If I could give 0 I would The tech clearly forgot to brush powder off my nails before applying a top coat. As well as not having a clear understanding or listening when I asked for square round shape. I had to ask for additional coats of dip knowing it would be thicker than I like because the application was uneven and nail beds still visible. In the end after being there for over 60 min for a service that should take 30 min my entire right hand was messed up with large white spots of powder breaking through my color. The tech decided to finish and apply top coats clearly seeing the difference in R to L hand and the owner tried to gaslight me and tell me that it "sometimes looks like that" "that's the color" and "from far away you can't notice." Am I paying for something that looks bad? You expect me to be ok with a botched nail job. No she expected me to stay longer to get my right hand redone by the same tech who messed it up the first time but didn't catch his own mistakes? Na na na the manager needs to know when to suck it up and take an L. Have someone step in that can do a dip without error how's that for a solution that was never offered. You expected me sit back down and waste time out of my day like I didn't have plans all that with the same tech that just messed up. As a manager maybe you offer up your time to redo the service? Don't go here they were clearly talking about me after I expressed dislike and had to stay firm knowing the color was botched. You tried to scoot me out with ugly nails and expect me not to address it. Not today I know what a good dip looks like that lasts 3 weeks and you def can't get that here. That sent me over the edge wtf kind of lame causes for horrible looking dip couldn't see or didn't care that the color was uneven and djdnt look satisfactory. read more

I was just in to get a full set. First they were confused about what I was talking about. They were asking if I wanted the "tips with gel"? That should have been my clue to leave but I didn't. I think my tech was right out of school!!! First she soaked my GEL NAILS in acetone instead of using a drill, then for the next 90+ minutes file my nails over and over and over. When it came to putting the nails back on, she didn't use powder, she used this sticky pink gel..... 6 coats on each hand. The kicker is that after my bloody cuticles, the price was $65.00!!!! I don't usually go out of my way to leave a bad review but my nails from here were so bad i have to say something. First off the only reason i went here was because i was going out of town and did not have time to schedule with my usual at home nail tech. Because of this I went in to get an easy french tip with a VERY simple swirl design on each finger and only asked her to change the color. You would think that a small design and a french tip would be possible at a nail salon right? Because that's what they are PAID to do every single day. No. Not only were did my nails look wide and are different shapes when compared next to each other, the design was also ruined because she cut them too short. When she asked me what size I would like i showed her the picture and trusted the nail techs judgement to cut them the length she thought she needed for the design,, later when it came time to add the design to the nails she said, "Oh, I can't do it because your nail too short," like whattt, did you not cut them yourself to how long you thought they should be to fit the design?? I admit it's my fault for letting her continue to work on my hands, but even when i asked for a refund and to even just get a soak off instead for $20 they refused to do so. This was my first experience with them doing a design type nail on me,, needless to say but i will not be returning. They also charged me $80!! I will be uploading the pictures below, the green french with the ugly design is the one the spa did for $80. Finally I asked some of my local friends for recommendations and HNS was recommended for lashes and nails. I started coming in four months ago and haven't returned to the nail, or lash place I went to in LA. I love how kind and attentive they are. Someone just came over and offered me a cold bottle of water as I write this.... They are very busy so I usually get a different person doing my pedi and manicure. But always great work. Very experienced. I love the foot and hand massages / the chair massages, warm water pre-pedicure....hot towels during the manicures ... it feels great. The woman who does lashes is wonderful. Kim. Even for fills, she is gentle, careful and attentive.... she doesn't rush through, and I'm embarrassed to say I've even fallen asleep while she did my lashes. I'll start with the paint first- then lay into the technician issues. But overall regardless of who's doing my nails- I have constant paint issues. I'm guessing old paint? It has shadows and streaks in it. Not good. Then there's the carousel merry go round of techs- had some good. Todays was horrible and will be the reason I do not return in the future. Horrible at communicating. Horrible at shaping. I've had nails for over 30 years so I know my nails, but when I had natural gel nails walking in, I had hoped to be walking out in tuned up condition. Wonderful place. I've been going here for about two years now and they do excellent work. I usually do a mani/pedi and occasionally and eyebrow wax. Are they the cheapest place in town? No. But worth every penny. I have had a gel manicure for two weeks and it still looks perfect. I usually go around 10 - 10:30ish and it can be busy but I've only had to wait once in my two years and I only waited for about 5 minutes. Gel removal and gel polish are extra. The nail technician was friendly but not too chatty but did try to sell me on gel polish and a bigger mani/pedi package (but wasn't pushy). 2 stars for clean and quiet place/environment. Not too much chatter or crazy music playing. Chairs were comfy enough and they offered small bottled water. 