My friends and I went in on a Saturday afternoon(8/16)to try out the New BBQ-we all wanted to try the Rib Tips which comes with a side. They also had Summer Cocktails, some domestic beer in tap such as Coors Light and Blue Moon if you're not into Brewery Beer. The Rib Tips were about a 3.5 if I was rating them 1-5. A little tough and fatty, the bbq sauce was good which I believe the cook makes himself. We loved the fries, they were kind of like shoestring fries, they were light and crispy. You order the BBQ up at their kitchen window and they give you a pager for when your food is ready. It's separate from ordering your drinks but they can merge it once you have a tab with the bar. They set up a few lounge areas by the kitchen window area, and they have a dance floor with high top tables chairs for when they do country line dancing and/or have bands. Overall a fun atmosphere that doggies are welcome to attend.

If you are looking for a great bar in the local Topeka area to hang out with friends, this is the place for you. The staff is amazing! Friendly, knowledgeable, and innovative. Not only were they able to serve our table of 10 the drink of their choice but they were able to create a non alcoholic drink me on the spot. I enjoyed my time there. A plus is you can bring your dog!

Happy Basset Brewing was a great treat. Great service and beer. We were there on a Harvest Host stay and enjoyed our time.

Welp, I've never seen a hundred middle-aged white folks dancing to Poison until I walked into this unorthodox establishment, so there's that... We arrived while an 80s cover band was playing, but it was mostly hair metal, not 80s pop, and the crowd was loud and boisterous. We slid into some empty stools at the end of a communal table, but a couple came from the dance floor after a rousing rendition of "Fight for Your Right" and asked us to give them up; apparently they'd called dibs but left nothing there to indicate such. We waited for a couple seats to open up at the bar, and struggled to communicate with the bartender over the loud music. A few folks near the door and on the patio had brought dogs, but I wouldn't recommend it on 80s night; it's not exactly a laid-back vibe. Beer was okay, the place was understaffed, and the bartenders were uninterested in helping us. I'm not interested in going back.

Happy Basset Brewing is one of the best dog friendly breweries I have ever been too. Besides the outdoor fenced in dog area which encloses the outside patio deck and a fireplace but don't forget about the corn hole game. The Owner and staff are extremely helpful and friendly too. Make sure to save some appetite for Tim Miller's "Beyond Q" BBQ and other food samplings too. Everything was delicious, efficient, and "Happy"! Enjoy...

Great Sunday brunch buffet with a fantastic mimosa flight and great red beers. The company wasn't too bad either. We love supporting local so when dogs are allowed, it makes the whole experience even better.

Great selection of beer with something for everyone. I enjoy the Stouts while my wife likes the Strawberry Blonde. Wednesday night they have meaty smoked wings.

What a fun spot! I wish they did more with their logo, some of the shirts aren't really worth buying. The beers are, though! Came here after eating some lunch and was pleasantly surprised with the beer selection. One of the more interesting beers was out but the secondary choice was fun & funky as well.

Here for the evening in Topeka and had to stop by a brewery with a dog mascot! I came to the 29th location because it was closest to my hotel. Honestly the bartender was super sweet, I sat at the bar alone, and the beer was very good for an IPA. I especially love $5 pints! I only gave it 4 stars because it was a little underwhelming. Maybe the other location is where most of the amazing reviews are from??

If you are looking for some damn good bbq, check out the Happy Bassett Barrel House location (off of 49th). I tried this past weekend and was thoroughly impressed! I believe the full bbq menu is only offered on Saturdays as of now. Great locally brewed beer as well.

I'm more of a whiskey guy. But it is a good place to go with co workers and have some fun and relaxing conversations.

The chicken however was like rubber. I ate half a small piece and put the rest to the side. My husband had the Pulled Pork platter which is normally good. The meat was really dry. I ate all the pasta and told our server about the chicken being like rubber and she stated that she's mentioned that exact thing to the cooks but that maybe if a customer complains they would possibly listen. What made me a little annoyed though was that I ate none of the chicken yet they didn't at least bump off a few bucks off my meal. The service was fine but I feel like over the years this has become my last choice versus my first choice.

They also extended brunch for us, which was very kind. It was Father's Day, so it was very busy. They also had a pickle ball court and clean bathrooms. We were greeted by our servers, however they only assigned two servers for 40+people. Needless to say our orders took a long time, my daughter-in-law's and mine, being the longest. We ordered the chicken and waffles, but for some reason ours came out about 30 minutes if not more after everyone else's. It was pretty strange. I had to keep asking and we weren't the only ones who ordered that dish. When it finally came, my appetite was actually gone. The waffles were super sweet (I have to watch my sugar intake) and the chicken pieces were small, salty and very dry pieces so I asked for a reimbursement because I didn't like my meal. My niece said hers was just OK. She wasn't impressed. My daughter-in-law did eat hers. The pasta picture attached was my sister's meal. She didn't like the pasta that's why it's still there. She only ate the chicken that was included. Also two of my nieces did not like the Monte Cristo and asked for reimbursement. They said it was the worst day I've ever tasted. Oh I did have a slice of my cousins Mom Pizza and it was different, but delicious. I never had pizza that included potato and honey. In conclusion, it was a great atmosphere and all of the employees were friendly, but many of us did not enjoy our meal. I gave it a four because I don't think it's always like that. I think it was they didn't have enough staff or chefs maybe to take care of us.
