I came in for a simple pedicure and was serviced immediately, which was good but I was disappointed when my $30 pedicure became 35, I gave a $10 tip and then needed to use a credit card and was charged a dollar for that resulting in a $46 pedicure. I asked to sit there so that the polish could set, but after five minutes despite a place that didn't look very busy at all / I was escorted out the door! I had open sandals of my own/ and left. When I got home I saw my pedicure was totally smudged and it was quite disappointing. Wish I saw previous reviews how they rush you out the door. I won't be returning so don't need to treat me as I'm an inconvenience anymore.
I got builder gel on my natural nails an hour before closing by Yen. Thank you Yen. It was $65 before tip. Thank you Yen for rescuing my nails. They were really bad. Great pricing. The TV was on for me to watch while getting my nails done She was super nice and the atmosphere was relaxing. Thank you for taking me so close to closing
Another hit at the facility. I got my girl, Yen and my granddaughter got Jen. We were both so pleased and I feel very welcomed every time I go there. My nails came out just as I wanted and my granddaughter was loving her nails. Ever since I've been going there I have gotten so many Compton my nails. Highly recommend... Keep Rocking It Ladies....
I have gone to this place and have seen Tara twice. She does an amazing job on my nails. She takes her time and is amazing artist. My nana passed away a few weeks ago and her funeral is this Saturday. She loved getting her nails done. I wanted to add her favorite flower to one of my nails, a gardenia. These flowers are very intricate and I wasn't sure if the design would come out nicely. I told Tara if it's too difficult not to worry and she didn't even question the design she just said she will try. Tara did such an amazing job I teared up when I left because it was exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend this place if you are wanting your designs to come to life.
Absolute worst salon visit ever. My friend and I went in to get our gel removed about 3 weeks after we had it done here. While that first visit was ok, we decided to come back to get it removed with no gel or polish as we like to take breaks in between. When we said we just want gel removal, the pressure was on to get another gel. We kept saying no and then they said we could get just get regular nail polish. We said no again. That's when the mood changed. Almost angry we didn't want another manicure. We should've just walked out as I had a feeling the service was going to be less than great. I had no idea I would be "punished" for not getting another manicure. This is was the absolute WORST gel removal of all time! My nails are so bad, thin, shelling, breaking daily! I have to keep cutting them to avoid breakage. This is worse than had we taken the gel off ourselves! AVOID THIS PLACE!
I had no appointment and just walked in for manicure and pedicure no gel as the gel made a mess with my nails. The lady that did my toes was very gentle and thorough. The lady was quiet but both the ladies who did my mani / pedi talked the whole time they were doing my nails. There is no water offer at this place. The materials used are clean and new. The vibe is okay. Not welcoming but not rude either just like any other nail salon.
Vibe was good, parking is plentiful. Price is affordable (~$40ish for gel, no removal) I wasn't too impressed with the service though. The girl who did my nails was very Sh t. She asked me what I wanted, and I told her that I wanted something almond shaped and showed her a picture of my exact nails from previous. She then went ahead and cut my nails and shaped them in around shape versus an almond. And also a lot shorter than I had requested. After I told her, I wanted an almond again, after she did two of my nails, and she said it was too late because it was already too short... I just asked her if she could do the other nails in almond shape instead. Also, I have never had my gel nails start to come off before. The edges started to lift a bit only 4 days after I got them done!!! I don't know if it was not cared enough, if there were too many layers, I'm not a nail professional... But this has never happened to me before. Likely will not be coming back here again , at least anytime soon. Hopefully if I come back, I will have a better experience with a different person.

