They have two plugs inside for electronics if you're going to hang out to study or work but one is hard to access and the music is very loud so it's difficult to have a quiet conversation or focus on a task. It's a cute spot, there's tons of seating outside and the staff are nice. FYI a plain green tea is $4.50 and they prompt for tip on top of that. I believe this place is geared more towards selling lunch/dessert rather than offering people a quiet space talk or work.

A favourite from the time they opened as the quality of the desserts and specialty coffees is reminiscent of travels to Europe. The owners are extremely friendly and excellent at engaging with customers in real time and on social media. The unique ability to print on "food" as a medium for that special gift or treat makes them a niche provider to get that unusual something. Constantly evaluating the needs and wants of their customers and responding as they grow their flavour profiles and diverse selections of treats to put some "happiness" in your day makes return visits a must. Hiding in plain sight makes them easy to find and easier to return to. The honey cake and the mousse cakes are a must try.....well it's all a must try. Happiness is now within reach in downtown London.

I was looking for a bakery in London that was open on a Monday. I was excited that I found one close to where I was and received good reviews on Yelp. I called and pre-ordered donuts for my husband's birthday to be picked up in a few hours. After I prepaid, I saw an offer for 15% off your first order on yelp. I called Happiness and they told me they knew nothing about the offer. I spoke with the manager at the other location and she would not honor the coupon. I even took screen shots and emailed them to her. I received no response back and no coupon. I could understand if they had no reviews or wasn't active on yelp. However, as a business owner, you should update your pages and looking through review sites, good or bad. I was not looking for a hand out and I can absolutely pay for my treats. I can't imagine I'm the only person that has seen this. Despite the treats being delicious (mousse cakes and donuts), this is poor customer service. I won't be going there again.

I like this cafe. It's operated by a very couple. The waffles are amazing. They have tasty pastries as well. But seriously, try the waffles.

The ingredients are high quality, and the flavours are thoughtfully developed. Pink lemonades are often too sweet, but this one was perfectly balanced. The lemon square was nicely tart, the quiche had generous chunks of feta, and the muffin had that rich, buttery flavour you only get from homemade baked goods. Service was bubbly and helpful, and the interior was quaint. There's just enough seating outside, with a setup that lets you choose between sun or shade. Special mention for offering the London Fog iced; my first time trying it, and it is now my new go-to. Prices were surprisingly reasonable considering the quality. Easily the best coffee shop I've tried in London so far.

On top of that, requesting light milk doesn't seem to resonate with the server or change the outcome of the drink. We like the outside patio but it's usually just pestering with bees bc of their open lid garbage can sitting directly in the middle of the patio. So although I want to give this place a good review and rating, it seems quite difficult to do so. P.S. why do they serve jamaican patties?

It's in the Old East Village, past Adelaide St, and they're really revitalizing this area and I think it's wonderful, this establishment is located in an old warehouse, which was turned into Fire Roasted and the Old East Grocer. I came this afternoon for a Yelp event and I brought my mom. We parked in the back, since there wasn't any parking on the road, which was fine, you just have to pay to park. We walked into the place and Fire Roasted is on the left and the grocers is straight ahead. Smaller café, but there were plenty of tables and chairs available for our small event! I had ordered two small coffees for my mother and myself and we tried the bagel bombs they had, jalapeno, and garlic & bacon, both of which were delicious. I believe all the food items are outsourced, but they are delicious nonetheless. The actual Roasting plant is in the back of the building, I took a walk down to see what it looked like, and it was really interesting to see how they do it. This is such a unique building, and how they've renovated it to help revitalize the whole east end is amazing, bringing in the local business to help this area thrive again. I'll definitely be sure to come back, the ambience is wonderful, and the coffee is delicious.
