The staff at this store are always super helpful and friendly, especially two of the cashiers who we have most certainly deemed our "favorite CVS pal" and "other favorite CVS pal" when mentioning them to one another at home. I simply asked " would I be able to pick up my medication at 9:00 before I went in to work? I will not be able to get there after work today. (My script had been dropped off several days prior). The person on the phone said "well if you get here at 9 and it's not ready then I guess you'll have to wait. You're not the only one who needs their prescription filled." I'm not? Thank you for that enlightening information. Here I thought I was the only one in Schenectady county who needed to get a prescription filled. Her comment was unprovoked and uncalled for. And even if I had been rude to her, she has no right to make any comment. It's their job to fill prescriptions, not to give unnecessary feedback. There a are a few pleasant folks present in that store but from what I've witnessed, they're few and far between. I think these folks would better serve the public by working night shift in a hospital pharmacy where there is limited interaction with human beings.

Staff have always been quick, friendly, and helpful, including the one pharmacist I've interacted with. Parking is aplenty and they have their own parking lot. Aisles are wide and clean, and the store is divided into four sections: pharmacy, checkout/customer service, medication and medical equipment, and food and beverages. I hope they keep up the great work. I wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend this store.

They were always out of stock so they suggested the one on Balltown which I realized also had issues so I went to Wallgreen's because they were the only ones that had what I was looking for. It was a controlled substance and yet they told me on the phone they had it. I had my Dr change my pharmacy to Wallgreen's on Eastern Ave. Please don't close Wallgreen's.

We occasionally patronize this CVS when the one closer to home is out of some prescription or other…read morethe kids need, and my experiences here have been pretty much identical every time: (1) I get very prompt and courteous service from the pharmacy staff when I go up to the counter to drop off the Rx. (2) They get distracted by the drive-in pharmacy window because they're understaffed and as is the case with every place everywhere with a drive-thru, the drive-thru customers somehow get priority over the ones who have managed to walk in. (3) Nevertheless the staff do their best and I'm pleased, if a bit delayed, by the pharmacy service. I get a chance to count the stains on the carpet in the waiting area, which is always a good time. (4) I am accosted by somebody leaving (or going in; or both) in the parking lot. You can definitely call this a mixed experience. I think my takeaway here is to use the drive-thru service to avoid (2) and (4). You might consider doing the same.

Staff have always been helpful when we needed them, and this store has comparable inventory and pricing to some other CVS stores we've been to. There are two self checkout kiosks, and parking has not been an issue as they have plenty of spaces in their own lot.

However, I had photo prints made there this week. The quality was so poor, they were unacceptable. Blurred, poor color, and weird positioning were evident in the CVS same day photo prints. They were unacceptable. How do I know it was their printing process and not my skills as a photographer? I had the same prints made by Printique Photo this week, and they are outstanding in color and clarity. Their prints look amazing. Their prices were similar for outstanding prints that I will be proud to frame and share with family. I will never use CVS photo printing ever again. As someone who worked for this company for a long time, I'm surprised what's allowed to go on at…read morethis store from a basic customer-focused perspective. For example, although I understand there are no bags available at the self checkout lines, it's very strange to me that there are no reusable bags available for purchase either. Also, it appears they took away all the shopping baskets, forcing customers to use carts, probably to push people into spending more money...but absolutely at the expense of the convenience they claim to provide. Then there's the layout of the store, which is extreme crammed. The produce section is especially jammed, providing limited avenues for customers to actually get through it, then the entire back of the store is filled with displays, making it incredibly challenging to navigate even on a day when it isn't busy. Overall, avoid, just go to Hannford.

I guess I'm the dummy for going back, but on several occasions I've opened "fresh" meat and seafood from here and it stunk up an entire room. I can't even return what I got yesterday because I thought I could wash the stink off. Nope its just spoiled.