Went in for a gel x manicure and Kelly did an amazing job! I showed her the picture and she was able to recreate it. She was really friendly as well and after every step would ask if I was happy with the results. It was my first time coming here and the price was reasonable too for the work she put in! Did a walk in and was helped right away, luckily they weren't busy. Will definitely be coming back. read more

This is my new favorite salon in Oceanside! I came in wanting to fix my nails after a horrible experience at a different salon. The woman who did my nails asked me questions about what I like and don't like, and gave me recommendations based on my nail size. Everyone here was so NICE and helpful! I scheduled my next appointment and showed the manager an inspiration picture. He looked around and made sure they had all the supplies they needed for when I come in next week. Update! Since these are my natural nails they're a little thin and one of them tore a bit when I was lifting something heavy out of the oven! I knew it would rip completely if I left it alone so I called and asked them if they could fix it and they let me come in right away and they fixed it as a courtesy within 15 minutes! She didn't cut my nail or anything, just glued it and put a little acrylic on top which is exactly what I was hoping for read more

This is my favorite nail salon in Oceanside so far. Every time my mother comes into town we come here and get our nails done together. I always get a gel manicure and she always gets a get pedicure. Last time she said she thought it was the best pedicure she's ever gotten! Last time I just got a basic color of the gel, but this time while I was looking at the colors, my nail technician recommended something a little more special-- the cat eye nails! I usually don't go for the extras but this was extremely unique and perfect! I think my tech's name was Tina but I'm not sure. Both times I have gone I have had the same technician and she is great! Its a nice salon, they always have new movies playing on the tv, and communication has never been a problem here. I have not gotten acrylics here, but I have sat next to clients getting those and this salon definitely takes their time to get the acrylics right! read more

What a hidden gem! When I walked in the first time, I honestly thought one side was an art bar because they have towers and booklets of different powders, rhinestones, decals, colors all nail art supplies to create any picture you bring in or can dream of!! There's nothing they cannot do here! I myself am a make-up artist and have been getting my nails done for a long time around here but unfortunately most places never offered this level of art/design! I've had my nails done by four different people which usually makes me a bit hesitant, since I like a specific type of nail shape, and I have never been disappointed! Highly recommend! read more
I hardly ever get my nails done but since it was my wedding I blew some $$ on nails lol! $65 for the supreme gel French tip pedi and $75 for my French tip acrylic mani with some gems and white flowers on my ring finger. I'm not sure what the average price is for this because I never get my nails done! Amy was fantastic with my mani! I showed her a picture on Pinterest and it was well executed. She was careful and made sure that I wanted to correct shape and size. I wanted to stick to my natural shape and keep it classic. I didn't want super long nails as I'm not used to it. My pedi was amazing i went with the #5 supreme I'm not quite sure what the real difference is and I didn't get to catch the technicians name but she was very nice and made sure I liked the color of the French tip she put on me. I thought it was well worth it but again in terms of pricing I'm not sure if this salon is on the high end. read more

I came to visit family for the day and was looking to get my nails done while I was here. My sister had came here once to get hers done and she loved how they did them so I decided to come here too. I am a very picky person so finding the right nail salon is important to me. The service was great and so was the nail technician I got. I've been here twice and Karen never fails to get the designs I want for my nails :) I personally recommend her and she's very sweet and takes careful precautions on your nails! I also got my eyebrows waxed by My Linh and she makes my brows on fleek! I love the service I was given today and definitely a much more friendly environment here than most nail salons I have been to! read more
I'm recently a new client of Happiest Nails & Spa and we can say the times I have come I've left more than satisfied. Karen has been doing my nails and the girl is talented. She is really nice and down to earth and makes me feel welcomed. Last week Saturday I went in for a fill and decided to get a pedicure and baby let me tell you Tina put me to sleep during my pedicure she was simply amazing. First pedi since start of pandemic. Salon is clean. They will wear masks if requested. They use liners in pedicure bowls. Fresh tools. Technician was responsive to my requests. They use alternating chairs to maintain social distancing. Very pleasant experience. read more

Starting with the good. Beautiful style and all new equipment. All staff really nice. I loved that I could call and make an appointment and the nail tech was ready for me. I chose the highest priced pedicure, suggested by the tech. Her nail file & buffer were obviously not new, ew. I got 40 minutes for $50. Unfortunately she was not good at applying nail polish. An hour with expert polish application and new file might have made this a 5 star. I did tip 20% because I know it's hard work made harder by being on commission. I may try them again, not the same tech though. And I will bring my own file, possibly she has to buy them instead if owner providing. I received a message from the owner, he agreed that this was not good work and files should be new. But pedicures take between 20-50 minutes. Just depends on who's doing it. 40 minutes for $50. Not a good value. The polish is chipping off after 4 days. It needs to come off anyway. read more

