The next day we used the self service dog wash on two of my other dogs. While the self service tubs are aged they were clean. They offered to supply the bath condiments and towels. The towel we used was clean if old, the type you would use at home. The staff was consistently friendly and while attentive they were not intrusive. The cost was well worth the visit as the grooming was only 50.00 for my small dog and they gave a free use of the dog wash station for our first time visit. It was a pleasant experience with the business, however my husky and Australian shepherd's behavior left a bit to be desired.

My cat had some symptoms and I was very concerned about getting her seen today (Friday). I was…read moregoing out of town on Saturday morning and I needed to make sure she was OK. My REGULAR VET's office closes at 5:30 on Fridays. I drove over there and they were closed and I felt angry. I called the office and the voice mail said the close at 5:30. I was angry because I was so worried and felt they should have left a voice message indicating they were closed. I knew about WALKER VETERINARY HOSPITAL from some friends of mine. They've always had good results there so I drove over there at 3:45. I had an no appointment, but they were very, very nice and said we'll take care of you and kitty. A very kind and helpful vet tech, Janelle, took me back to the room. She was very knowledgeable, she asked me questions and I explained my kitty symptoms. My cat really liked her. She was super gentle. The veterinarian came and examined my kitty and asked me all sorts of questions, Janelle came back with a list of tests. She explained each of the tests again and costs. There were a few I didn't think necessary at this point because I wanted to see what the results of the bloodwork would be, and I felt no pressure or judgment about my decision. My cat was still eating and drinking normally. When I was done, Janelle came back and walked me out to the front and gave me some more information. I have to say during my whole experience with Janelle , she was very lighthearted and friendly. Everyone I came in contact with at the office was friendly and I felt confident in Walker Vet's expertise. Debbie

They are always friendly and seem to really care about the animals. In fact we moved all our dogs from a vet in Manteca to Walker in Stockton even though we now need to drive 30 min to get there! Worth the miles for such a great vet hospital. They also have grooming services!
