I contacted and hired Denny from California on behalf of my sister, who met him to have a pair of folding utility doors installed on a semi-enclosed patio closet in a house in Safety Harbor. His communication with me was prompt, his price was better than other quotes, he was at the early side of on-time, he did the job quickly, and demonstrated some problem solving skills to mount the doors (needed height trimming, and the masonry at bottom needed modifying a bit to accept the lower track, and took the old doors away. Sister will now be calling Denny for work at her primary home. Glad I went with him. read more

Handy Denny was FANTASTIC!! He made an appt with me on Friday for 10am. He brought his wife to assist with removing and installing a new entry door. He showed up 10 mins early. Both were great and did a fantastic job!! It wasn't an easy project but he charged a reasonable and acceptable rate to remove and installing a new door. He was well prepared and was very clean all throughout the removal and installation. I will hire him again in the future since he was upfront with the pricing, reasonable, punctual, and very clean (always vacuuming up his work area). The door looks FANTASTIC & I have NO DOUBTS that there will be any issues with it now or in the future. The Front Door/Frame/threshold provided by me including the interior trim and outside trim. Handy Denny recently replaced the wooden soffits on the front side of my house after the plumbers had their way with them. The project was a full replacement, caulk, prime and paint with vent cutouts spanning over 80 linear feet. Denny showed up and delivered despite the brutal Florida August heat and rain. His punctuality, workmanship, and overall professionalism were outstanding. He was courteous and respectful throughout the entire process. I believe now that the source of the problem is that I was unfortunately working with a designer who was not effectively communicating my repeated concerns or requests for escalation through the company channels, which left me stuck in an endless loop of delays and setbacks. That said, I have lingering concerns about the repeated quality-control lapses involving the cabinet supplier itself. While S&W ultimately worked through the problems, the number of defects, replacement parts, and repeated corrections was well beyond what I would reasonably expect on a new installation of this scale. In fairness, I also recognize that had I been more assertive about making sure management directly heard my concerns, the resolution likely would have come much sooner. Once I finally went around the bottleneck and escalated the issues myself, things began smoothing out quickly. In summary, I don't believe my experience reflects the company as a whole as much as an unfortunate mismatch with one designer who was not effectively managing communication or escalation. Once others within S&W Kitchens became involved, the project moved forward much more professionally and efficiently. I would like to thank all involved for, ultimately, a good result. Thank you!
