HYD did an excellent job with our master bathroom remodel. Highly recommend! We needed to remodel our bathroom after some water got behind some tile, causing damage. When we first got quotes, we chose HYD not because it was the cheapest, but because the project manager (Tee) gave a thorough estimate, asked good questions, and gave us the confidence he had the time, attention, and skill set to get it done right. We also liked working with a company local in Tucker. We got started on the project - despite many supply delays (supply chain woes of 2021/2022) HYD worked with our schedule and got crews out to the home quickly as our materials arrived. The crews worked with us to implement the design we wanted, including customizations around tile design, colors, and materials. It was clear to me that the crews had a good relationship with HYD and Tee - which we appreciated and was a sign of mutual trust. HYD was very communicative and worked around our calendar to schedule crew visits. As the project neared completion, one member of the plumbing crew (appeared to be an apprentice) made an error of inexperience, leading to water damage in our walls and garage ceiling. It was a major bummer, as the project was nearly finished, and we were going to have to open some walls and pull back carpet to assess and repair the damage. However, HYD went above and beyond to rectify the issue. They worked to pull up carpet, dry our walls, repaint and repair damaged areas, and return the damaged spaces back to normal. They also provided compensation by making all repairs at no cost to us and providing double the compensation we had asked for for the lost time and hassle. In my view, this was what made HYD stand out above other contractors and firms we've worked with in the past: when the damage was done, they took ownership of it, fixed it as quickly as possible, and gave us double what we asked for in compensation for the time lost and hassle. They even installed a light in our kitchen that wasn't in our estimate free of charge. In my experience, finding a trustworthy and honorable company who will do this for their clients is a rare find. And so while it may seem odd to give a 5 star review in this situation, I hope readers will interpret this as a rating of HYDs integrity, thoroughness, and responsibility as a reputable company. They will be there for you, even if the project gets tough. We absolutely love our new master bathroom and will be asking HYD to assist with other projects in the future. read more

"My wife and I used HYD to help us move a couple of months ago. Ricardo and Freddy were fantastic. They were VERY careful with all of our stuff. Especially my wife's precious antique vanity that was her great grandmother's. After the move. Freddy told me that they also offer handyman services. I told him I was sure we would have things to do at our new place. And we did. As luck would have it our refrigerator's water ice line froze, backed up, and leaked through the wall into our guest bedroom. The baseboard was ok but the drywall was stained and warped from the water. I called another appliance company to fix the refrigerator and then called Hands You Demand to come fix the drywall. The technician Noah that came out was super polite and charming and the work he did repairing our drywall couldn't of gone any better. (We did find a bit of drywall dust from the sanding that somehow made it through the plastic drop cloth and into the carpet...But Noah used his own mini vacuum and got it all up in no time!) We also had him install a dimmer switch in our daughter's bedroom. We we're super pleased with the professionalism of all of the guys at HYD. And I know we'll need and use them again soon! I called on Wednesday to see if I could get two men to move some furniture around in the house and open our pool. Matt had David and Freddy out to my house at 1:00 the next day (exactly on time - when was the last time you had someone show up exactly when they said they would?!) They worked hard for 3 hours, were polite, respectful of the items they were handling and they completed everything on my list! They moved furniture from the basement to the second story, from the garage to the second story, from the second story to the main level, took the cover off the pool, put it in the bag and took it to the basement. I was going to leave the pool job until the very end, but David suggested that they go ahead and remove the cover and lay it out on the grass to dry while they were doing some of the other work. That way they could fold it up and put it in the bag before they left. I appreciated his initiative to suggest that otherwise I would have been stuck trying to fold it myself or I would have had to put it away for the season damp and possibly moldy by fall! I called HYD looking for a temporary worker to assist my personal shopping service company in Atlanta two days a week for 4-5 hours each day while we looked for a more permanent solution. They sent us a sharp man by the name of Ronald who has more than exceeded our expectations. He arrives each week