This is a loft-like 2 story, well laid out and well stocked antique mall with something for everyone; from cheap-o garage sale bric-a-brac, to art objects to rare collectibles of every kind. Great used art, history and coffee table book section at excellent prices, too. There are tons of vendor spaces and prices are very good overall; every vendor space is priced different of course, depending on the owner. I always find some real great things at a price I like. Plenty of parking, friendly employees, fun music, well lit, with lots of nooks and crannies to explore and find a treasure. Don't miss upstairs... I did first visit, even though it is well marked. I usually stop here on my way to Mr. Lee's Noodles in Easton, PA. And if you haven't tried THAT and like ramen, you need to check it out. See ya there!

It's mostly full of the same tired merchandise you can find at any other "antique" mall around the country. But there was one piece I did really like, perched high on a shelf, in a far corner of the store. I couldn't see a price so I asked the employee at the front desk--Doris. Doris was nice enough during the ensuing ordeal, but her superiors are the clowns in this equation. Doris photographed the piece and said she would get a price for me. A few minutes later, I was quoted a price of $125. I said that's fine with me, and I thought we had a deal. When I returned from the second floor, the piece had been retrieved from the shelf. It was covered in dust and a bit more damaged than I realized at first, but I was still going to stick with the deal. However, Doris informed me she could no longer sell me the piece for $125 because there was a gallery sticker on the reverse that said $1200. This is where the real unprofessional clownery really started. I told her that was just an art gallery price from back when it was new and undamaged, it in no way reflects its current value. I told her I thought we had a deal and this was very unprofessional. It was then that I was informed she did not text the owner/dealer of the piece, rather the manager of the store. The manager texted back again that the new asking price would be $800. I said that's ridiculous, we had a deal at $125, now you expect me to pay almost 6.5 times our original deal. Doris kept pointing to the gallery sticker on the back with the $1200 price tag, as if that had any real relevance to the situation. Doris tried to frame it as if I was getting a special discount since the piece was damaged. The piece was pretty severely damaged and covered in dust--I was probably the first person to ever ask about it. I told Doris I did still like the piece despite all the unprofessionalism exhibited by the management so far, and counter-offered $300--more than fair, considering we'd already made a deal at $125. The manager then texted back that the piece was no longer for sale. The manager said she believed it belonged to the owner of the mall. Now here's the best part: I was informed the owner does not like to be bothered, and they are not allowed to call him to ask about prices. Imagine owning a business and being so indifferent and inconsiderate toward your customers -- the people that keep your business running -- that you can't even price merchandise, let alone give 60 seconds of your time for a phone call. Now looking at other reviews, I can imagine I may get a reply to this review from the mall. They will probably try to make it sound like they were giving me a deal, like they were doing me a favor. They'd probably say something like, "Well, this is a piece that the gallery had priced at $1200, and after Googling, you can see similar pieces sell for up to $xxxx." And to that, I say this: I did look at auction records later that night. No piece from this artist has ever sold for more than about $600--and that's in *mint* condition--while most pieces sell in the $1-$300 range. This piece was far from mint condition. Classic case of someone with access to Google, a thimble full of knowledge, and a giant ego. I think in psychological terms they call this the Dunning-Kruger effect. So in closing, I reiterate: do not waste your time. If you want a pleasant vintage/antique shopping experience, visit Lambertville, NJ. It's a beautiful town with many antique malls, restaurants, and even hiking/biking trails. You could make a day there, or even a weekend. Only visit this mall if you're a glutton for punishment.

The following review is my opinion of my experience in taking my grandmother's clock there to get the 8 day key winding mechanism repaired, which had stopped running. The clock had recently been hanging on my wall for several years, where it was regularly looked at and admired by both myself and my family members who remembered it hanging in my grandmother's home for over 50 years. The clock was taken to Kathy's Kove where it was looked over by Kathy and I was quoted a price of $125 for the repair. I was told that the clock would be given to another individual who does the actual repair work. I agreed, and the clock was left with Kathy. Several days later, I received a call saying that if I wanted the original mechanism repaired, it would now cost several hundreds of dollars, but that they could remove the mechanism and replace it with a quartz (battery) mechanism. I was not happy about this turn of events, but the clock has sentimental value to me, and I would like to keep it running so I agreed to have it switched over to a battery mechanism. A couple of weeks after that, I received a call that my clock was ready to be picked up. When I went to the shop, my clock was laid out on a table. The first thing I noticed was that a sizable piece of decorative molding circling the clock face was now missing. I immediately brought this to Kathy's attention, and she brushed off my concern by saying something to the effect, "Oh, it was probably like that when you brought it in, and you probably just didn't notice." OH, REALLY??? I had this clock hanging on my wall for several years, and looked at it all the time. I THINK I WOULD HAVE NOTICED A LARGE PIECE OF MISSING MOLDING BY NOW!!! I noticed that a photocopied picture had been taken of the damaged area, and stapled to the receipt I was handed when I picked up the clock. This photo was taken at some point AFTER I left the clock in their care. No photos were taken of the clock when I dropped it off, because there was no damage to note at that time! Of course, there is nothing I can do now except live with the damage, as these kinds of situations are their word against yours. They of course just claim the clock was damaged when it was entrusted to them, but I know it was not. And that is where things will unfortunately have to be left. But I can inform and warn others of my experience, and advise that if you have a clock that needs repair, especially if it is a treasured family piece that you have a sentimental attachment to, that you seek out another place to get it repaired. If you entrust a clock here, you do so at your own peril. I of course will not patronize these people again.

Not sure if it's a cooperative or not; there were different rooms, and different locked cases, so I had the feeling that it might be. There was quite a bit of jewelry in the cases, as well as a collection of Steiff stuffed tigers and dogs, a wonderful pile of 1940s-50s tablecloths and other textiles, various ceramics including Stangl and a collection of wall pockets, a collection of Waterford crystal, and a whole lot of seashells. And it definitely WAS! This is an unusual store. They sell unique, eclectic furniture--lots of mid-century stuff--as well as things that will make you go "Huh? Did I really see that?" They have a lot of glassware, as well as very unusual lighting, and artwork that includes neon light tubing. I noticed a 1950's green glass vase that I loved, sets of drinking glasses, some really unusual lamps, a vintage radio, glass ashtrays, and of course the furniture. The collection of ashtrays reminded me of a time before everyone stopped smoking for their health. I wish I could list more of the items that were for sale, but I was blown away by the overall look, and wound up talking with the owner instead of taking careful notes on the merchandise. The owner who I spoke with is an artist who's done a lot of different things, and his art background shows in that the goods in the shop are not something you will find elsewhere. The building it's in has a wonderful stained glass door at the front, but you enter at the side from a gravel parking lot. From the outside, Golden Rainbow Antiques looked interesting. Outside the building there's a…read morecluster of garden statues, some pink plastic flamingoes (faded to beige by the sun), and a half-hidden commercial jukebox. Inside, there were lots of glass items (including a lamp with an amazing green glass base, and a stained glass shade that just didn't seem to go with the base). I noticed a full size figure of a knight in armor, an enamel coffee-pot made into a lamp base, a child size piano, a clarinet in its carrying case. There were some painted Indonesian wood sculptures, a collection of ceramic dogs (heavy on French poodles, but some other breeds as well), a collection of ceramic roosters, and lots more ceramic and glass items. It's a small space, and felt a bit cramped. There were some advertising items, some ceramic planters, and a couple of shelves of Hall china. Some items were priced, but many had no indication of price (which always makes me think the merchant wants to price it based on how much it looks like the customer can pay). All in all a small shop, filled with many items, mostly "smalls."
