He had already been treated in the hospital and was specifically instructed to follow up with his PCP, and he was also due for his annual visit. Unfortunately, we were met with extremely poor customer service at the front desk. The receptionist repeatedly stated that the clinic 'doesn't treat accidents,' despite us clearly explaining multiple times that he was not seeking accident treatment, but rather a hospital discharge follow-up and routine care. We even provided hospital documentation showing he had already been treated, yet there was little effort or willingness to review or upload the paperwork into his chart. The lack of listening, understanding, and basic professionalism was very concerning. As a nurse, I found this experience especially frustrating and disappointing. Access to primary care--especially for appropriate follow-up--should not be this difficult. After reading similar experiences from other patients, I feel confident that changing providers is the safest and most appropriate decision for us. Due to the nature of this encounter, I also intend to report this experience and provide appropriate documentation to outside agencies to ensure this issue is addressed and does not continue to affect other patients. You never know the circumstances or backgrounds of the patients and families you are interacting with--compassion, professionalism, and proper communication are essential in healthcare.

I've never had a doctor that had so much patience and never rushes you out of her office. She takes the time to give you an explanation that you can understand. She is such a friendly, kind-hearted doctor. These days, it's very rare that you find a doctor like Dr. Harr. Her entire Staff is wonderful, from the Receptionist and Office Staff to the Nurses and the PA's. Everyone is so sweet and friendly. It's a very calm office atmosphere. I chose the practice because of its strong reviews, and my first visit gave me high hopes. The…read moreoffice was clean, I was seen on time, and the physician in training who saw me before Dr. G was outstanding: thorough, thoughtful, and attentive. That first visit was so positive that I even recommended the practice to my mom, aunt, and sister. Everything after that was the opposite. It took multiple calls to get my prescriptions sent correctly after they were sent to the wrong pharmacy and most weren't sent at all, and we'll call you back took days. Then, When my lab results were ready, I called and was told they could simply be emailed to me, and they were. A few hours later, I received a notice that I had missed an appointment and was being charged a $35 no-show fee. I called the next morning, explained the misunderstanding, and was told to come in Friday to review my labs. On Friday, the receptionist handed me paperwork for an annual wellness visit I never requested and had recently completed. When I tried to explain I was there only for a lab review, she repeatedly interrupted, waved me back toward the waiting area and simply repeated multiple times that was what I was scheduled for. I said I did not request a wellness visit. I was told I would be charged another no-show fee despite being there in front of her if I didn't have this procedure done (despite having had it done recently). When I asked about the attitude, she laughed and said "I'll go get my lead", I never asked for a supervisor. The receptionist left and returned with the office lead, whose first words to me were, "What do you need?" She did not ask what happened, only repeated the policy and said I would be charged. I asked if I could briefly speak with Dr. G about the scheduling error. I was told no. I asked to simply leave my phone number so Dr. G could call me later so I could share my feedback, and while I was finishing writing it, the office lead demanded I go sit down to finish it or threatened to call the police. THREATENED TO CALL TGE POLICE, when there is nobody behind me, when I didn't raise my voice or curse, I wasn't asked to leave, simply because I was unhappy paying a no show fee for showing up to a type of appointment I didn't request. There were no patients waiting behind me, and I said repeatedly that I was happy to leave if that was what they wanted. While she had the police dialed she went back and Dr. G eventually came to the front. I appreciated that, but before I could explain, I was told I couldn't disruptive as she was arriving (I wasn't even speaking to her yet) and she referred any feedback back to the office lead. After seeing the same behavior from the doctors as the tone deaf staff, I left because it was clear my concerns were not going to be heard and the staff is one that escalates simple matters. This was a scheduling misunderstanding, not a safety issue. A receptionist or office lead should listen, clarify, and de-escalate, not jump straight to threatening to call the police. Because of how this was handled, I called my family and told them not to become patients. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office to others or trust it with my family's care.

This office is happy to leave THREE MONTHS expired birth control embedded in your body and when you ask if that's even safe, they'll tell you to GOOGLE IT!!! Imagine calling a doctor's office with a medical concern, and they tell you to google it!!! I would rather pay whatever an emergency room wants from me than deal with any of these negligent, incompetent, insensitive, rude as all get out personnel EVER AGAIN. I was willing to wait my initial three months from January to the beginning of April because it was what it was, but to cancel on me day of and then not at least TRY and help or even answer my questions as to whether something is safe or not is abhorrent. Just find another OBGYN, if they can't even answer a medical question about whether an expired medication is safe or not, they clearly cannot provide a safe or reasonable level of care.
