I wish I had listened to the previous reviews…read more There are serious issues with how this grooming business is run, starting with their outdated scheduling system. Everything--from appointments to pet details--is handwritten, which looks unprofessional and feels disorganized. It's clear they're in desperate need of a digital overhaul. But worse than the disorganization was the experience my dog (and I) had during our visit. Here's what happened: * 9:00 AM: I dropped off my dog for her scheduled grooming appointment. I was told I'd receive a call when she was ready. * 12:34 PM: I hadn't heard anything, so I called to check in and confirm they had my correct number (given their handwritten system). I was told they were fully booked and that someone would call me--but no update was given on where she was in the process, or if she had even been started. * 2:30-2:45 PM: After talking to friends and confirming that waiting over 5 hours with no updates was unreasonable, I decided to go get my dog. * Around 2:50 PM: I arrived--not because I was called, but because my dog had now been there nearly SIX hours. When I asked for her, I was told she wasn't ready and that I needed to pay before they would release her. * I requested a discount, as I had just been told she was only partially groomed. The staff said they couldn't approve that. * 2:55 PM: I paid the full grooming fee of $51.50 for incomplete service just to get my dog back. She now has to be taken to another groomer to finish the job, particularly her face and possibly other areas that were left undone. This experience left me deeply concerned--not just as a customer, but as a pet owner. Grooming can be stressful for pets, and leaving a small dog kenneled for six hours without a potty break is unacceptable. There was no communication, no apology, and no accommodation for the delay or incomplete service. This raises several serious questions: * Why are they booking more appointments than they can reasonably handle? * Why charge full price for only partial service? * Why keep dogs kenneled for hours on end when proper scheduling and staffing could prevent that? My dog--and all dogs--deserve better care than this. 0/10. I do not recommend. Response to owners response: Her response tells me exactly what I needed to know about doing business here. Exaggerate, embellish, accuse, and fail to mention anything that matters.

This can obviously stress out the cats. Also, when I drop my cat off they leave her on the ground right in the waiting area. One time I asked how my cat did and the owner said she was a b**ch. I mean, stuff like that you don't say to your customers and that's very unprofessional. Even if my cat was mean, it could have been said in a different way. Also, when I said I felt uneasy, it's because I felt like thy were mean to my cat. Anyways, I am sooo very happy and relieved to not go back to this place anymore. (I wasn't going to anyway.) I found an actual vet place that is award winning and offers cat grooming services. They charge more but it's worth every penny to have peace of mind for me and my fur baby.

Google reviews are giving this place a 4.6 star rating and all I want to do is WARN people please DO NOT take any of your furbabies here! A friend of mine took their doodle and their sweet baby came home with a terrible haircut, BUT I wish I could say that is all their furbaby came home with but unfortunately their sweet dog also came home with gashes and cuts all over his body!! To top it all off, these incompetent people will not answer any calls or texts from my friends regarding this heartbreaking situation! My friends dog is now traumatized, withdrawn, very anxious, and visibly shaken from how he was treated by these people. Animals do not have a voice to take up for themselves. We have to be their voices. So I am taking a stand and posting this review. These people are HORRIBLE and need to have their licensure REVOKED! Pet parents, beware! And please DO NOT TAKE YOUR FURBABIES TO THESE PEOPLE!!!

What we love most about Bestland is that our young, energetic pudelpointer doesn't simply spend…read moretime at daycare while we work--Rigby gets to enjoy a full day of his own. He plays with other dogs, splashes in puppy pools, and soaks up the kind of social interaction and exercise he craves. He also tackles agility equipment without hesitation, despite acting at home as though climbing onto the couch unassisted is beyond his physical capabilities. The Bestland team knows Rigby's personality and play style, what he needs socially and physically, and even who his favorite playmates are. We love hearing about what he and his friends get into together throughout the day. Rigby is definitely a dog's dog, but he is every bit as excited to greet the Bestland team as he is to see his dog friends. It's clear that they see the same silly, sweet dog we do at home. There is something reassuring about knowing they genuinely enjoy all the quirky things that make him Rigby. Their Instagram videos give us regular glimpses into this whole little life Rigby has at Bestland with people and pups who know him. It's also funny to watch him engage in activities he has little interest in at home--like playing in the very nice puppy pool we bought specifically for him. Rigby is always VERY excited to go to Bestland. He knows the daycare-morning routine better than we do and is quite strict about making sure we adhere to it. He follows us around the house while we get ready, eagerly wiggles into his harness when it's time to go, and heads straight to the door in anticipation of his customary pup cup on the drive from Cartersville. He knows the exact turn off the highway when we're getting close. Then the window has to come down so he can announce his excitement the rest of the way there. And Rigby comes home exactly the way we want him to--adorably exhausted and content. While we work, he has a daytime outlet for all his young-dog energy, and we get to spend our evenings with the sleepy, snuggly version of Rigby. He is noticeably more settled throughout the week and still has plenty of enthusiasm for weekend adventures with us. We appreciate the practical aspects of Bestland, too, like being able to add a bath when he needs one. It also gives us peace of mind knowing that if we go out of town, Rigby can stay somewhere he already knows and loves. Bestland has become part of Rigby's world, and that may be the best thing we can say about it. At Bestland, he has his own people, his own dog friends, and a whole lot of fun waiting for him. There, he gets to be completely, enthusiastically Rigby.
