I have to first say that I'm currently pregnant, and I'm told that you skin can react weird, especially when hair is being ripped out by the follicles. I saw Joanna, and she was wonderful overall. I had a HORRIBLE reaction, either to the wax or the witch hazel they spread all over your skin after the waxing strip has been removed. My problem lies in the owner, who came out and blatantly told a blotchy, swollen, red faced pregnant lady that it is "not an allergic reaction and benadryl will NOT help you at all." I have to say, I went home and benadryl'ed the HECK up, and my face was 100x better just a few hours later... so thanks for your ignorance. Second, my problem lied in the fact that due to my reaction, my wax was sub-par, and there was a LOT of hair missed and left... and even with a botched wax job, and a swollen, red, awful looking face, they STILL charged me full price. I wouldn't go back, even when I'm no longer pregnant. Learn to take care of your customers. read more

As soon as you walk in you are offered wine or water while you're waiting, you can browse through the vintage pin up girl style of clothing which I love ,purses, and body care products. This was my 2nd time being waxed and I must say it was not as bad as my first experience as the other Boutique in town I will not name . Anna made my experience great and she used the hard wax for my very sensitive skin which made a huge difference for me. I never had a chance to actually use the services, I was happy to try a new place, since my regular tech was booked. I paid the $22 deposit via Zelle, although I'm not a huge fan of prepaid e services, I was optimistic that it would be a positive experience. Last night I had an emergency & was at the hospital until 5 AM. I called to reschedule at 10:30 AM, for a 3:00 pm appointment. They said they would keep my $22 deposit & I had to pay additional $22 to reschedule. The staff was friendly & said it's our policy. So, make sure you don't have any emergencies & can keep your appointment or you'll be out the money. Obviously considering everything going on it's the least of my worries, however had I known this I would have waited it out with my regular tech. I'm sure it's a lovely place, I understand the issues of people not showing up, however there is plenty of time to fill my vacant appointment if there's an effort to do so. I couldn't be happier with my experience here. I went for a spray tan. It was a trial for my wedding next month. I saw Anna. She totally listened to what I wanted, explained the process and how to keep the color. Most importantly, she made me feel comfortable. It's weird to be naked in front of someone you just met, but she made me feel so comfortable, making light, easy conversation, talking about the wedding and the process; she did such a good job making it not weird--a total professional. For the color, I am SUPER pale (hence the needed tan). I asked her to err on the lighter side. When I left, I was a little concerned since it was much darker than I anticipated. However, the next day, after a shower, the color was perfect. Even, a light tawny; not orangey, no splotches. Again, given the tan and the service, I will always come back. I used to go to another place to have the Brazilian wax done. After several very awkwardly unprofessional, painful, and sloppy waxes, I reluctantly decided to switch to Sweet Cheeks. I was nervous to open up my girly bits to someone new, but I am SO glad I did. I have been there now twice, and Anna has been nothing but professional and courteous. She uses hard and soft wax, and makes sure she gets it all clean. She also is sensitive to your pain and uses cleansers, witch hazel, aloe gel (I think that's what it is), and baby powder. This place is fantastic. I actually look forward to my appointments. Yeah, that's kind of weird but it's true! I've seen Anna almost every month for the last year. I've had Brazilians, underarm, and eyebrow waxes. She is professional, VERY accommodating with my ever changing schedule and does a great job every time. Every visit is like catching up with a friend because she talks through the wax to keep your mind off the pain. She also applies a little pressure to minimize pain and finishes the process with a soothing lotion. With eyebrow waxes she uses a glass bulb to help with redness so you leave looking nice. Omg this is the best place to go if it's your first time getting waxed! It was my first time getting a Brazilian and I was so nervous until i arrived.
