Although I asked for a spot close to the bathroom, (glad I didn't get one) the road to the spot I was headed to was being graded as we entered. The camp was half empty and many concrete pads were available, I was given a gravel one. We have traveled across the country and this was then worst camp we have ever been to, we won't be back, would have been better if we just pulled into a truck stop on I-70. Without working restrooms, I thought I. MIght have been offered a refund, but won't be back and I hope others find this helpful.

As soon as we pulled into the park our pressure valve on our propane tank gave way and we needed help. We had our tank filled before leaving home and the person evidently did not do it properly. Thanks to 3 men at the RV Park they came to our rescue. Can't thank them enough to spend most of their evening relieving the pressure in the tank and getting us back to being safe until we could get a new pressure regulator for our propane tank. We came for Oktoberfest in Hermann and it was a great distance for that. Just off the freeway access was super easy. Making the arrangements was super easy and they communicated well. Sites were a bit tight. But plenty of room to feel private. There is a pool, but we didn't use it. It looked clean and inviting. Looks like they are going to have a fun "fright fest" next weekend.

His cabins were clean, warm and had a coffee pot (a total Godsend) with clean sheets, towels and even a stovetop. This is certainly a sapphire hiding in the woods. My kids both were saying how much they loved the cabin. I appreciate the kindness of the owner who saw a lady with two kids and her husband en route without a place to stay for the night and you helped out. I will recommend this place to everyone.

Customer service! I was treated extremely rudely!…read moreWe arrived at 12:00 and the gentleman at the counter was going to charge us a $15 early check in fee. He said check-in was at 1:00 pm. We travel every year ( going between 18 states and 18 different rv parks) and have Never been told we were too early, if the space was available. He was very condescending and exhibited an aggressive attitude and said he knew 3,000 other campgrounds and they all had an early check in fee. We have been to this rv park several times, over the last four years, and it has always been one of our favorites. I have never been treated like this. This will be the last time we stay here! The icing on the cake is, my husband is a Vietnam Vet, and for him to be treated so disrespectful, on this memorial day weekend, is abhorrent.
