Ever so patiently waiting for a store here in Atlanta, this week I checked out the new Sandhill spot. The staff is very helpful and eager to help you find just the right piece. They do offer gifts for bridal, birth, or any other special event you can think of. They do have a section for monogramming, but they are not tied down to that, just as they have a lot of sterling, but they have a lot of other pieces right now that are more in style now...and the prices are so fantastic. Being fairly new to SC I only recently stumbled across Handpicked while walking around the Village at Sandhills. I am so impressed with this store. The staff was SO friendly and helpful. Ordered earrings, monogram came in the wrong font. Manager was very terse, told me to contact corporate office. Called the number she gave me 3 times, left messages that were ignored. Because the manager had offered to help make it right if corporate couldn't fix it, I replied to her email to let her know that there was no response from the main office, and since there has been no response or followup from her. Store did not call to let me know that a second order was in. Bottom line, the store lost a customer who had shopped with them since they were one store on Devine St. over a $20 order. Absolutely no reason for the crappy customer service and refusal to work with a customer. If I'd behaved that way while working retail, I'd have been fired. It's not much, but bottom line is I can choose where to spend my money. If you don't want me as a customer, I'm happy to take my business somewhere else. Just ridiculous. read more

i and everyone else I know has shopped at Handpicked for years. I asked my mom for a monogrammed necklace for Christmas. In the description on the website it said initials will be engraved on the right side. So I didn't think to tell my mom to ask for it to be engraved on the right side. When I got it for Christmas it was in the middle and a lot bigger than the picture on the website. I called and told them what happened. The offered to engrave the back for $5 or 40% off a new necklace. The next day they changed their website to read the necklace could be engraved in the center or the right. Personally, I think they should replace the necklace for free since their website misrepresented what they were actually selling. And they made sure to change their website the next day. For someone who has shopped with them for a very long time and so has my family, husband and friends I find this is not a suitable solution. I doubt I will be going back in there for any other jewelry or gifts. It's terrible when you are really excited about a gift and it is nothing like you thought it would be and even worse when a store you love really disappoints with customer service. read more

Do not order anything from Handpicked! Ordered monogrammed gold earrings from the website, the initials were out of order and when I asked for it to be redone or refunded they refused. Customer service and satisfaction IS NOT their first priority at all! I will never shop there again and will be sure to tell my friends and co-workers about this disappointing experience. I purchased a watch and some other items on Sunday February 24, 2013. needless to say my watch did not work..I called the store on devine street on Tuesday February 26, 2013, to let them know, what was going on. The sales lady Angie told me that I could exchange the item not return the item. I am so disappointed! I placed an order on Dec. 26, 2015 for a monogrammed necklace. The confirmation email gave me a ship date of January 15, 2016. I emailed customer service as requested by the confirmation on January 19 to inquire about shipping ..today is the 21st and I still have heard nothing! They've managed to send me 3 emails promoting their sales but can't answer my inquiry. They were paid on Dec 28 but I have not received anything.