My gels one week after my manicure. The process was fine but they were clearly done poorly, I could see once I left that the color was thicker and thinner in different parts, I had to refile multiple mails myself at home to not be crooked, and they started peeling and chipping within 3 days. I started gluing them down with glue meant for acrylics as there's no way I'm paying for another gel manicure that fast but it's been 7 days and my nails look horrible. I think the biggest issue was them not being sealed down properly because obviously they shouldn't be peeling and lifting in a matter of days- that's not expected for at least 2 weeks read more

Amy is fantastic! She is detail-oriented, gentle, and very skilled. She takes great care to make sure your nails are shaped evenly and the design is to your liking. It is rare to find a nail tech who is talented and artistic, friendly, efficient and careful all at the same time. I got gel cow print nails alternating with a light pink gel polish. Amy followed the reference photo perfectly. This is honestly the first time I've walked out of a nail salon totally satisfied with the service, no regrets and very happy with my nail art :) read more

My first time here and I will be returning. I was able to make an appointment on the same day. I had a dip powered manicure and classic pedicure done with Thao. She did a great job! Very professional and friendly, made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The gentleman that rang me up was also very friendly. The salon is very spacious and clean, instruments are packaged and sterile. I definitely left happy! read more

Made an appointment the day before and they were able to squeeze me in! My nails look incredible, she did an amazing job. I was in and out for an acrylic fill in about an hour. The price was so reasonable and I am so happy with them! I've convinced some friends to come to with for my next fill. My new go to. read more

I came to get a full set and was sat down with Annie. I had an absolutely amazing experience with her for my full set with butterflies. She hand placed and designed my nails. We had a great conversation. I also get my pedicures done here biweekly and they are always amazing. I highly recommend this salon. It is always clean, the staff are very friendly & it's so relaxing! Definitely the best nail spot I have found in Oceanside and I've been searching for 5 years! Called in yesterday to make a last minute appointment for a full set with Ken. I was able to come in today during my lunch and get my wedding nails done. I don't have long nails in fact after finishing multiple yard projects I barely have any nails at all. I was in the area and got on yelp to guide me . Lots of great reviews. I had the deluxe pedicure and a manicure with gel Polish. First the salon is big and very busy. I was told to grab two different colored books of gel polishes choices and chose my color.Since I had made an appointment I was counting on having the manicure and pedicure done at the same time. Mostly my experience. After my feet were in the tub they told me it would not be done at the same time but my technician would do both. Bummer Lots of drama between an obnoxious pregnant lady sitting next to me and the staff. Perhaps an old employee or super star I didn't know. Her technician wasn't available so after an hour of getting her feet done and complaining about how much she hates all the white nail polish choices and only wants the one from the new spring collection Interesting enough, I wasn't given the book of the new spring collection to choose from but the lady that sat down on the other side of me was asked if she wanted to look through the new spring collection book. I guess you have to know someone that knows someone to get your nails on that collection book. Lady O loudly talked the entire time ( baby girl due in 3 months, couldn't handle another boy husband is so damn lucky to have her etc. she made an announcement to the salon when she left that she would be returning the next day to have her nails done. The technician that worked on me seemed annoyed to have gotten me as her client. It was uncomfortable at times because she was looking at my nails while talking to the technician next to her and that technician would now be looking at my nails. This happened at the tub and when I was moved to the table for my manicure. The color I picked out looked nothing like the color on my nails and I wasn't able to see the # because she was covering it up. This place may be great if your a local and knows someone that knows someone but I'm not local and the reviews did not match up at all with my experience. Who does the best full set/ombré? Do they cut cuticles while doing full set (sick of these places not doing the whole manicure part as well).
They charge an extra fee for cuticle care-- for some reason this is not included in a "manicure."

Yes, I get gel mani + gel pedi but I highly recommend Tina Lee (there are 2 Tinas, be sure to include the full name) because not everyone there has made me happy; she is great.
