I had Golden State Propellor overhaul my Hartzel 80" prop for my Harmon Rocket 2 approx 200 hours…read moreago. The prop needed new seals misc other and the rear hub needed a bushing. Since the overhaul, which included a static balance, the prop has never turned so smooth through all RPM's from 2700 down to 2300. I've never seen a drop of grease on the prop and the prop is tight. I can't say enough good things about the the guys who did the overhaul. They explained everything required for the overhaul and performed the work in a timely manner with no surprises. Mark Neufeld

She made a wise comment that it's pretty much standard procedure. How am I supposed to know what standard procedure is, so that didn't even make any sense. I thought they were part of DMV. Very disappointed. I won't ever be using this service. What a waste of my time.

They did find a radio that worked so I did get that done. I needed a Smog certificate, so I started looking for a garage in town…read more I checked Yelp and sure enough I found a couple of places...Now like most of my reviews I was aware of this garage and I'd been by it a hundred times, they were always busy. Certainly the sign of a good place whether it's a restaurant, car repair or a bar. I linked onto the site and followed along until I found the spot to make a reservation. Now the question was asked "leave car" or I'll wait". I chose leave the car and no reservations were available for a few days so...I backed up and chose I'll wait an available times popped up for tomorrow... Okay tomorrow 9:45 that would work. I arrived for my appointment a bit early, Jaedon was in the office and he logged the car in and said he'd call when it was ready, cool. So I left to do my work out and walk and a couple hours later I saw the missed call and a text to pick up my car, wow. Now he had told me the service fee and I thought that was a bit high and yes that price included the smog certificate. Once I was back in the office, (they have a great little waiting room just behind the shop) Jaedon reviewed the inspection they had done on the car and the washed my car too. A good shop will wash your car, that was cool. Everything was in good order, the car passed the smog test. I ordered the filters and wiper blades that needed replacement from the big A and saved a couple bucks. WOW!! My car has…read morehad trouble starting for the past several months intermittently; we replaced the alternator, battery, terminal... caps? whatever holds it in place. And never a solution that lasted very long. We kept wondering if it was the starter, and our suspicions were confirmed after my car had issues starting again this morning. We were turned away from a different shop, but a quick call confirmed that Wimmer's could help us out. We arrived around 12:45 and ended up picking our car up at about 5pm - they were able to switch out the starter and complete an oil change, they even gave me a complimentary exterior wash! Altogether it ended up around $900 including the diagnostic and the VERY thorough multipoint inspection. I'm so appreciative of the whole team, they really hustled to make sure that we could have our car back before they closed and it truly means so much.

I just cannot believe they call themselves auto repair shop. Took my car home (still paid the smog even service not completed) took some online advice and reset the computer and after couple of weeks took to a different smog shop and it pass without issues at all.
