This is one of those places that used to be good and then it was taken over by some very lazy people. I went into the office and I was treated like an uninvited guest. The showers are ill equipped. Nothing is maintained. Don't even consider this place. read more

We were traveling through the area yesterday and decided to stop at the campground for a quick overnight stay. We pulled around to the check in office around 630 and discovered the office was closed. We called the number with no answer and then went to the office to see if there were late check in directions. Unfortunately there were not. There were multiple sites open so we decided to pull through a spot right next to the office so we could pay in the morning. After pulling through a man on a gator pulled up to us yelling and raising his hands aggressively "we are closed!" Alarmed by his reaction we left. I've never encountered a more rude campground interaction. We won't be back ever which is too bad bc the grounds are very nicely kept. Please add a sign "absolutely no late checks ins without a reservation " so u don't have to yell at anyone else. read more

Had to cancel due to heavy storms. No refunds but management sure called to confirm cancellation so that they could book the site again. Not a fair business practice. read more

This is the third year we have met with our group of friends and camped here for Friendsgiving. The first year we were treated like family members and every year it's better. We love this camp ground and will stay here every chance we get. read more

We found this location online as we were traveling back from indiana and it was in the general area we wanted to stop. As these things go, we were arriving later than planned. But the staff were so helpful, gave us a great spot and clear instructions. We were out early the next morning. The only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. This was one of the nicest, well kept campgrounds we have stayed at. It is clear that they care and they have a sense of humor too (given the decorations in the bathroom). Its on our list to stop again if we are in the area. read more

We thought we had a reservation but when we got there we found out that booking it online we had forgotten to click that last button that actually makes the reservation. They were very accommodating and we were lucky they had a spot for us. This is a wonderful campground very well maintained, far enough off the highway that it's quiet, there was an huge thunder and lightning storm that literally shook the trailer. Restrooms and laundry were very clean and the decor is fun. Lazy Day goes on our favorite list. read more

After going on a vacation from California to Nashville for a wedding and trying to stay ahead of the storms 2024 May. Exhausted driving our motorhome and towing the truck we goggle to find an RV RESORT with full hookups, pull thru parking, and like a lady laundry facility. OMG so delighted great quiet, hot showers, GREAT STAFF, very clean and the rules whoever wrote these love it. Thank you from Ronnie and Betty Eddy wish we lived closer. We had a nice, one night stay at Lazy Day. Easy access off I-70, yet in a quiet and peaceful setting. I did not enter any of the buildings around the grounds, but the grounds themselves were obviously well maintained and cared for. Full hookups available and many spaces are pull-throughs. It is a hilly area, so some spaces may have issues with leveling your RV. read more

On a recent trip we were fortunate enough to be able to stay at Lazy Days campground on our way to and from Kansas. I wish our travels would have allowed us to stay more than 1 night for each stay. The owners are wonderful!! and the campground is impeccably maintained. We had an issue with our RV and the owners graciously loaned us a ladder early, in the morning, so we could make repairs to our roof. We will definitely be returning to Lazy Days and will make sure to stay longer. read more

From the beginning this 4 day/ 3 night trip was unforgettable! We were met like VIP's after hours at the entrance and escorted to our site. The grounds are pristine, with privacy galore! Owners were more than accomodating, and there's not one thing I can say that needs improvement, just keep it up! You'll love this place just off the interstate, but far enough away to not hear it. Within 5 minutes of Graham Cave and 1.5 miles from the interstate, you're reach from here is abundant. You won't regret staying here, so get to it! read more

This RV / camp ground is a hidden gem. We called last minute to stay a night. The owners we able to get us in and we ended up staying for 2 nights. The grounds were clean and staff super friendly. We travels with our dog and the dog park was one of the better ones we have seen. We will be back!!! read more

We only stayed for one night, but we are already planning on coming back to enjoy the campground for longer. We arrived after check in and were still met by Nancy when we arrived so she could show us to our site. Very well kept grounds, lots of room, and a great dog park! We didn't get a chance to check out the lake, but the shower facilities were fantastic. Overall a great first impression and we are definitely looking forward to visiting again! read more

This is a fantastic camping facility. It is neat and the hosts are very helpful. I am traveling across the USA and had an issue with my slide and they attempted to help me at the campground. When that didn't work, they directed me to a local RV service place and directed me how to get there using service roads, rather than the highway. I'm back again on my way back home. I wish this was closer to my home in the state of WA. My dog also loves their dog park read more

We are trying to get across the country quickly as we have to meet our household goods. So we have not planned out stops because we just try and get as far as we can. As we were driving I started to google search on the map and found Lazy Day Campground. They had good reviews and it sounded nice so I called. Nancy was fantastic, she was so nice and quickly got us all set for the night. When I mentioned we were military she made our day even better. We never know what to expect and when you come after hours it can be confusing...but when you pulled in it was beautiful, clean, quiet and everyone was so friendly. We got set up-the sites are as advertised they are level and large and nicely kept. The next morning we were able to meet Nancy and she was even nicer in person and helped us with propane. This campground had a lot for my son too-a pond, field games and just nice area for him to walk. We are so happy we found this gem not too far from St Louis! read more

