I had such a wonderful experience here last weekend. I booked an hour foot massage for my sister and I. The hour went so fast, and I was sad when my time was up. Sunni was exceptional and I loved every minute of my session. My sister had Yen (?) and she also loved her massage. The price for an hour is only $50 and worth every penny. They charged me 2% ($2) to use my card and I was fine with that. I made the appointment over the phone with Eva and she was so sweet. Our appointment was followed up with a confirmation text. They are located outside the mall in the Tijuana Taxi plaza, near the intersection of Atlantic and University. They are very professional and it is a clean establishment with red massage tables that seem like chaise lounges. They all have very clean looking sheets in them so I assume that they are washed between uses. I heard the washing machine going very silently during my massage. They put your feet in a plastic bucket lined with a plastic bag that has some warm water in it and then they dry them before the massage. They spray some what I imagine is alcohol although it didn't seem to have a smell and then they massage with lotion and finish with hot towels. They briefly touch on your shoulders and back. I had a stamp card which was good for a free half hour but the lady at the reception desk told me that it wasn't valid because she said it was from when the establishment was called Han Ting. Apparently now it's called Han Ting. Yes, you read that correctly. Sign still the same, but apparently they have changed ownership so nothing is valid anymore, including gift cards. I call Som Ting Wong. I was a little annoyed that they wouldn't accept my card because it takes a while to get it filled. So I must mention that the woman at the front had no facial expressions and never smiled. The rest of the visit was better than the visit with the receptionist. I didn't bother getting a stamp on the new cards she had because I'll probably try somewhere else next time due to the fact that they didn't honor my "old card" and I was buying three foot massage today. read more

I found a Groupon for a 30 min foot massage for $18. I came here with a friend for some much needed girl time. This place is easy to find located on the other end of the Tijuana Taxi plaza with the title "Foot Massage," in big green letters. We entered and were greeted by the lady at the desk who was very friendly, who was busy checking out two other guests. Places like this usually don't get too busy but for the crowd that was inside getting massages, along with those paying up front? at 2pm on a Weekday, it must be worth a try! We waited a few minutes before being led in the massage room. The massage chairs and tables were in a row all the way down, with dimly lit lights, an amber salt lamp next to each, and soft music playing in the background. My massage was great. We first placed our feet in a tub of warm water while we were getting a shoulder and neck massage, and then sat on the other end with our feet up for the whole foot works. It was a great surprise to know that a brief shoulder and neck massage is included in the foot massage purchase. My only issue would be that there are no curtains or separation between massage tables/chairs...it is all one giant room.The customer across from us was getting a full table massage and we could here the masseuse massaging his back which was a bit distracting in the "relaxing," environment. I bought a Groupon for a half an hour foot massage at this establishment a little while back. I finally called to make an appointment for it since I was going to be in the Coral Springs area that day. The lady who answered the phone said for $20 more I could add a half an hour for neck and back as well. For me, those are magical words so of course I said, "yes absolutely!" I'm wondering if there is a type of Chinese massage I am unfamiliar with as I have visited a few Chinese medicine/holistic places where you anticipate the massage being one way, and then it is not like that at all. The theme seems to be pushing with the palm in areas opposed to getting in and rubbing knots out. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxing. There is a curtain you walk around and many beds that line each wall even though there are not that many workers. Calming music plays which is very nice, and no one is talking so you can relax. When you do the neck and back part, you lay face down on the bed. There is a slit for your head to go in almost like a massage table but way more comfortable on your face as it's softer. The bed moves with the pushing almost like it's on a spring. You are covered with a sheet, and the sheet is used on top to help slide the persons hands for your massage opposed to lotion/oil on your back. Eventually, you turn over, and that is when you get your feet done. Lotion is used on your calves and feet, and later wiped off with a hot towel. When you are laying on your back for the foot portion, a soft face mask is placed on your face to rest over your eyes. For me the massage was just okay. It didn't actually help any of my painful areas or wow me. The one thing I can say about the experience though was that I was very relaxed. Usually my brain is going so quick with thoughts and I can never seem to quiet it, but during that visit I found it moved at a much slower rate and even one I felt I had control of. They do accept credit cards, and you can tip on the card. GPS tries to drop you off on the west side of the building, but the location faces the mall. read more

