He documented everything with photos, reviewed all of the paperwork with me before loading the vehicles, and made sure I was comfortable with every step of the process. What really stood out was his follow-through. He told us he would let us know when the vehicles were picked up by the long-haul carrier, and after two weeks in storage, he did exactly that. Just got a car out of the shop, and within 2 weeks, the darn thing is down again. Was able to go to Toyota in Santa Maria but got blown off there.Did not have a local tow for long distance, so I was then contacted by SLO tow. This is the best tow truck company I have dealt with. Michael arrived within 15 minutes and did a great job loading up my 74 corvette. This car is low to the ground and fully restored he arrived in a nice large flat bed tow truck, placed wood down to keep the approach angle good and make sure nothing rubbed on the car. He had to take my car almost 200 miles and did so with a great mood. He arrived in a timely manner in a great mood. Very nice tow truck driver great experience for having a broke down car. So you never want to HAVE to call these guys, but if you do, then you are in good hands. My car took the proverbial crap on my way to a wedding...needless to say I didn't quite make it. Having a flat tire without a spare while traveling with entire family is stressful enough, but this tow company turned things around nicely. Sean drove us to our hotel 62 miles into town, then brought our car to tire store for service, then took me back to the hotel, all while we had great chats throughout the trip. San Luis Obispo Towing came to the rescue after a very long week of breakdowns for my Volvo XC-90. This was the 2nd break of my cv axle replacement in less than a tank of gas. I was lucky on my first break as I was able to drive to the auto repair shop in Fresno. After spending 2 nights in a Covid-19 limited hotel while the shop replaced my axle with an after market part, we made it to Yosemite for 2 nights. On our way home, my new cv axle replacement part broke again! Again, I was lucky to find a large pullout on HWY 41 before the grade into Morro Bay. I called my insurance roadside assistance and got lucky again! Third time's the charm! (meaning after two painful events, this was a good event) After arrival, we worked as a team to get my XC-90 on the reliable and newer looking truck (see attached photos) and delivered to my assigned delivery point within 30 minutes! My car broke down about 40 miles outside of Cambria on Highway 1. No cell service, had to borrow a phone to call AAA and get a ride to Gorda. My guy was outstanding. My '08 Jaguar had the break stuck and I couldn't get it to move forward or backward. He was able to free the wheels and get it on the carrier for its trip to Santa Barbara for repair. Some way in the process the keys to the Jag got switched with my others car. TOTALLY MY FAULT!!! so incompetent and unprofessional. I paid this company to tow my car to a dealership that I prearranged everything with to replace my dead battery. First, the tow truck guy was creepy and giggling that I was in shorts when I met him at my car. Then this dude took my car to the dealerships service department parked it in a parking spot behind the building and locked the keys inside and did not inform ANYONE at the service department where the car was and that was confirmed by the man I spoke with on the phone with his exact words "he didn't let anyone know the car was there, which is weird because he was suppose to". Now I'm pissed and ad to wait a whole 48 hours to get a simple battery changed due to the incompetence of this company to execute simple tasks. read more