3 stars for the efficiency of the nail technician, nice warm towel with a calf massage, and her job well done with the polish and fixing it when It was accidentally touched by the foam slippers they put on you if you go in wearing shoes instead of sandals. Unplanned pedicure moment. Would have gotten another star (or 2) if the nail technician made an accidental clip my little toe cuticle. It didn't bleed but I felt the sting when I put it back in the water. Fortunately I went to beauty school and I know how it should be done. This salon knows just how to keep you coming in. They charge way too much.. I spent 130.00 plus tip for half done work. Your false nails will break within the week even if they are looking great, and they charge you $5 to fix their work. It's like this is a scam. There aren't any regular mani pedi. Only what's on the board. Starting at 38 dollars. This gets you a manicure with regular polish. The prices go up from there. Doesn't sound so bad right. I talking, they gave me a plain, no polish manicure. In the end, you'll come back over and over sooner than you want. You might get the nail color you want, maybe. I bring my own polish and after Im done I go home and use my clear polish to make it last almost a month I just came from there and my lashes started falling out. I have had it. I'm tired of the scam. In the last 3 months I've spent over 500.00 at least having services done and then going back to have work "done over". read more

Had to give a review. I walk in to the very peaceful location and was greeted by a woman who asked how could she help me. I informed her I needed gel Polish removed. She was a bit thrown off by removal only but set me up with a gentleman who was very nice. They have the basic massage chairs and they line the foot basin which was nice. I also enjoyed the relaxing music that was playing softly in the background. As he began to remove the polish he noticed I was sensitive and asked what happened. I informed he I stubbed both big toes while hiking however this one was still tender. The gentleman was so kind and put the gentle in gentleman. He offered to trim my broken toe nail thinking it would help alleviate my tenderness. It was at that point I decided to get a pedicure. It's nice to go somewhere and they are pushy or insist you have more services performed. The service was great. The basic pedicure included a massage which was nice. Pedicure was good but my full set white tip gel is not worth the money I don't think. I'm easy to please and I never get full sets but my nails were short and i wanted some length. I'm pretty sure the nail being put on should cover. Mine don't . They are just average and the cost $32. Came here with 2 other friends and really loved how they accommodated 3 of us very fast! I received the original pedicure w/ gel and the girl who did my toes was fast, but got into my nails to make sure they were nice and clean. They offer many colors like the standard spa nail place. When it was time to paint my toes, the girl would go back with a brush to remove excess paint so she was very attentive. I was seen by two technicians: one to do my nails, the other my pedicure. They both were very thorough and took their time cleaning every part of my nail bed. The massage was good, and the polish was evenly done. I was thoroughly impressed! There wasn't any weird side chatter or awkward laughing from the techs. One guy actually engaged in a bit of small talk with me. Their prices are a little high when you go for the crazy packages ($83). This is a very nice place. It's clean, everyone is friendly to adults and kids alike, the prices are fair and they do wonderful work. I get gel nails because I have very thin natural nails but I love having long nails and acrylics do to much damage. Their gel nails lasted almost four weeks which is double the normal life span of gels and I'm a janitor which is very rough on the nails so for them to last 4 weeks was very surprising. I've also taken my three year old and we got pedicures together. They were very kind and great with her. Her pedicure was done before mine and she wasn't a perfect angel she did want to get up and walk around but they were great about talking to her and helping me keep her in her chair while my pedicure was finish. We have gone there for years and it was brand spanking new when I and my horrible feet showed up the first time. I was at my wits end with calloused, cracking, itchy feet. My wife says come get a pedicure and I said that's for girls. She told me to quit crying about my feet then. So I went. Ok so I left with about an inch of callous scraped off my feet and they were actually soft and felt better than they had in years. The poor lady who did the work on my pedi looked like she just did a 3 hour Zoomba class. Poor thing Aged 5 years with the effort it took to do my feet. I'd like to say I felt bad, but my feet were too enthralled with... Wait for it... Happiness! So the price for a nice pedicure with nail trim, cuticles, callous removal scrub, exfoliating scrub, hot wax, and foot massage is about $40. Ten years ago it was $30 so the prices are still good. They have expanded the store to fit more customers at a time and I seldom wait mor than 5 minutes before they have me fat and happy in a massage chair with my feet in warm water. After that massage chair starts, I could happily wait for an hour. They are gentle and precise and all business doing their work. The spa is clean and sanitary. All the manicurists display their licenses at their work stations. They play soft nature sounds in the background and show beautiful nature photography on the monitors. My wife and daughter get their nails done here and it is always very nice. They do the cutest nails for a 5 year old. Last time she got little daisies on her nails. The only downsides are that it seems the workers sometimes don't understand English very well so I worry that they didn't understand my instructions. Also the staff joke with each other in their language while I'm getting worked on. I might be paranoid, but I swear sometimes it is about me. In order to avoid such feelings it might be better if they kid around in English or away from the customer. Another good thing would be if someone translated so we are all in on the joke instead of thinking we ARE the joke. Look, it isn't so bad I'll stop coming here.
