One of the worst financial advising firms out there. I terminated my contract in September 20 21 and they did not do any debrief or mention that they did not transfer my account. Kept charging their monthly fee by selling the stock and using that as their advisory fee for next four years. Never even once they called me or updated me that they were charging fees. The Customer Service from my advisor is outstanding. He always calls several times a year to check how we are doing and if we have any questions. They offer Many different products and advisors to help you throughout your financial journey, however Not all of the products are for everyone. I use some of their products and services? Especially tax preparation and am very happy with them. They partner with credit union one as their main financial institution. read more

If you are referred to Hantz by a friend, consider my experience. --Wanted me to put ALL my life savings into annuities. --Did not give me a prospectus with the brochure for the products as required by law. I had to ask for it --When I questioned my advisor about the fees listed in the prospectus he told me the prospectus was just getting me confused, and that's why he advised his clients not to read it. He seemed put out by my good faith questions, wondering when I would start to trust him more. --I established a Trust through a Hantz associated law firm. Hantz was to be my successor trustee to manage and distribute my assets upon death. I foolishly did not read the fine print in the successor trustee agreement until later, which allowed Hantz full control over my assets upon death, with the ability to invest my assets in any product, waiving all conflict of interest and obligation to act in the best interest of my estate and heirs. If any of my children would have challenged the arrangement they would have automatically been excluded as a beneficiary. The way the document read, Hantz could have put my house up for sale the day after I died, or invest my assets in ridiculous, high fee "products" with no recourse for my family --My 2023 taxes were incorrect; I overpaid and the IRS caught it --I have left Hantz for another firm. No regrets. read more

After a little research, I found disturbing legal action against them. Recommended by a friend, but after a short time working with them, they were demanding, and bullying. They behave as if I work for them. I don't recommend entrusting your finances to this group. read more

These people are only interested in customers who have a lot of money they can extort. If you genuinely want financial advice they will not help instead they simply take your money and funnel it into their company (ie. their banking or insurance). They do not wish you serve others. They only wish to steal your money. They have screwed my family in more ways than one. read more

We joined Hantz group 2 years ago on a recommendation from a friend that uses them. I became initially suspicious when they tried to push annuity plans on us, with extremely high fees and tried to push a special investing service that claimed to minimize risk in a downturn, but again the fees were so high you would be better off just buying index funds and riding things out. Their service has been extremely poor. They schedule meetings without consulting us on dates and times, and then seem surprised when we can't make it. Their investments are substandard and have high fees. Recently I got a letter from the IRS that they screwed up our 2017 taxes. We wanted to hire a financial services company because we are both extremely busy working professionals, but Hantz has cost us both time and money. Obviously we are no longer with them, but I would recommend that you stay away if you are considering Hantz. read more

I was recommended to Jacki Popadich at Hantz by a dear friend, whom I trust. That friend had been going to her for over 25 years and had managed to pay off her house. When I first met Jacki, I was impressed by her warmth and sincerity. Since I became her client many years ago now, Jacki has updated my company 401K designations, earning me much more return on my investment than the company baseline was doing. She suggested that I put my home and all my assets into a Living Trust, to protect my heirs. She encouraged me to set aside more of my bi-weekly paycheck into Before Tax dollars in my 401K, to make sure I have enough money for retirement. And she guided me through the process of getting my Social Security benefits as an ex-spouse. I would never have known to do that, and the extra money each month has decreased my stress and anxiety enormously. My son is also her client, now that he is at an age to start to invest and manage his money. I would recommend Jacki to anyone, but most especially to single women out there who need someone to guide them in financial decisions, who has their best interests at heart. read more

I dealt with Hantz a few years ago. They portrayed themselves as really wanting to give me personalized investment service. Nothing could have been further from the truth. They put me in two simple investments, a Prudential Annuity and some kinda Transamerica fund. Both had loads of about 5% taken right off the top. Even monies I put in a Roth IRA had a load so it was IMPOSSIBLE for me to maximize a contribution after their piece was taken.. They tried to hand me the crap that "Loaded Funds" which net THEM a chunk of your money are a "Good Idea" Oh Yeah....they charged me $100/month for this "service" I'd NEVER go back to them or recommend them to anyone! read more

We had 2 different advisors. We were never informed of these changes until it was time for a mid year or yearly review. When we complained, the founding father called us. He was very abrupt and use non professional language. He declined to provide further answers on our investments. read more

I found that Hantz Financial specializes with firms such as Prudential, Transamerica, various REITs such as Inland American and CNL. All of these are high commission products and are "SOLD", not requested. The REITs are non-traded and are NOT the type of product for the conservative investor and NOT a product that one should buy now with interest rates rising. I have found that Hantz exist on high commission products and not in the best interest of the investing consumer. I have lost about the same amount Hantz has received on commissions. They are not recommended. read more

I would not recommend doing any type of financial business through this bank including (but not limited to) applying for a loan or mortgage, opening any type of account, or receiving financial advising. Customer service is virtually NON-EXSISTENT even for customers paying a hefty monthly fee to receive financial planning. I've been intentionally hung up on multiple times for basic questions like "what are your current loan rates" and "how should I deposit a large check". I spent 20 minutes on hold with the bank to literally just update my address on my bank account (which can't even be done over the phone). But my favorite part out of all of my experiences with Hantz is how I was highly recommended by both my car salesman and my real estate agent to not get any type of loan from Hantz since they are notorious for slowing down business transactions. If a bank has a bad reputation with other local professionals, it's a good idea to avoid them at all costs. read more
