Acknowledging my concerns, he offered advice and developed a proposal. (I appreciated that he told me where and how I could manage some of my own tree work.) I received an immediate verbal quote; a formal written summary and authorization followed shortly thereafter. As is common throughout the service industry, it did take time to have the work done. I was not in immediate need and did not press. When the crew came out they worked efficiently and effectively and left me with a yard free of debris and trees culled of crossed branches and dead limbs. I would give four and a half stars but do not know how to add the last half.

I had them do some significant work then and when the recent storms left me in a pinch I didn't hesitate to call him back. One of the items was a 40 foot spruce that was in danger of landing on my house (see my profile pic). They also had to work between the street power lines and the run to the house. 4 hours start to finish without ANY drama. In the broad spectrum of tress services you can't beat their prices. Their equipment might be older but it gets the job done and I am sure that lends itself to the great prices I paid to get so much work done. So give them a try. During the job, however, our garage door and the surrounding metal casing were damaged. To his credit, he offered to file an insurance claim. We agreed instead on a simpler solution--he offered to come back and seal the driveway at no cost. Since then, I've followed up multiple times over an extended period to try to schedule the sealing, but unfortunately haven't been able to get a response. I'm sharing this not to be negative, but in hopes of reconnecting and getting this resolved. The work itself was strong, and based on that experience, I'd still like to see this situation brought to a fair close.
