I went to Hands On Healing for the infrared sauna. I loved it here and will be back many more times. It was clean, hospitable, and the staff were very kind. The sauna is enclosed in a private room with a door and floor to ceiling walls, so it is quiet and very private. The room has plenty of towels, bottled cold and hot water and a faucet. They have thought of everything. The sauna is huge, long enough to lay out and stretch. Has a dimmer light so you can read or rest your eyes in the dark. They even provide a robe and pillow. I've been here twice now and although small, I really do enjoy this spa. I had a pre natal massage a few years ago and just recently had a massage and facial plus 30 minutes in their infrared sauna. Love the sauna! It would be lovely if they had a shower for after sitting in the sauna as you get quite sweaty but I understand that their space is small and putting in a shower would be a rather large expense. I wanted cupping as a part of my massage but unfortunately the massage therapist that I had didn't do it, next time hopefully! Overall great experience and very fair pricing. read more

Horrible customer service just trying to book! We were trying to get a couples massage and when calling to add on a facial was told that they only had one person massage available and when booking for couples you have to book twice. Nowhere on the website it said that and when asked for a refund we were told they could not and it was clearly on the website (it was not) the receptionist said they would contact the owner and see what they could do then said they had a couples opening but already feeling uncomfortable about the massage now we just wanted the refund when talking with the owner debrah she was very rude and kept saying we should of seen it on the website and no one has ever requested a refund... on the reviews someone did try and got the same service Debrah refused to refund and kept hanging up on us she was extremely rude and has a history of going off and hanging up on customers. I just had the best massage from Debby, and a good cleansing facial with Savanna today, and feel absolutely fabulous. I suffer from all kinds of chronic pain, so massages aren't always as relaxing or as therapeutic as I hope. But Debby seemed to intuitively tailor her work to help me find relief. If you suffer this way, treat yourself to some body work here! Savanna was a delight, and I enjoyed getting to know her during the facial. My skin is soft and glowing (and super clean)! Love, love, love this place...I've had massages with Debbie and Tracee and both were awesome. If you're looking for 'energy' work, definitely call Tracee. What else is great is their easy online appointment booking system. When you walk in, you'll immediately start relaxing from the 'zen' feeling. The sauna is hard for me but it does warm up your muscles and get you ready for the massage to come. I love the spa feeling of slippers and a big robe and the little tote they give you for your clothes. Also they give you a nice cool towel and water. This is my first review. I've been to Hands on healing 3 times to see the very lovely talented and compassionate Stephanie Smith. The first time I went to see her was for a 1 hour massage. I had been going through a tremendous amount of stress. At my arrival, I was greeted by stephanie, filled out some official paperwork and had some small chit chat to get to know each other. The room scheduled was clean, comfortable and had light relaxation music that wafted through the whole building. I asked her to massage me how she saw was fit for my situation. This young lady really knows what she's doing. She is a total sweetheart, she worked out the kinks and knots in my muscles just how they needed to be worked out. The hour session left me at ease and total peace. I definitely recommend seeing Stephanie and the other wonderful people here. I suffer from chronic shoulder pain and earlier this week I experienced some debilitating pain in my upper back and shoulder. I called Healing Hands to schedule an appointment. Fortunately they were able to fit me in that day in the afternoon. My appointment was with Tracy and she did an excellent job. Just the right amount of pressure. She was also very personable and approachable. The next morning the pain in my upper back was gone and the range of motion in my left arm had improved. It's true, it's really hard to find but the massage therapist met me out back and brought me inside. The music was soothing and lights were dimmed. Got a massage for the first time here today. I don't get massages very often because let's face it, they're expensive wherever you go, even at a fair price like $75 hr. I used to go to Kharma on the Miracle Mile, but my massage therapist moved and I didn't feel the others I tried did as thorough a job. Read reviews for Hands On Healing and thought it would be worth trying. Booked an appointment with Steph because of all the rave reviews here. Wow was it worth it. I have insane muscle tension throughout my body, but especially in my back and shoulders, and hip flexor problems in my left hip. I completely forgot to tell Steph about my hip problem, and she 'found' it within minutes and relieved my discomfort COMPLETELY. This is a major thing, I went to physical therapy for this hip for weeks, and never felt as good as I did walking out of Hands On Healing today. My neck and shoulders also feel much relief and increased range of motion. Thank you Steph, for helping me! I will be back soon, even on this teacher's budget! read more

It is not easy to find a legitimate, trusty therapeutic massage location. I thank Yelp for the find of this place. It is located in the same building as medical and other holistic services. You will not see any outside/external signage, so make sure you arrive a little early to check out your surroundings. The room smells pleasant as a massage place ought to. The restroom was clean. It is a bit small, tight, but they make it work. I was comfortable, it seemed clean & cozy, and there are quite a few offerings to combine with the massage like infrared sauna, body exfoliating, and products for skincare are sold here. Stacy was my therapist and I liked her. Aside from Swedish massage, she used hot stones and a Jeanie Rub. I will go back again in the near future. This review is way over due as I have been going to this place for years now. Joyce has been my massage therapist since the beginning and I've been getting massages from her at least every few months or so. However, I've been seeing her a bit more frequent these days due to my upper and low back issues related to work and long commutes. She seriously has the hands that heal you. Her techniques are suitable to my preference and she's very knowledgeable and incredibly professional. I always get the 90min massages which includes a variety of techniques. My favorites are deep tissue and hot stone which helps relaxes my fatigued muscles. Other than the massage itself, the reason I keep going back to this place is the overall environment. It's relaxing and isn't packed. Joyce is very accommodating and has a wealth of knowledge to share. I've definitely recommended this place to all my friends and family. read more

I was in desperate need of a massage because of my chronic neck and back problems, and I seriously was about to settle for that "massage" place inside the mall. However, I decided to shell out the extra money for something more legit, so I decided to go with a place with good reviews. Low and behold, Hands on Healing showed up in my yelp search, and the ease of the online appointment sold me. I had Tracee for a deep tissue massage. She asked me specifically where I was hurting and took the time to ask me questions. She seemed super friendly and knowledgeable, so I was happy about that. Oh boy, when the massage started, I seriously wanted to cry because she worked on my muscles sooo hard! But I realized that duh! I wanted a deep tissue massage, and that's what I got. I figured that I probably wouldn't have been in so much if my back didn't have problems to begin with. It hurt, but it's one of those "it hurts so good" type of massages. I felt relieved afterwards, and then I regretted my cheap arse for getting the half hour instead of the hour-long. Tracee greeted me afterwards with a FULL bottle of water (other places I've been to give you a tiny cup!) and even pulled out an easter basket to choose an egg filled w/ discounts and chocolates from! I wanted to get a 50% off discount, but I got the free paraffin hand service instead. It's okay though, something is better than nothing! I will be returning one day, hopefully sooner than later. Bought two 90 minute massages for my folks as a Christmas present. Mom called to thank me for such a wonderful gift right after. She said it was so much more than a massage, it was very therapeutic and she hadn't felt this good is many many years. My dad called the next day to thank me and told me had massages before but nothing remotely close to this. He fell asleep and was in such a relaxed state he asked the masouse if he could hang around longer and soak it in. She said of course, take your time.
