First time here. Decided to try them because of the good reviews. Overall the mani-pedi was pretty good. The vibe didn't seem relaxing. It felt rushed, like trying to get you finished as fast as they can. I also feel that the staff needs some coaching with working with older people. Don't speak so fast and have patience when they are selecting their polish. Also, pay attention to make sure the massager chair is comfortable for them. Myself and other elderly people have arthritis and simple things may be painful. Outside of this, I feel the experience was average for the regular patron. read more

We were in Bakersfield for a family event and needed a Pedi badly! The nail salon had great A/C on a high of 106 degree Fahrenheit day lol, and their little foot spas seemed very clean. At first they seemed like they were encouraging gel nail polish for toes, but I mentioned I prefer regular because I don't like the removal process of gel polish from toes since it's such little surface area and connected to so many nerves, and I have sensitive feet. They seemed fine with getting regular polish after I explained this. Lee was my Nail Technician at Organic Nails & Spa, and my sister's Nail Technician was Cuong. They were both very helpful. Lee was very gentle and sweet, and did both my sister and my nail designs. She is very detailed and accurate, and really does a nice job with the top coats to secure any little sparkly stones she adds in, and she asks you first if you want them. Cuong seemed nice too, but was just quiet, which was fine since it's nice to just sit and relax too anyway. The warm stone massage on the legs and feet was great also. Highly recommend this nail salon. Good quality and good prices. read more

My wife got her nails done there & she was not very happy with the results and it was very simple color and to clean the top of the nail it did not get done right, and the price also came out to 100 dollars and she got her toes done but way to much and job was not preformed well, she will not be going back to this place. read more

I will not be back. I went in the 9th of this month for a pedicure that was not worth the money. Today I went in because I had gel put on my nails and one of my nails the polish came off and I noticed that my big toenail had a sharp point. So I went in and they said I will have to pay again. I just want my toe painted and a quick file. Also, the lady that helped me was rude, loud and didn't understand much English because I had to repeat myself like 4 times. I won't be back and I will NEVER recommend this place. read more

It was the only nail salon around that was open during Easter Sunday so I brought my daughter here. They didn't require any appointments which was nice. Her nails turned out really pretty and ready for her prom. The reason for having 1 star off is the price. It was really expensive plus that surcharge with card use was not really stated anywhere else on their website. I've been to different nail places in Bakersfield and I'm not the biggest fan of spas. I don't really like people touching my feet, but sometimes it has to be done. The gentleman that took care of my feet was very polite and he went the extra mile to massage. Me and my son went on a pedi date and my son's service was good too, but the guy that took care of me did more. He can probably feel the stress tension though haha. They were really professional and I absolutely loved the orange scrub. My legs felt super fresh and I love citrus smells. I would definitely come back. Prices to me are a little bit pricey but then again I'm not that girl that goes to spas so I would rather take my cash and buy tacos, sorry. Good for me my youngest paid for our date, so I was all set. Parking can be a nuisance depending when you come. There's a lot of other businesses nearby so close parking is hard to find. I'm glad I was able to experience this place. I had a previous experience at another spa and it wasn't that great, but this one made me rethink I should come more often. read more

I had gotten a full set at this place recently & service was super bad. I don't usually speak about nail salons in a bad way because I understand some people can just be picky and try to get away from paying for a set, but this experience was so bad. Lady doing my nails was not gentle what so ever, and kept cutting my cuticles too short. I bled and I asked if she could be more gentle, and she continued harshly. Never going again. read more

I would definitely recommend Organic Nails. I've been to several other nail establishments, but this one has been by far the best, in my opinion. I always get a pedicure and dip/gel and it lasts me about 3 weeks and that's with me touching a lot of water. They take their time there with very detailed work. They pride themselves in making the client feeling satisfied with their work. My girl Sophie is amazing. I always want detail designs on my nails and she always does an amazing job! Let me start off by saying that they left my hands soaking in acetone for over 12 minutes and finally once it started burning I pulled my hands out of the acetone. I will never go to another nail salon that makes you soak your fingertips in acetone for that long in order to remove your dip. The person doing it left me there because they went and waxed to somebody's eyebrows. The dip on my nail is over my cuticle and I asked her to do something about it and she just told me that was the shape of my fingernail. I get my nails done regularly and have for years so I know what the shape of my fingernail is. It was such a disappointing experience. I will say that the pedicure was actually pretty good but the packages they show you don't make a lot of sense. It was 25.00 more than what I normally pay at my regular nail place that does a way better job. I asked for 5 minutes of extra massage that I did not get. If you're not going to do the full massage time you should probably remove the clock from the wall. That's what I get for cheating on my regular nail place and I've learned my lesson. I don't know how it has all these high ratings. If you go there, only go for a pedicure. Never again!