on time, works twice as hard as any other and has a great attitude. Although the cost per hour is more than I prefer for the position he is filling, the assistance he provides, including convenience and reliability, more than compensate for the added cost. He has done such a great job that my shipping manager asked if we can keep him on as long as possible. HYD has turned what could have been a stressful situation (trying to find a worker who is willing to only work 2x a week for 4-5 hours each day) into a true blessing. I contracted with Hands You Demand to paint the walls of three rooms (with closets), repair stress cracks, loose drywall tape, drywall damage in the walls (about 9 areas), and to repair a vanity cabinet. They sent Freddy the handyman to do the jobs. Freddy is a professional and did a very good job. I can't tell that the drywall was repaired. It looks like new drywall was installed. I am also very pleased with the painting and cabinet repair. In order for Freddy to do his job it took a professional to make the proper arrangements. That professional is Jack the company's Estimator/Project Manager. Jack assessed the job areas and gave me a fair market price for labor. He also managed the job professionally to ensure that it was properly completed and he advised me on the proper supplies to purchase and effectively handled any concerns that I had. I set up an appointment online with Hands you Demand yesterday to come out today. Rafael came out right on time. I needed some cabinets removed from the kitchen and reinstalled in the laundry room. I also wanted to add crown molding to the top of the cabinets in the laundry room and supplied him with the stained and varnished wood. Raphael didn't waste a minute. His skill with cabinet removal without damaging the cabinets was amazing. He had the cabinets installed in a very timely manner. It took him a while to figure out the angle of the cut for the crown molding and he didn't charge us for the time it took for him to figure that out. He was very professional and knew what to do. He didn't hesitate to call someone to help him figure out the angle of the cut. I will use Hands on Demand again. There was no need to wait for someone to come out or wait for the estimate or wait to schedule the work. You provide the details and select a time that's convenient for you. Love it! Their customer service was excellent. Everyone was prompt and courteous...from the person scheduling, to the handyman who came out to do the work, to the follow-up call to confirm everything was completed to my satisfaction. We had to have some work done on our main bathtub that involved the plumbers needing to cut out portions of tile to move a pipe forward. Unfortunately, the plumbers themselves didn't do tile work, so we reached out to Hands You Demand. Tee walked through the issue with me, and made sure he had the correct details for our quote, and even updated our quote when I asked that their team order and pickup the tiles (original quote had me doing it, and I know NOTHING about tiles or what is needed!). We decided to have the entire tub re-done, rather than just the portion that was cut. The actual team did a great job ensuring everything was covered in the bathroom and adjoining bedroom, and as it was a two-day job, made sure to reset each day, and checked in with me when they had any updates or questions/concerns. I recently hired Hands You Demand for a move out of our old house and into our new home. I contacted Lennie and explained our situation that we would need movers for two different days based on our closings. He suggested based on our home and work involved that we use 3 workers for each day of moving. I scheduled the work a couple weeks in advance. The workers showed up on the days scheduled on time and dressed professionally. The guys were very polite and worked extremely hard for us. I was referred to Hands you Demand by another company. I spoke to Tee when I first called. He was very helpful, patient and kind while I explained the work that I wanted done. I did not feel like I was being rushed through the process. He sent me the link as he promised to input pictures of what I wanted done. The process was very easy, and it gave them an idea of what the work would look like. Unfortunately, they were not able to do the job because it is such a unique project. I "discovered" this company on Angie's List, and checked them out on Tucker Town Talk on Facebook. They live up to their billing. I used them in their "organization - home and garden" capacity. David helped me in my library and laundry room/pantry which had become a dumping ground for everything I didn't have the time or physical capacity (injury) to deal with. He is strong, patient, kind, intelligent, quick and extremely efficient. Their billing is quite clever: you pay by number of workers and blocks of hours. The charges are very reasonable. When you hire them, they will work hard, steadily and get a lot accomplished. I will use them again, in fact I am moving my "honey do" lists to a "to do" list for them. read more
