It will have you swearing off Lowe's and Home Depot for your next home upgrade. It's genuinely incredible what they have here: vintage locks, door knobs, drawer pulls, cabinet handles and knobs, lighting accessories, claw feet for tubs, and so much more. I was in restoration heaven. I'm honestly impressed that I only walked away with a few Art Deco handles and a bourbon barrel stave from Pappy Van Winkle. And the prices? Completely reasonable and very competitive for authentic vintage pieces. I'm renting at the moment, but my husband and I are planning to purchase a home next year, and I'm already very much looking forward to revisiting Village Salvage when we do. I can only imagine how dangerous this place is going to be once I actually own a house. The service was also wonderful, and it's worth mentioning that Village Salvage has much more than restoration hardware. They carry handcrafted and locally made furniture that is truly gorgeous. I was also told they take commissions for custom furniture, so if you're looking for a beautiful, one-of-a-kind piece that's built to last for generations, this is absolutely where I'd start my search. If you love vintage, restoration, architectural salvage, or just finding things you won't see in every other home store, put Village Salvage on your list. It's absolutely worth a stop in Waynesville.

I believe that Village Salvage may be the preeminent historic lock distributor in the country. And not only do they have the largest selection but they have amazing customer service. Can't say enough about the team at Village Salvage. Both Eben and Debbie went out of their way to accommodate me and help me with my order. I didn't have to over explain and they provided exactly what I needed. They were very confident and very professional. Such a great experience. And most importantly the locks arrived totally restored and in great working condition. Will be back any time I need a historic lock.

If you use a gift cert and return an item, they insist on giving you another gift cert BUT you must provide your driver's license so they can tie yet ANOTHER gift cart when you walked into the store with a gift card!! Why can they NOT put your refund back on your OWN gift cert? All the staff says is they can't do it that way. WHY??? I also want to know what is Home Depot doing with customer's personal data and driver's licenses numbers, addresses, etc. How long is Home Depot keeping my data and how are they keeping it safe?? Guess customers don't need to know that and morale this is 1) Don't use a gift ceret unless you want your personal data invaded or 2) just don't shop there. the STAFF is unhelpful and have nasty attitudes.

Called the number on my credit card to get the 18 months same as cash offer emailed to me because I had thrown it away And was told that it's not going to be offered to me. I have had my Home Depot credit card in good standing for 19 years and even have a credit card of over $200. Jessica (customer service rep) said that she was not going to be able to give me the 18 months same as cash. When I told her that the $3500 I was spending on appliances well now have to be spent at Lowe's... She was fine with that.. imagine... just.... Piss off lady! Home Depot makes so much money we can turn down thousands in sales just to be petty. ‍. Hardly seems like good business but Lowe's .... Here I come.
