Everyone else wanted a "consultation" or tried sending me to their website to fill out forms and schedule this and that. No time for that! Trieu actually showed up earlier than committed and changed out the valve efficiently and effectively. Here is the best part: I originally thought my main shutoff valve was malfunctioning too, so I had included that in the original quote request. When Trieu arrived, he actually tested the shutoff valve, demonstrated to me that it was working perfectly fine, and convinced me that it wasn't worth replacing. He took it right off the quote! Our house is 70 years old and we noticed cast iron pipes that seem to be deteriorating. We looked it up and their life rage is about 70 years so we bit the bullet and got estimates from 4 different companies. They all seemed good but Knockout offered some things the others did not. They offered a 25 year transferable warranty, they acquired and arranged for permits. They also put back the dry wall that they had to removed to do the job. The man that did the texturing did a great job. He matched the 70 year old texturing style that was in our family room. I was truly amazed. This sewer pipe replacement, grew to include all the water pipes, and then to replace the sewer line from the house to the street and unknown to use we had a second line that was leaking under our garage floor. This turned into a really really big job. It could have been a nightmare but it was not. Martin, Axil and the rest of the crew totally took care of us and our house. Every day I would receive an email telling me when they would be there to work or when an inspection was happening. They were the most cautious and careful of our house. They protected my floors, and carpet and walls. THEY NEVER LEFT A MESS EVER. I watched them clean, sweep and scrub down our driveway when they had used it as a work space. They were absolutely incredible. Clean, neat, work that was approved by the city and sewer department and great communication with us the entire time. Unfortunately, he knew he didn't have the part on hand, so it would have to be special ordered, which would take an additional day or two.
