After booking a "couples package" online I called to add on services and was told to book again. When you schedule a "couples massage" you're scheduling an individual massage. After being told they couldn't do anything, I asked for a refund considering the rude demeanor. I was told "no refunds" was somewhere on their site and could provide screenshots/screen recording, the owner Debbie aka KAREN is extremely rude, laughs and proceeds to say she is not giving me a refund and hangs up in my face. Mind you this is all within 10 minutes of finding this place and booking. I'm literally CONFUSED how this lady has a business and hope the clients she has today are well aware she forgot to take her meds... would never step place in this place. ZERO stars read more

The women with the tattoos had a good personality but the issue was with the light massage I received. I would recommend this message for a senior or someone who is injured. If you like deeper and hard massage I would suggest you go elsewhere. I asked her twice to go a bit deeper but I don't know if she was tired or didn't want to put more effort into the massage. I understand that most of the massage therapists out there don't want to put a lot of effort due to damaging their hands. What I don't understand is why pick a career that you have to use your hands and put pressure against people? During the massage she put 3 blankets over me with a warm pack that was making me over heat and sweat. I've never had someone put so many blankets on me for a massage. It's not even winter anymore . A simple sheet would have been sufficient.. About 15 into the massage I knew I had made a mistake coming here. I was hoping the massage would get better but it didn't. At the end she asked me how was the massage and I didn't hold back. She stated not to pay for it if I didn't like it but I ain't no cheap skate and offered to pay her half at least. Best part of the massage I would say was her using the machine on me first . If she would have used the machine the entire time I would have give her an average review instead. Worst massage I've ever had. The masseuse was melancholy with her work, just not really into it. She put ice/hot cream on my back and then covered me with a heavy hot blanket. After I complained of the second degree burning she removed the blanket. I guess that's how they do their massage. I'd recommend going to CVS pick up some ice/hot and save yourself the disappointment. read more

First time customer of Hands on Healing and I plan to go again. I had a massage by Tracee following a recent surgery. It was a relaxing experience and she had enough 'know-how' to do true body work to accelerate healing. The building is plain on the outside, but once you step into the H.o.H. offices you get the full spa atmosphere. I like the quiet neighborhood setting where I would be comfortable riding my bike to and from an appointment. They offer a lot of services in addition to massage including detox, exfoliation, and beauty treatments. Once a month there is an open house with reduced prices where you can try treatments and meet staff. read more

Hands on Healing is AMAZING! Love the ambiance - it's so relaxing (it's a nice calming place and the rooms are very nicely decorated. Honestly the rooms gave me a more relaxed feeling before I even started my massage), and I especially love Stephanie! Stephanie has been able to help me get relief for my upper back, which tightens up during long periods of stress. I have been so stressed out during the past few months that my back was unnaturally tight. I couldn't even remember what it was like to feel de-stressed anymore, and Stephanie was able to help relieve all of it! She was so compassionate and concerned about me, and was able to fix my shoulders (they were ridiculously tight and I realized that after she was done - my whole entire back felt so much better afterwards). I honestly think that her hands are magical - the name "Hands on Healing" definitely suits the business for sure. Everyone else that I have met there has been super nice and they even sent me a card saying thank you for your business and it was signed by everyone at the shop. I decided to take advantage of the Valentine's day package and get a couples package. This was the first massage I have ever had and was curious to what it entailed. I was lucky enough to have Lorrie provide my massage. The package began with the infrared sauna that helped relax me before the massage began. After about thirty minutes I was heated up and ready to lay down. Lorrie was amazing and provided me one of the most relaxing experiences I have ever had. Working in a high stress environment it's easy to forget what it's like to be completely relaxed. Now I realize how important this is for my health. If you live an active lifestyle like myself, then you need to come to this place and ask for Steph. She does it all! I originally started getting massages here to 'loosen up' the muscles sort of speak and to relieve stress and tension that the body takes from work and exercise (i still do till this day). However, what I didn't know, is that massage therapy is also a great way to help with body injuries (sports/work related or not). For example: Not to long ago, I suffered a knee injury while climbing Half Dome in Yosemite. During the climb, both my knees gave out and just locked up on me. I couldn't bend them. After talking to Steph about my situation, she told me to hurry up and come in for treatment so she can repair the damage that was caused. Come to find out, Steph actually specializes in pain management and repair utilizing a variety of techniques such as trigger point therapy, Myofascial release, and PNF Stretching. Steph restored full motion in my knees with just a few sessions! I couldn't believe how fast the recovery was. I was able to get off the crutches sooner then my doctor had anticipated thanks to the treatment Steph gave me. Here's another reason why you'll love Steph: She gives you a crash course on Human Anatomy. Steph breaks the complexity of the human body down to where an average guy like me can understand. I'mI see Stephanie smith when I am in pain. (Which given my new place in life is becoming more frequent). She is amazing. She always finds time to get me in and she warm and welcoming. I recently have been dealing with a bad bout of tension headaches which have been making it hard to sleep and have led to migraines. Thursday I had a shot at the doctors office and it helped for a bit but a few days later the pain in my neck and shoulder is back. I saw her today and she worked on my neck and shoulders obviously finding my problem areas. She taped my up with rocktape... love this stuff and love miss steph!!! I have also been to Savanah for my waxing service. Having never been waxed in an intimate area before she was very comforting. She didn't make it awkward of uncomfortable at all. It was far less painful than I expected (after talking to coworkers and friends I saw terrified) but she made the entire expirence not enjoyable per say but tolerable with excellent conversion.
