The head therapist is friendly enough, however, lacks good communication skills at times. If he asks if you did your home exercises and you say no, he will rudely walk away without a word. In my case I had asked my doctor if it was okay for me to attend PT once a week and do my home workouts as I have a copay per visit and am on a tight budget and allowed limited physical therapy visits were year with my insurance coverage. My doctor said that was okay.... yet the head therapist at this location, very angrily and loudly spoke down to me in front of both patients and other employees on my last visit asking me why did I only come once a week. when I explained the situation, he then stated that he wished I had told HIM that and that I wasted my money by going only once a week. I felt this was something he could have spoken to me about privately instead of announcing it to the entire office. Also, while I was being iced during one of my visits, I overheard two other therapists near me talking about a client that had just left and poking fun at her progress. It made me wonder what they say about ME after I leave from my visits. For those two reasons, I will not be returning to this office.

Almost all my calls during business hours went to voice mail. When I did manage to reach the receptionist, it was impossible to schedule a phone meeting with the doctor regarding my child. I was only allowed to leave a voice mail, which was never returned. In addition, my letters asking for more information went unanswered for months. I found it quite remarkable that this place did not have the common decency to respond in a timely manner. I only received a response via a letter three months later after being persistent and assertive in my approach. The letter was full of patronizing nonsense from Dr. Souder and it did not contain the information I was desperately seeking. It 's not hard to see how this place shares similar hallmarks. I would go as far to say that this is the most frustrating and excruciatingly miserable service I have ever encountered from a health care professional. The effect of all this is so uninvolving, so uncaring, so downright silly, that it baffles even sympathetic parents. Places that are enlightened enough to consider communication with the child's parent of paramount importance would be a better fit for this kind of service as parents are already going through a difficult time. I hope this place improves its posture towards timely communication as it would benefit all concerned.

This morning my 90-year-old mom was let alone on the toilet at 7:30 a.m. half cleaned up, poop on everything and the CNA never returned. She got herself back to bed and had to walk through poop all over the floor. I arrived at 9 with her breakfast to find her a mess. No one answered the call light. I walked the halls asking for help. Finally I went to therapy and had to reschedule her OT and clean her up, get her dressed, and clean up the room myself. I requested an administrator meet with me to discuss my experience and I expected them to speak with me and help me. Instead they wouldn't let me speak and only wanted my mom to speak and she didn't know who they were or why they were there. She's hearing impaired and didn't know what they were saying. One didn't like that I was angry and wanted to speak, and was so patronizing and condescending. I was even more upset after the interaction with the staff I asked to help me. I was told my tone was unprofessionally and if I kept it I would be asked to leave and escorted out if I returned. My tone is much stronger now and I hope my mom is alive when I go back to get her out of that place. Please do not put anyone you love in this place. My dad was at Ashton Creek for three weeks and I gave them five stars.

I was there for a knee replacement physical therapy. I saw a nurse when they took me to my room. I never saw another sole up until 7:30 when my daughter arrived to get me. No dinner, missed my pain medication that was due at 6:30. I pushed the call button at 15 minute intervals 4 times from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm. no one ever answered them. when my daughter came to get me and wheeled me out we never saw a nurse, receptionist or anyone to tell I was leaving so we just left. No one ever called because I was missing!! Please don't put anyone in this place that you care about. I still have dreams about it.

I have been going to Core Physical Therapy for several months. I am in therapy for multiple issues…read more I've learned so much about tendons, muscles, my neck, spine, nerves and so on. Each issue is being treated appropriately and I'm finally walking tall and straight with much less pain. Until I started therapy, I would never forget to take my pain medication, but, I do now! My therapist doesn't baby me, but rather motivates and pushes me which is why I'm there. Yes, I'm sore after a session, and that's a good thing. They are very professional, and just good people who care about their patients. I've learned that as we get older, that we must continue to use our muscles, do stretches, and take care of our body's, it's that simple.
