He was a very hard worker and had good vibes. Even when the job took almost twice as long as he suspected, he didn't complain or try to charge me more. He just apologized that he was taking so long. It was a nice gesture, but it was unnecessary because I know how these sheds can be sometimes. But again, that was nice of him. Communication for scheduling was perfect as well. Which in my opinion is a vital aspect of providing a service. I would definitely hire him again. The property I stay on currently has upcoming projects in the future so I asked him if he could do this, and that. His response was funny as he said," it would be easier to tell you what I can't do" or something along those lines. It was quoted at ~$8k and after beginning the job that increased to ~$9k with an approved change order, which was fine. I would say the job began OK and Ethan did a fair job on the demo and framing. His detail work however was sloppy, leaving bad scratches all over the new tub. He tried to cover them but only made it worse. The tub will have to be reglazed to fix it. Moreover he or his sub installed the diverted incorrectly and we got a bid for $1340 to fix that. Really the worst part has been his unreliability and broken promises. Our tenant has given up so much time to be stood up, delayed, etc. We finally had no choice but to end the contract, and unfortunately we were nice enough to pay almost all of the contract in advance after he asked if we could help him to pay his guys. We are left holding the bag, which is our fault for paying him in advance when the job wasn't close to being done. I would run from this guy.

I hired Mr. Handyman to repair a small section of flashing along our roofline. The estimated cost…read moreof the repair was $400-$500 plus materials. The total cost for labor ended up coming in at $704 (including the $75 service charge) plus materials and disposal. When asked for a breakdown of the labor costs, Mr. Handyman only stated that four hours, fifteen minutes were spent on the project with no additional information. Very little of that time was spent at our home on the project (I would approximate an hour total) and I find it unsettling that Mr. Handyman can charge me for multiple hours of work that I did not see without a more thorough accounting of how that time was spent. Kynard was kind and did a good job, but due to billing practices and lack of proof of work, I will not be using Mr. Handyman again.