It's fine but there was only Wi-Fi for like 10 minutes then it went out and it was not in the settings app when I tried looking for it. That really frustrated me and I am still not able to connect. I have to use my cell data which is running out and doesn't work well even though there's excellent service here. I really considered giving this a one or two star review but I decided that most here was fine. Overall, excellent place if you have friends to talk to or if you don't want internet, but otherwise I would look for a better place. read more

This may very well be the best campground we've been to on our journey across country and back. The grounds were really beautiful, clean, well kept. The owners checked us in and showed us to our spot, helped us get parked just right and brought the firewood that we purchased over to us and stacked it next to the fire pit that was provided. Level sites that were well thought out and landscaped beautifully. We did not use any of their facilities, so I cannot speak to that, but do know that they have laundry/shower. Also a very well stocked office if you need snacks or any other necessities. There was a fenced in dog area too. We weren't traveling with our dogs but will definitely be back to this spot when we do. You can just tell that this couple really cares about and takes pride in their business. If you've never been to Lazy Day Campground in Danville/Montgomery City, MO (@2 1/2 hours NW of St. Louis), we Highly recommend a visit. Great pull-through sites that can easily accommodate 45' + stacker; exceptionally reasonable rates (that were not jacked up Post-Covid-19); a beautiful pool, excellent fire pits and pure burning wood available. Incredible gardens, flowers, two stocked lakes - for kids/grandkids' to fish. Very few bugs (especially considering the nearly 2' of rain this past month...@twice normal rainfall). Friendly, pleasant, humorous and welcoming owners - with great people stopping by daily! Convenient to I-70, yet quiet/peaceful and tucked amongst magnificent shade trees (kept cleanly trimmed away from all campers/campsites). A quaint little store, two great clubhouses for cooking your meals and family/friend gatherings & honoring our Hero Veterans of the past. Pet friendly with a large park for your fur children. Close to Hermann, MO and it's Lovely and delicious wineries. Do yourself and family a favor and get away to a piece of Paradise. You'll be glad you did! read more

This R.V. campground is one of the nicest ones we've been to. This was our second time visiting Lazy Days and our experience was, once again, fabulous. The grounds are very well maintained, the owners are helpful, friendly, & care about their property/business. I believe all the sites are pull-through and hookups are in great condition. The lake on the property is great size for fishing! There is a nice sized dog park (we don't have any dogs, but it seemed that people were enjoying it). We were passing through and made a reservation here. We hit a bunch of traffic and bad weather which set our check in time back late. Called the campground to tell them we were running very late and they were so helpful! The woman we spoke to sent us a map and explained how to get to our site. The bathrooms were very clean and organized. Everyone here was so friendly and very accommodating. We just wish we had longer time to enjoy the amenities, but we were just passing through and only stayed one night. Will definitely keep this campground on our list of favorites! read more

The owners/operators are the best! The shop has some really cute items. The people are so very helpful. This last month was our second time staying here and we've definitely decided to make it a yearly thing if possible. We just love this place in the spring. The park is easy to maneuver, it is extremely well kept. Full hook-ups available. Wifi Included. Dog park is spacious and maintained. Facilities are clean and roomy. The owners are always working on the land. Its amazing. Great price for the month stay too. This was our 2nd stay here and once again, it was perfect. Excellent customer service, beautiful well maintained park. We called for reservations and they returned our call promptly. The area around the park is hilly so many sites are terraced to make it easier to level. The transient sites are long and wide. Hookups are convenient. We didn't use the restrooms, laundry or wifi. The huge dogpark was loved by our dogs. The park owners are doing everything right to make their customer feel welcome and cared for. I wished we could've stayed longer than an overnight. This would be a perfect place to rest for a few days, maybe visit some of the wineries in the area. Will definitely return. read more

We have stayed here several times and I just can't say enough about this place. It's wonderful. The owners are very hands on and good people. If you need something, they make it happen. The place is very clean and well maintained. The shower house and bathrooms are very clean. There are 'outdoor' movies and family activities in the summer as well as two clubhouses, and a nice pool. This is one of the nicest rv parks we've stayed at. It was beautifully maintained. The pool was nice and well taken care of. The lady and gentleman in the office were very pleasant. They have a very large off leash dog area too. So nice for the dogs to get out and stretch their legs after traveling 600 miles a day for 3 days. This place is nicer than some of the rv "resorts" we've stayed at in the past. We only stayed one night since we were on our way to Tennessee, but if we lived around the area I would want to come here all the time. read more

Wonderful camp site with easy access from the interstate without the noise of traffic. Nice pull through sites all rocked with fire pits and picnic tables. Every site had a nice view and felt spacious. Exceptionally clean, well appointed facilities to enjoy. Pool, horseshoes, Landry facilities and pet friendly.