Overall the massage is decent. But, it's cookie cutter. They do the same massage for everyone. They don't ask you any questions or try to see what you may need focus on. Just tell you to lay down and they get to work. As a licensed massage therapist myself I find that insane that this is how some establishments do business. For the price I can kinda see why the therapists might do that cus I guarantee you they aren't getting paid much. ‍ I would return again because it's a decent massage for a good price. This is my bf and I second time here. The problem my boyfriend and I had this past visit was the therapist massaging my bf answered the phone TWICE (his personal cell phone) during the massage AND he stopped to go answer the door and tell someone they weren't taking anymore appointments. That is SO UNPROFESSIONAL and disturbing. There are people in your establishment to relax and your phone is ringing. Not only that but you ANSWER the phone, proceed to have a whole conversation for about two minutes, the person calls back, and you continue talking for another minute or so. Then to stop massaging (SOMEONE WHO HAS ALL READY PAID YOU) to go answer the door?! Oh my goodness. I would never do that to a client. Absurd! When I came in the guy told me to talk low, yet he was literally on the phone talking during massages. I couldn't believe it. They need to have a receptionist to handle answering the business phone and front door so the therapists massaging aren't getting up disturbing and taking away from the clients that are being served presently. At minimum put the line on do not disturb and a note on the door stating they aren't accepting anymore clients for the day. It isn't right for a paying customer to have their experience short changed because the business doesn't have their faculties in order. read more

The masseuse kept coughing & had a runny nose. Then, because I didn't tip the 20%, while at checkout the masseuse came up and threw down the tip I gave and said it needed to be 20%. Less than one star here!! I got a gift card from my relative who was going here all the time. There's no expiration on the gift, and the spa would not honor it. They say they changed ownership- yet they have the same name.....OH and it comes out of their own pocket. Well, that's called good business practice, and that's how you keep customers coming and referring. I even offered to pay the tip (was included on the gift) and additional $20, since prices have changed, but they wanted more. I could buy my own groupon for that rate at any other spa! These places are a dime a dozen, we all know. Very poor business decision IMHO. I am a very kind person, and wasn't rude in any way. I told them I would leave a review and tell all my family and friends about this. We won't frequent this business anymore unless they decide to make things right with me. Yes, we had a Groupon, but we opted to pay extra (luckily you pay after and you will find out why in a bit) and extend to the one hour full body. I got a male therapist (if you can call him that) and my sister got a female. I was instructed to lay on my stomach. No big deal. I was fully clothed. Also no big deal. He started messaging me on my upper back and shoulders and then moved down my lower back. Then he started messaging my buttocks. I thoughts for a sec, maybe he is working my hips, I'm a big girl and he might just be trying to find the joint to put pressure. But he moved down to my upper thigh and legs then back up to my butt. Hmmm. Ok. He moved on to different areas of my back, but then back to my ass. What?!? His hands kept finding their way back to the middle of my ass, not my hip area. Or the very top of my thighs. I started getting increasing uncomfortable. At one point he rested one hand on my ass while he messaged another part of my back with the other hand. Finally I had enough. I told him to stop touching my ass, I jumped up, another therapist came over and said he was getting the manager. The manager came over. I told him that the guy (I don't even know his name) could not keep his hands off my ass and I was done and I wanted to leave. We had only been there for about 30 minutes. So my sister and I walked out. As I am standing outside catching my breath and collecting myself, the manager comes out and says "I am so sorry he does not understand, he doesn't speak much English". I didn't know what to expect coming here, but I had a feeling it wouldn't be your traditional massage experience, or at least the ones I'm used to, but it's definitely worth it! My friend brought me here after we both realized how were we in much need of some TLC from our stressful jobs (nursing life ugh). We walk into the establishment, and my friend straight away picks out the type of massage were getting, but since I had no idea what I was doing, I put my complete trust in her. They offer several different massage packed. Foot massages being $20 for 30 mins, foot and back massage for $30 for an hour (the one we got), foot and a full back massage for $40 for an hour, and another package I can't seem to remember off the top of my head. After you tell them which package you're doing, they lead you into this dark room with two rows of beds. It's so dark in there, there's no point of taking pictures, and I'm pretty sure using flash would be a big no-no lol. For our package, they seat you in front of a bed on an ottoman and give you a back massage while they put your feet in warm water to soak. Afterwards, they lay you in the bed face up, cover your eyes with a wash cloth, drape the most amazingly soft blanket in world on top of you to keep you warm and toasty, then take one body part at a time and massage it