I witnessed and was subjected to one of the most racist experiences since being here in Bakersfield, I cannot wait for this contract to be up. I watched as these indentured merchants upcharge a customer because she was an Ethnic minority. She happened to be a teenager. I listened as they laughed and spoke in dialect and then I watched the family walk out. Not only did these indentured merchants try to exploit this child, but they ran away their bosses customer becausethey obviously weren't the owners---ole sharecroppers. I was hurt witnessing this done to a child. I get you all got the stereotypical memo that "we" that you know "they" don't tip---it's actually not true. However, if not receiving a$5-8 tip on a service, means more to you than the 6-8% you lose for NOT doing a$40-50 (what it actually costs) service, THEN not only ARE YOU A PERPETUAL INDENTURED MERCHANT BUT YOU DON'T know MATH with your FAKE GUCCI BAG AND MICHAEL KORS FLIP FLOPS‍----need to concentrate on doing some squats read more

They weren't lifting or broken or anything. I only had to get a fill because they finally grew out too far. The only cool thing about the place was that they offered a free mini water bottle. Other than that, I'd definitely look elsewhere if you're just looking for a basic white French-tip mani-pedi.

Let me start off by saying that they left my hands soaking in acetone for over 12 minutes and finally once it started burning I pulled my hands out of the acetone. I will never go to another nail salon that makes you soak your fingertips in acetone for that long in order to remove your dip. The person doing it left me there because they went and waxed to somebody's eyebrows. The dip on my nail is over my cuticle and I asked her to do something about it and she just told me that was the shape of my fingernail. I get my nails done regularly and have for years so I know what the shape of my fingernail is. It was such a disappointing experience. I will say that the pedicure was actually pretty good but the packages they show you don't make a lot of sense. It was 25.00 more than what I normally pay at my regular nail place that does a way better job. I asked for 5 minutes of extra massage that I did not get. If you're not going to do the full massage time you should probably remove the clock from the wall. That's what I get for cheating on my regular nail place and I've learned my lesson. I don't know how it has all these high ratings. If you go there, only go for a pedicure. Never again!

I have given this salon so many chances, but my recent experiences are consistently disappointing…read moreand, sadly, each one worse than the time before. Last month, I waited 15 minutes but this month, I waited one full hour past my scheduled appointment time. It makes me wonder why appointments are even scheduled if they aren't going to be honored. I switched to Anna after months of seeing Tony because he filed my nails so aggressively that he would make me bleed and they do not have antiseptic which is very unsanitary. While Anna's work is generally better, she becomes irritated or argues if you ask her to fix anything. Last three times there have been bubbles or specs in the polish, she consistently over paints over the sides and underneath the nails; and some nails are rounded while some are straight. Last month, she made me bleed with the electric tool. This month, she nicked my skin again with the electric tool. Thankfully, I didn't bleed but it sure hurt! There are brown lines going through the paint. Not sure why or what it is from. Because of the excessive wait and the poor experience, I left a smaller tip last month and this month. She argued with me about the tip last month, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. I don't mind paying for quality service, but I expect appointments to be respected, careful work that doesn't cause injuries, and professional customer service when concerns are brought up. This is what $50 gets you. :(

I went super excited to get my pedicure ready to enjoy my birthday to only come out, upset, crying, and feeling insulted. The man who did my pedicure came up to me looking upset so I decided to make conversation as I always do. I'm a very cheerful person and a very social person. I even complimented his tattoos and smiled and said hello and all he said was OK. When he began on my toes he kept pushing and pulling my leg for my toes to lay down flat. (keep in mind even though I do acknowledge I have flat feet and unfortunately curved toes. I've never had a problem getting a pedicure.) now this man look frustrated with me even after I apologize multiple times. had my chair pushed up so close that I was in an uncomfortable position. He kept pushing my toes down and signing an anger and frustration. He kept pulling my toes and then getting upset with me when I would cramp up and moved because I couldn't stay in that position that he wanted. finally, after being in so much pain, I told him " I'm so sorry my toes just don't stay like that. This is really uncomfortable" with almost tears in my face, and instead of fixing his position and or hiring his chair he yelled at me, saying just look away, waving his arm at me upset. He said it's so loudly that a person sitting two chairs away from me. Tried to comfort me by saying mine tells me that all the time. I tried to stay still as possible so he wouldn't yell at me again. He only had the massage part left, and I thought to myself finally maybe a few minutes I can relax. He started my timer, then began to fix things on his cart with about two minutes left on the timer he began my massage, tapped my legs and said there. At that point I just wanted to leave. I asked him how much he pointed to the front and said pay up there and walked away. He made me feel humiliated and uncomfortable.
