History

Established in 2022.

Handy has been in motion since summer 2022 after relocating our family back to Auriel's home state of Maine. Auriel & Ana immediately started Handy after running a custom design commercial workshop in Northern California previously for over two years as well as both having professional construction experience, with Ana's bigger focus on commercial painting. Auriel himself has had several trade apprenticeships.

Meet the Business Owner: Auriel C.

I've been in the world of design, construction, and technology for over twenty years including both technical and creative work in the field and on digital platforms, working throughout the country including Florida, Colorado, California, and even Puerto Rico, and a focal point on Los Angeles. I've been leading build teams since the age of nineteen, and have been involved in large scale project management for construction and design, including build teams for the world famous Burning Man Festival in Nevada and historic buildings in Old San Juan, PR. I find balance in doing construction locally while engaging out business exploits at home in creative design. I offer you the opportunity to work with "not your every day contractor", with a knack for the technical and creative, as well as common sense straight forward communication to make things go as easy as possible.