with oils. It was such a relaxing experience. They do both arms, legs, and feet... And right when I'm drifting off to sleep land they bust out this warm, wet wash cloth to wipe/massage my legs. Ugh, so amazing. I wish it lasted longer. I think the name of my masseuse was Jenny, and she was wonderful. She put enough pressure where it hurt but the good kind of hurt (if that makes sense). I have to say, the entire staff is friendly and delightful! My friend comes here all the time, so much so, she actually got a free massage already from a stamp card they provide (you need 10 to get the free one lol). If you love the whole spa experience then this place is not for you. I first discovered foot massages in California where you can find one in every plaza! I have come across a couple of foot massage places in S. Florida and many of these place charge double the price than what you find on the west coast. I discovered Han Ting through a groupon. What I discovered was that you can get a 1hr massage for $30 which is better than what groupon even offers and keeps my pockets happy. I have been here enough times to fill up my punch card and receive my free massage (10 massages & the next one is free). They are very consistent with the massages and use good pressure, not too hard and not too soft. The environment is dark and quiet with about 10 massage chairs with mellow relaxing music playing. The linens always smell fresh. Owner is very nice and always happy! The massage starts off with a 10-15 minute warm water foot soak as they massage your neck and back. They proceed to place you in a comfortable recliner chair and massage your arms for a little and then focus on your legs and feet. Definitely recommend if you just want a simple massage and a quick way to relax! read more

Excellent massage place! I've been to a few places like this is California so this is exactly what I was aiming for. My first visit here, I decided to start with the $40 massage which gives you a 30 min leg massage and 30 min full back massage. For the back massage, you're required to lay on your stomach with your shirt off. No warm tub to soak your feet but the foot massage was so good, I fell asleep. My second visit, I figured I would try the $30 massage to check out the difference. It gives you a 30 min leg massage and a 30 min back massage (mini version compared to the $40 one). For this massage, you are given a shoulder and back massage sitting up while your feet are soaked in a warm tub. For $10 more I think laying down for a more detailed back massage is highly worth it but my masseuce was absolutely amazing! He wasn't too hard or soft and paid close attention to detail. So when I squinched a little, he would soften up. Just perfect! This place also gives you a sweet punch card for every visit. Every ten gives you a free massage! PREFACE My boyfriend, his mom, and I wanted to get massages but found it a tad difficult to find a place that could tackle the three of us in the same hour. Luckily a co worker suggested this place close to the mall so I wouldn't have to scour Groupon for discounts and then Yelp for reviews. RESERVATION EXPERIENCE I called 4 times on a Friday (with 2 different numbers) but only reached the same 407 area code voicemail. I eventually made a reservation in person for the next day. On Saturday, we arrived exactly at 3pm but had to wait 20 minutes for a spot to open. MASSAGE The space looks just like the pictures online....just a low-lit store front with room dividers that separate the front desk from the community massage area. The massage consists of a back massage while you're sitting upright, then foot massage while you're lying down. They also put your feet in a warm bath that's lined with plastic for cleanliness. The experience was forgettable in that we were not introduced to our massage persons in the dark room... Everyone remained nameless strangers in what seemed like an assembly line environment. I would have preferred a female but they paired the female with my boyfriend for some reason. Each of us had different experiences: one person got a neck massage while the others didn't, one of us got a hand massage while the others didn't, we all got weird thigh massages, my boyfriend ended up with his shirt off. Each of the 6 massage people working got up interchangeably to talk to walk-in customers. PRICES The hour massage costs $30 but two of our massage persons demanded (yes demanded, they literally stopped us at the front door) a higher tip than what we gave them (we originally tipped $10 total but they were ultimately satisfied with $10 each.) This was fine with us because when we left we noticed their brochure actually says that the back/foot massage is $40. But we didn't really enjoy the experience which is why we tipped less. CONCLUSION The only thing that might bring us back is to switch it up and try different massage persons (I don't dare call them massage therapists or anything of that nature). I've been there twice, for thirty minute foot massages. They also massage your shoulders and lower legs. I teach fitness classes, play tennis, and do my own home and yard work: I get very sore. Stumbled upon this gem through Groupon and took my three daughters aged 22, 22, and 20. The only regret I have is that they the wanted 30, not 60 minute service. You forget you're in a strip mall smack in the middle of the mall parking lot once you go through the doors. Very soothing music, you're provided a bottle of water and a hair tie, and the 30 minute was a teaser but a very nice first experience. This will definitely become one of my favorite places. read more
