Marcus and his assistant, Devon, came out yesterday to repair our back deck. The deck was built 20…read moreyears ago without professional guidance, so some of the woodwork was kind of wonky. The top part of the deck, made from teak, is still fine, but all the rails (aside from the main supports) and bottom of the stairs were pine, so many of those parts needed replacement due to wood rot. Additionally, the slats that framed around the porch weren't attached properly, so Marcus took them all off and reattached them correctly and securely. He also removed an electrical outlet that wasn't working and capped off the wiring. The baseboards were also replaced with PVC. It was a full-day project, and these guys worked hard. I can't say enough for their professionalism--from the quality work they did (plus explaining everything to me), and beginning and ending the day with cordial words. Such politeness is not a give in these days. The day began with a friendly greeting and ended in the evening with, "Have a nice night," not to mention polite interactions throughout the day. They also cleaned up perfectly, removing all the old wood. Even though they went beyond what we discussed, and Marcus did the extra work (wooden slats that weren't attached properly and a piece of wood behind the stairs that was replaced with PVC which we hadn't talked about initially) Marcus stuck to his original estimate. ***I would recommend these guys without reservation.*** I will also add that their pricing was very fair with an estimate given ahead of time. The bathrooms included a steam shower and a large shower with floating marble benches that he installed. The house is from 1908 and the walls were challenging to get the tile installed and look perfect. Tony was definitely the right person for this job. The waterproofing of the showers and steam room was thorough and Tony was great at explaining what he was going to do, and explaining what he had done. He left the job areas clean and worked quickly coming every day including weekends to complete the job. His company is definitely the one to use for any tiling work.

Would never let this guy into my house! As I drove home this afternoon one of their employees…read moreinsisted on tailgating me because I had the nerve to drive only a few miles over the speed limit on Hwy 100 in Franklin. Once he was able to get around me he accelerated and proceeded to speed down the highway at least 10 mph over the speed limit. He wove in and out of traffic and raced away. At the next stoplight (Hwy 100 & Loomis) he was directly ahead of me at the light. He proceeded to roll down his window and flip me off. Ok, not the end of the world. I have a teenager. He did it for long enough that I had time to take a picture. Due to construction the intersection was down to a single lane. When the light turned green, he pulled up to the intersection and refused to proceed blocking my car and all the cars behind me. He sat there for the entirety of the light, flipping me off and laughing mockingly at me in the driver's side mirror. Again, I have a teenager. This does not exactly devastate me. . Even after the light turned yellow he waited until he was sure I couldn't proceed through the intersection, turned right and continued down Loomis. It worries me that someone this unstable is driving around. Millard, do better before this guy hurts someone and gets you sued.

No apologies, no effort to correct the problems with craftsmanship. There's a reason this guy has a list of people suing him-- the circuit court search results say more than I ever could-- he's a con artist, and is pretty darn rude himself!
