Avoid KSC Properties and Kristen at all costs…read more We rented a home managed by KSC Properties (owner: Kristen) for one year. From the beginning there was an obvious conflict of interest: Kristen represented the owners while her employee acted as our "tenant advocate" showing the property. It felt misleading from day one. Throughout the lease, the owners refused to make any repairs despite repeated requests. When the year was up, they suddenly sold the property without ever communicating with us about renewal options--even after we reached out multiple times. Kristen, who was supposed to represent the owners, completely ignored our emails and never once stepped in to help or even respond. At move-out, the owners tried to withhold $1,100 from our security deposit with questionable charges. To make matters worse, the refund check they finally sent bounced. I had to take them to small claims court to recover my own money. This was one of the most stressful rental experiences we've ever had. Between the unresponsive property manager (Kristen), the neglectful owners, and the hot check, I would never rent from or trust KSC Properties again. Thankfully, we have now moved into a new home managed by an entirely different company and couldn't be happier. The difference is night and day--responsive management, quick repairs, honest communication, and zero drama. It really showed us just how awful KSC Properties and these owners truly were. Steer clear. There are honest, professional property managers out there--KSC is not one of them. Update to Kristens reply!! You're reply is not true! Btw, the lease was incomplete and you did not disclose owners information, address and any means of contacting them other than a phone #. That's not legal. We later found out through courts. You we're sure there to sale the home and furnished it within 2 days of moving out. You may not have managed the property and we did not request repairs, through you, you are correct. That's not your fault and never said it was. You you reprensted crooks and the night we came to pick up Keys so we could move in. YOU and your employee and the owners were there to do a walk'-thru. There was still a garage and backyard full of their stuff and we had to move in that way and live with that for 4 days. Plus no heat for a week. We do blame you as well, you had more to do with the property then just find tenants. You drew up lease, your company name all over it, you did walk through of property and then when we needed your help you were no where to be found but you sure could be found 2 days after we moved out, staging their property! Not to add property was misrepresentsented. We had no pool or spa a week after we moved in, for 3 months. Right there, devalues the property by $600 bucks! I could go on and on. This review was way overdo. I don't trust you and no one else should!!!
