I could be wrong, but I got the impression that the woman working the cash register would have been the owner - she was very nice. The store was pleasant and clean. All of the other patrons to the business were also friendly. I live in a larger city and never know what to expect when I stop in country convenience stores (I have seen some sketchy ones). I am always pleased when they are friendly and clean, like this one. Enfield was a cute little town. I can tell it was a more bustling town back in the day when the motel down the street was in operation, etc.

We got in line to pay, and the cashier Gloria was helping the man in front of me. While helping the man in front of me she says to me "Do you want fries?" I wasn't sure why she was asking, and thought maybe it was a special promo going on, so i said "are they free?" and she smirked and said "no, you have to pay for them". I was still a little confused on why she asked, but told her "no". Then she said "so you don't want fries?". I said "I already ordered fries. I ordered a 5 piece tender meal for my son, and a small fry for me." She replied and said "don't get smart with me, she told me to ask (and motioned to the employee over by the chicken). You could have made a mistake". She was so rude and snotty that I asked my son if he just wanted to leave, but he was hungry, so we waited. When I was done paying, my son told her thank you, and she didn't even respond. He's a young kid, do better. While waiting for our food, we got to watch her be EXTRA nice to the two people behind us. Like over the top nice - clearly putting on a show. We got to watch the show, because they failed to give me the fries that I had paid for. They had the tender meal ready, but not the fries. The outside trash cans were full but not overflowing. They do have areas to sit inside and outside as well. There's even a car wash here. Lots of pumps so not waiting.
