Advertised validated parking however, owner could not find the stamp. Pricing includes a retouch however, difficult to contact and setup follow up. Attempted to reach the business a handful of times over the course of several weeks. Despite taking proper aftercare, my brows have faded and no other brow place willing to provide follow up unless you pay them full price-same as getting a new procedure. Positives: Owner did a great job on my brows and happy with the shape. Since it was my first time, I have nothing to compare it to but it was almost pain free. Quiet and clean facility. Plenty of parking. After disputing the follow up charges to BBB, I received a refund. I understand things happen in life but communication is key. The amount charged was intended to cover a follow-up appointment but if I had not reached out to an outside agency for help, I truly think I would've been out $200. Wish it worked out. I had such a great experience with Wing. She is so sweet and helpful! I was a bit unsure if I should have my eyebrows microbladed or done with ombré powder. I showed Wing a few pictures of what I was going for and she suggested ombré powder. The first appointment was roughly an hour and a half. Wing put numbing cream on my eyebrows so I did not feel a thing throughout the entire procedure. The healing process took about a week and a half. No discomfort, itching, or anything. I am absolutely in love with my eyebrows. She told me to come in a month later for a touch up and said I will not need another touch up for about 18 months. Belated review. I have been debating getting my brows done for sometime but I have fair sensitive skin. So I was scared and hesitant for a while. The thing is I look Korean but don't have the straight brow structure. I only wanted a slight arch as my actual brow does have some. Wing didn't make me feel rushed when she drew in her suggestion after showing her pictures of how I did my make up. I initially went in thinking I would get combination (microblading and powder) but after discussion it seemed would be best to try out powder only for my first session. I do my make up more of the "American" style as opposed to the East Asian make up no make up look. My original eyebrows still have some hair just light and sparse on the 'front' and 'tail' end. Mainly my front part of my brows were really sparse. Wing was very good about checking if I was in pain throughout the session. I did feel some pain but lidocane is hard for me to absorb so I felt some but I wasn't tearing up or anything. It did start to feel raw after she had to go over the brows a few times which I understand needs to be done layer by layer. When she was done my brows had a red hue to it but she assured me that's not the color she used. My skin again as I mentioned before is sensitive. By the fourth day the redness had gone down significantly. Thankfully, I did not swell up or react to the coloring. She gives simple instructions on aftercare for the first five days and provides the ointment and shows you how much to apply to each brow. I am debating reaching out again for touch up but this isn't anything against her work. I think my front right brow is having issue taking in the powder pigment as it did the very first time session/heal. read more

I am a perfectionist - so I am often mentally prepared to be disappointed by mediocre services and experiences. :P But honesty, Wing had exceeded my expectations! Not only is she friendly and professional from the very beginning, I was pleasantly surprised by her high standards when it comes to the quality of her product, customer experience, and sanitary standards. It was very comforting to know that she got her certification in a high-quality cosmetic school in Korea. She also has all of the licenses required in California (which isn't common, so it gave me even more trust and comfort in her abilities and care). I've had micro-blading done before in Asia. I have to say it's hard to find someone like Wing, who has the fine skills, but more importantly, the eyes and fashion sense to know what works best for her clients. A good sense of taste is not something you can easily teach someone... During my extensive research (before deciding to go with Hanya), I saw so many horrific/outdated/dramatic/thick/thin eyebrows from the other places that offer similar services. I was so scared I wouldn't be able to find anything natural-looking in San Diego. So you can imagine how excited I was when I saw Hanya's client pictures! I chose to do the powder instead of microblading this time - just to try something different. It turned out great! I think they both are great, it just depends on the look you are looking for. The whole experience was very pleasant. Wing took the time to listen and understand my needs, she then drew the shape that she felt would best fit me. She asked me how I felt and took the time to fine tune the shape until it felt right (I'd suggest you to be honest with her on how you feel during this time. She's there to help us! So don't be polite and keep quiet, or else it will be too late to make changes once it's done) :) At first I wasn't too sure if the shape she suggested would fit me, but then I realized the shape that I used to like was a bit dated. She has been doing this for many years and is fully certified and learned this technique of makeup in Korea where beauty standards are very high. She did an amazing job with my eyebrows. I did the ombré shading brows and receive so many compliments on them even months after I got them done. From the first free consultation you can tell that Wing knows what she is doing. She would give you suggestions based on your makeup style and pictures you show her and even suggest things you never considered before. She listens to what you want. Wing is fantastic - very attentive and responsive! I got the semi-permanent eyeliner. My first visit was the consultation & first appointment. She listened to what I wanted, but also suggested a couple things, which I am SO glad I listened to her - she knows what she is doing! Overall, the process was relatively painless - there was a point where the numbing cream was wearing off, but she paused the appointment and applied more numbing cream to prevent pain. You'll get a follow up appointment about a month after the first, which is absolutely necessary. She will ask how the healing process went after the first appointment and make adjustments accordingly. After the first appointment, the color was not very pigmented, but after the follow up, the eyeliner turned out absolutely perfect! read more

Until I found Hanya through an ad introducing "semi permanent makeup", and decided to give it a try as it is reversible in case result was not desirable. I'm sooooo glad I found her!!!!! The owner, Wing, is a very professional artist! She was very patient when designing my eyebrows shape. She gave me her input while respecting my opinion about what I wanna achieve for the end result.
