His snow blower quit during the last storm, and TK made an appt to go and pick it up at his home. He completely forgot about it and was not there at the agreed upon time. When they called him to reschedule, and to explain he would be billed for the missed pickup, my brother was very unpleasant and hung up on them. Later, when I was paying his bills, I contacted TK to ask about the fee (I didn't know any of the above occurrence). I spoke with Steve who was very understanding and very kind. He understood the difficulty we are having, and the "awkward" stage between independence and losing freedom to manage things himself with dementia and he credited the fee back to us. I cant speak to their work - but I can speak to their humanity. I will speak highly of Steve's integrity and service to anyone who needs small engine repair!!

His report was boiler-plate copy/paste nonsense with pictures thrown in (90% of it was just pictures... thanks... I could have done that myself). On return visits (2!!) he basically did nothing but charged and got super rude about the whole thing. I have all emails, reports and bills to support this review if you're interested. Don't be intimidated as the entrance is industrial looking, but you can just pull in and park to the immediate right or left. There's room to swing a trailer, but it's not a Walmart parking lot. Walk up towards the shop and one of the guys will ask you what you're looking for. They are friendly and you can pick their brains a bit. Tell them what you are doing and what you are looking for and they will give you some options and some ideas. Great crew of guys, willing to work with you and help you out. It is a steel yard, so you need to be aware of your surroundings as there are steel bits and pieces everywhere, with fork lifts moving around and such. But as long as you respect where you are, the guys will treat you right. They will help you load what you are getting and they will make sure you are all set. I can't say that I have spent a lot of time shopping around pricing steel, but I will say that I have never had sticker shock at Goldstein's. The price they charged has always seemed to be reasonable, and much better than going to Lowe's or Home Depot, (the big box stores only sell limited lengths). But all in all I highly recommend going to Goldstein Steel for all of your steel needs. I've gone there for a small amount of box steel as well as for 4x8 sheets of diamond plate and more...never had any problems with the service or selection. It's a great steel yard.

I was highly dissatisfied with the "service" I received from Mainly Electrical. The renovation on…read moremy home was delayed by 5 months due to things being done incorrectly and untimely. They had a helper performing most of the work without oversight by a master electrician. I needed a 200 amp service done which required coordination with CMP. On the day this was scheduled, Mainly Electrical showed up unprepared and they were unwilling to dig the hole required to have the service done. This was rescheduled with CMP (after I found someone else to dig the hole). At this point it had rained. Once again, Mainly Electrical was not helpful. Rather than taking the time to pump out the water, they said they needed to schedule for a third attempt. I had to pump the water out myself to make sure there were no further delays. At the third attempt to get this done, Dom (the owner of the company) said that he couldnt complete the job and said there was something that needed to be fixed from CMPs end. Rather than waiting for CMP to arrive, he left. It was then discovered that there was a dead leg (something that should have been fixed by the electrician). Not once did Dom take accountability for any of this and continued to blame others for the issues not being resolved. At this point, I decided it was time to discontinue partnership with Mainly Electrical and hire a new electrician to get the job done. Within less than 30 minutes, the new electrician was able to complete the tasks needed for set up of our 200amp service. In addition to this, other electrical errors were discovered that then needed to be fixed. Regardless of this, I was still charged (and found out later I was overcharged). Due to his lack of communication, lack of sense of urgency, lack of accountability, and his unprofessionalism, I would never recommend Dom and his company for electrical needs (big or small). Save yourself the headache and hassle and look elsewhere.
