Flanagan only had two (recommended and) positive reviews. I got a quote over the phone and later by email. I ended up going with Flanagan for their price first. I now own two properties in Ohio, and they are both insured through Flanagan. I have had a number of policy questions come up since I first became a customer, as has also happened with my other properties. But unlike with some other insurers, Flanagan is always prompt in their replies, on the point, and as I just learned, will not try to upsell even when you ask them whether you need additional coverage - but will tell you what you need, even if not from them/to their own benefit. While they are also licensed in some other states, I only wish they were licensed in those where I have other properties. At least I know I am in good hands (I hope it's not a trademark) in Ohio.

The trip cost each of us over $12,000 each with upgraded rooms on a river cruise. Our upcoming trip will have 2 of us flying in the morning and 2 in the afternoon even though this was a 4 person trip overseas all together. she finally booked our transportation from hotels to the ship and so on after 9 months of us calling and texting to get it straightened out. some of the hotel rooms were not even booked until recently. it's been a total nightmare and I hope that the 4 of us will eventually meet and share the same ship and hotel rooms once we get there. I have never flown overseas and had hoped the group could help me navigate through it but it looks like I'm doing that on my own now

She was NOT cited by the Highway Patrol, the OTHER driver was, and yet they said that it was my daughters fault. So I took it for what it was worth but then I found out earlier this year that the other driver made $16000 in claims against my insurance (my daughter was covered on my policy at the time) and I was NEVER told. So I have been paying higher rates because I never go the chance to dispute the other drivers claims, i.e. she claimed she had a lot of injuries and that her car had a lot of damage and in both cases these were lies. Both cars were driveable and EMS was never called. There are too many other reputable insurance companies out there that won't try to screw you over like this place does. BEWARE!
