This is a GREAT feed store. Customer service is excellent. They offer a great selection of products and they keep the prices down when compared to the other feed stores in the metroplex. They sell everything from canary seed, to chicken food which I appreciate. If you have a dog or a cat you can find food and supplies for them as well. If you haven't already you will want to check this place out. I'm always surprised more people don't know about the store since they have been in business 100 years!!! read more

I came here and was not greeting when I entered the store. There were two people working one was helping a customer and the other was eating. I walked back and located one item I wanted and had a question about the other item so I walked back to the counter and waiting to be assisted. The young lady was still eating, made eye contact with me and still never acknowledged me. She then went on to put her food down and help another lady check out who arrived to the counter after me. I'm not in the business of giving my hard earned money to people who don't have the common decency to acknowledge my presence as as a paying customer. I left and will not be returning. read more

My husband and I have been coming here for the past two years to buy our dog his food. It never fails- the workers are friendly and polite. They always go above and beyond to assist, too. Most times when I go in and buy the bulk size bag of dog food, the workers will lift the bag, take it to the register and then to my car- it's so old fashioned and beyond convenient. read more

By far my favorite feed store in the area. There is always someone nearby to help you out, I've never had to even ask for assistance. Faithful and true! When I moved back here to the city in 2000 with a string of horses Handley Feed was a life savor! I rented a barn, trained some horses, and had a stud service. I had every need met with feed and products with nearby Handley and they were always willing to help me out, even when it wasn't easy for them. They have the new store front now and product selection is even greater than in the old days. Nice people and great local business! read more

My daughter was so excited to own her first chickens and John went above and beyond to walk her through the process and get her set up. I may live near Adam's Feed, but I will no longer shop there. Really happy and grateful for this feed store. I discovered Handley Feed Store after a different feed store I used to frequent folded and closed their doors. The fact this store is local and so convenient to east side of Fort Worth is a life savor. But I've also recommended to friends in Arlington and kennedale who frequent this store as well because of its easy access central location. What stands out here though above all else is the customer service!!! A++++ everyone here is so friendly and helpful. I can order the feed I need at the register and one of the guys bring it up from the stock room and always insist on loading it into my truck for me even though I'm able bodied and could do it myself. Everyone I have had contact with is very helpful and knowledgable. It's always a great experience with the customer service here because it feels so genuine, not forced or fake. Even if you don't have pets or animals they have a huge selection of other things too like pest control, wild bird food, gardening supplies and more. The selection can't be beat and the knowledgeable staff does circles around what you'll find at the big box stores. Keep up the good work Handley feed! read more

After calling several other feed stores and nurseries to find burlap bags for our church's Easter carnival, I finally decided to try Handley Feed store. Not only were they friendly and had a MUCH lower price for slightly used bags, when I arrived, I was met and greeted at the door, led to the shelf where they were located and had a pleasant check out experience, but, one of the gentlemen who worked there walked over and offered to get me 4 smaller bags in case there were small children who needed to use them, and he gave me those free of charge. Rather than getting 6 bags for $30 which I was quoted at other places, I got 6 large bags plus 4 small ones for $12.00 and had a much nicer customer service experience.
