Dr. Resh reached out to discuss everything with us. He took responsibility for the level of care my son received at Hanover Dental Care, and has taken steps to help alleviate the burden our family has faced due to this unfortunate situation. While I still am frustrated that our family has had to face significant struggles to get my son back to proper oral health, I am forever thankful that Dr. Resh treated us with respect, and ensured that the situation was taken care of. The office has assured me that steps will be taken to ensure this type of failure never happens again. **ORIGINAL REVIEW** Hanover Dental Care neglected to provide adequate preventative and diagnostic care for my 6.5 year old son over the course of the past three years. Despite coming in every 6 months for preventative dental care, per the recommendations of the American Dental Association ... and per the coverage allowance of our dental insurance, my son was neglected, and left without proper dental treatments. Hanover Dental Care's complete disregard for my son's oral health led to an emergency visit with a pediatric dentist, who then urgently referred us to an oral surgeon, who IMMEDIATELY scheduled my son for a sedated surgical extraction of three baby teeth that were left to rot and decay in his mouth. Due to this office's complete and utter neglect in the diagnosis of several large cavities, and the lack of appropriate treatment of those cavities, we are now paying thousands of dollars out of pocket, and are forced to schedule our son for multiple sedation dentistry treatments in order to preserve his teeth. read more

As a preface, I am a senior citizen that has dealt with dentists all of my life. I have never had a problem until Dr. Kwiatkowski retired and I started at Hanover Dental. My first procedure was over 4 hours in the chair to remove a bridge, the assistant poked and prodded and poked and prodded, i was bleeding heavily, we took an impression for a new bridge, she made a temporary bridge, the first time i bit on it it broke, she had to make another temp. this was an assistant, not the dentist. One of my front teeth became a problem, Dr. Haugh insisted on a crown, ok, we did a crown, 6 months later the tooth broke off at the gum line, this is a front tooth, not a chewing tooth, he says there is nothing he can do, and he refused to do the oral surgery, I had to go to an oral surgeon, they refunded my money for the crown but now I have lost a front tooth and I need to pay to get some sort of replacement. I stopped going to Hanover Dental, Dr. Haugh, I had more than enough of him. My new dentist has informed me that the new bridge that Dr. Haugh made for me is loose, the anchor tooth is leaking and it needs to be removed, if he can't get it loose he will need to cut it off. Now I need a new bridge, maybe new crowns, maybe a partial, more money. I complained to Hanover Dental regarding the defective bridge, no reply, no offer for any financial assistance, nothing. read more

The dentists and assistants at this place do great work, however.... The office manager at the front desk that insists on holding you hostage till your bill is paid no matter what the circumstances is completely ridiculous. I unknowingly had an issue with an FSA/HSA card being placed on hold, she refused to let me call them later after it was addressed (because i had to get back to work) to pay the bill saying that "we have people that tell us that and stick us with the bill" and had to use bill money to pay the bill and then wait for Ameriflex to reimburse me, which you know puts you behind, then costs you a late fee. I get the point you want paid but I think its illegal to hold someone hostage the way you do. You are a business if you cant handle or are not prepared to lose some money, you probably shouldn't be in business. I had every intention of making the payment, just needed to time to fix the card. read more

I highly recommend Dr Haugh and his staff. I was new to the area and just decided to keep my dentist in MD, who I had seen for the last 15 years. One day, I woke up with excruciating tooth pain. My regular dentist couldn't get me in at all that week, so I decided to call this new practice close to my home. They were able to get me in within 3 hours. The pain was resolved that day. I scheduled a cleaning for a month later and then had to have some more in depth work done. It was easy and pain-free. I had another dental emergency a few weeks later (Christmas week) and they were again able to get me right in the same day to fix it. My daughter and husband both now have cleanings scheduled with them based on my good experiences. I can't recommend them enough. read more

Whenever I'm chatting with friends about dentists, I always tell them how much I love Hanover Dental Care. I recommend them highly! I've been a patient since 2019. I've had to have a lot of work done over the years, and I often feel anxious when I go to the dentist. I realized the other day I don't feel as anxious anymore because I feel so well-cared for here, so I wanted to leave a review. They always make sure that I am comfortable and that I know what is going on. They're also extremely kind people--every single one of them, from the front desk to the assistants to Dr. Justin himself. I love this office and I don't dread my dental appointments anymore.
