We just had the most lovely Labor Day weekend at Timber Ridge Lodge. The owners were engaging and fun- super hard working. My kids loved staying here! They argued over who got to go to the office to get the ice every morning so they could say "HI" to the owners!

We stayed in a beautifully appointed room in the Rackheath House and had a lovely stay for a cool fall weekend. The inn is really perfect, the breakfast is delicious, the service is very helpful and the grounds are very nice. Plus, they have a wonderful little shop selling their own meats, eggs, and hand-crafted jewelry. Simply put - Overlook Farms is doing something great in Clarksville!

Upon entry I was assaulted by intense air freshener, uncompleted cheap floor that isn't even trimmed and is a tripping hazard, and gaudy decor which only got worse as I entered my room. Mismatched and cheap furnishings. Dirty! Mold, ceiling tiles falling down, swollen and dropping yuck. Circa 1970's cheap, cheesy decor. Ugly plastic "flowers" (some falling down). Ugly, old gross furniture. "kitchen" made of particle board, cheap and gross, complete with mice droppings. Old, worn-out furniture. Most rooms share bathrooms in the hallways. My room had a bathroom that was so gross with 1970-ish fake tiled shower/tub that I could not bring myself to use. Beligerant owner/manager who does not take criticism well! Owner entered my and a friends' rooms without out knowledge or consent--not ok! I was escorted out via police under threat of jailing for "trespassing" (room was fully paid for). This due to my complaints and anger over all of the above. Do not b believe the 5 star review; it is clearly a fake! Gross, disgusting, nasty, there is absolutely nothing positive to say! I would have taken photos but under police escort this was not possible. This place needs to be completely redone, there is zero space in good repair of the 2 floors that I saw. Owner tried to take and photograph my driver's license, in anger towards me; I'm the one who could have pressed charges!

I can't say how great it was and a god send when we needed a temporary place to stay while our sewer and plumbing was being replaced. If you are looking for a great stay and great prices this is the place to go.
