First time here. Decided to try them because of the good reviews. Overall the mani-pedi was pretty good. The vibe didn't seem relaxing. It felt rushed, like trying to get you finished as fast as they can. I also feel that the staff needs some coaching with working with older people. Don't speak so fast and have patience when they are selecting their polish. Also, pay attention to make sure the massager chair is comfortable for them. Myself and other elderly people have arthritis and simple things may be painful. Outside of this, I feel the experience was average for the regular patron. read more

We were in Bakersfield for a family event and needed a Pedi badly! The nail salon had great A/C on a high of 106 degree Fahrenheit day lol, and their little foot spas seemed very clean. At first they seemed like they were encouraging gel nail polish for toes, but I mentioned I prefer regular because I don't like the removal process of gel polish from toes since it's such little surface area and connected to so many nerves, and I have sensitive feet. They seemed fine with getting regular polish after I explained this. Lee was my Nail Technician at Organic Nails & Spa, and my sister's Nail Technician was Cuong. They were both very helpful. Lee was very gentle and sweet, and did both my sister and my nail designs. She is very detailed and accurate, and really does a nice job with the top coats to secure any little sparkly stones she adds in, and she asks you first if you want them. Cuong seemed nice too, but was just quiet, which was fine since it's nice to just sit and relax too anyway. The warm stone massage on the legs and feet was great also. I've been to different nail places in Bakersfield and I'm not the biggest fan of spas. I don't really like people touching my feet, but sometimes it has to be done. The gentleman that took care of my feet was very polite and he went the extra mile to massage. Me and my son went on a pedi date and my son's service was good too, but the guy that took care of me did more. He can probably feel the stress tension though haha. They were really professional and I absolutely loved the orange scrub. My legs felt super fresh and I love citrus smells. I would definitely come back. Prices to me are a little bit pricey but then again I'm not that girl that goes to spas so I would rather take my cash and buy tacos, sorry. Good for me my youngest paid for our date, so I was all set. Parking can be a nuisance depending when you come. There's a lot of other businesses nearby so close parking is hard to find. I'm glad I was able to experience this place. I had a previous experience at another spa and it wasn't that great, but this one made me rethink I should come more often. read more

I would definitely recommend Organic Nails. I've been to several other nail establishments, but this one has been by far the best, in my opinion. I always get a pedicure and dip/gel and it lasts me about 3 weeks and that's with me touching a lot of water. They take their time there with very detailed work. Possible nail infection They do decent nails but the techs are rough, the girl on station 5 was extremely rough and cut my skin twice, when I was finished there was blood on the side of my nail and the next day that nail starts to shoot pain down my finger. It's been 3 days now and it's still hurting and it looks like it's infected because I doubt they sanitize their tools. She kept going back and forth with trying to fix her work and she kept messing up with the simple line then she made my nails too thick. I had to tell the girl to stop because she kept trying and I told the owner I wasn't happy with my nails. She knew the work wasn't good either she said she will help fix for fifteen minutes. I had to get back to work so It was not worth my time anymore. I still paid $50.00 and she told me to come back but these people don't understand that this is time and money. This place is filthy! The cigarette smoke from the back was coming in through the salon to the point that I got a headache and asked them to open the door. My tech spoke such little English that idk his name. Nails were filed so much they would burn. Acrylic is bumpy and nails are not uniform. They also wanted to charge me 10 extra dollars for polkadots and two hearts on only two nails. On top of that they charge you 3% if you use a card.... I get taxed enough. I went in for a pedi and a full set, my nail tech was not really listening to me I told her medium length and she cut the acrylic nail SHORT then said she had to charge me $55 because it was long. I was very upset she did that because you can't go back from cutting too short! I wanted a clear glitter color and she put white under because she said it was going to look exactly like the photo, it does not, it just looks like I have a white polish with glitter which is not what I asked for. I am very unhappy, she cut me twice!!!! This is an honest review, I hate to speak negatively of a business but I hope they listen a little bit better and train the nail techs more! read more

I'm always so distrustful when it come to letting places do my nails because I would say I have pretty high standards lol and I'm a bit of a perfectionist so I get anxious when something doesn't go exactly the way I want. But the staff at Organic Nails & Spa are so kind and good at what they do. Trust me, you can trust them. They know what they're doing. My only tip is to really lean into their expertise- so don't be afraid to come in questions and a picture! One time, I couldn't decide which red nail color to do but I had a picture and one of the staff told me exactly which color to do. In my eyes, it looked more brown than red, but she kept insisting that was a popular color for when you're trying to do burgundy nails. I trusted her and she was right! This time, I got a design done and it turned out EVEN BETTER than the picture. Love them! Oh and another tip: don't be afraid to stop them if you want something corrected (ex: "Can you make the shape a little less square?", "Can you do the french tips a little thicker?", etc. read more

Cash Only!!!! The nail tech did such a great job but I paid $50 for a gel pedicure. Add the 20% tip and that's more than I normally pay for a gel pedicure AND manicure at my usual place. Shady payment set up. There's a sign out front that says it's a $2 dollar charge to pay with card but when you try to pay they point to a smaller sign that says cash only. There is a super sketchy ATM inside where you have to withdraw your money from. As a read the text prompts on this machine all the red flags went up. Loved the overpriced pedicure, hated the sketchy payment set up. read more
