I've been to this location, the Old Town one, several times but never reviewed because life gets in the way sometimes. Cassie who runs the bingo is probably one of the most charismatic and personable people to ever run bingo. I just went here for the first time earlier this week and was thoroughly impressed! The decor was beautiful and the vibes were a ton of fun. This would definitely be a great place to meet a couple of friends or even come to watch sporting events. As a vegetarian, there are also a ton of veggie-friendly pizza options on the menu that are very reasonably priced. Yesterday, after going to several restaurants with no vegan options I was thrilled to find a recommendation for Happy Camper and to see they had vegan options, nice drinks, and an instagram worthy ambiance. Unfortunately, the build your own vegan pizza I ordered was brought out with cheese on. The sever was very apologetic and quickly took the pizza back to see if he could get another one. Also with much disappointment the kitchen had closed. This wasn't too much of an issue. I am just glad I noticed it before eating and appreciated the server's empathy. Understandably so my friends were rather disappointed and requested the manager come over. The manager came over and apologized which I also appreciated. He latter comped the entire tables bill. These are the types of encounters that aren't necessary when dealing with a customer complaint but make all the difference when considering the possibility of returning. Our serve, James (i believe) was attentive, friendly, and gave solid food and drink recommendations which we appreciated. The food was the best part. The elote dip and wings are great starters. Those wings were seasoned to perfection with buffalo sauce that had good flavor with a good kick. I also highly recommend the "ED" pizza. All of this food tasted even more spectacular with drinks. I was a bit scared that the food was going to be okay as it seems like one of those places that focus more on the vibe and drinks than food however that was not the case. It's such a pretty and laid-back and chill type of environment. I never been here before and Jesus was wonderful to me! He was so patient with me and my food ordering and to help with me pick through the different types of Pizzas. Everybody was very polite, from the receptionist, to the DJ everyone was warm and welcoming. It's bigger than I thought, viewing from the outside and is very roomy. If you've been to the Wrigleyville location (or Homeslice), you know the atmosphere. Discoballs, a ceiling filled with twinkle lights, and music a few notches too loud. We came on a Sunday for Bingo and let me tell you...it is a HOOT. This particular Sunday they were raising money for the American Cancer Society, so it's nice to know it's going to a great cause. The host of Bingo was absolutely hilarious, gregarious, and over the top. It's basically a giant roast fest, but it's all in good fun and extremely entertaining. I sipped on a spicy bloody mary, which was topped with a mini slice of pizza! It was fantastic, but my go to drink is the Umbrella, which is a Radler topped with vodka. I split the Tony pizza with a friend and this just might be my new favorite, though I don't think I've ever had a bad one here! The Tony is prosciutto, spinach, caramelized onion, sun-dried tomatoes, balsamic, goat cheese & cream cheese. Aka, it's heaven. I love the crust on all the pizza at Happy Camper, and it complimented this flavor combo perfectly. If you're looking for some laughs, definitely give Sunday Bingo a go! So dang funny. read more

Reallllyyyy wanted to love this place! I've been so excited to try it and waiting for a date night with friends. We finally made it last night and had a great table outside with Ryan as our server. While Ryan was so sweet and worked hard to make us happy, our pizzas were soooo dry we could barely choke them down. I drenched mine in red sauce, which I had to ask for like 3 times because he kept bringing out tiny sides. When the red sauce, Parmesan cheese wasn't enough I tried dropping it in my balsamic dressing and Cesar. Still extremely dry and just nooo flavor even with jalapeños, pineapple and blackened chicken. The crust was good but had zero flavor, kinda resembled a saltine cracker minus the salt. I was so disappointed, I've never been so let down by pizza. Our friends got a different pizza and also had the same issue with it being so dry! We half came here for the beautiful rice crispy ice cream sandwiches we all had been eyeing on Instagram. Wow another disappointment! Yes they look really cute and super cute for the gram, but all four of us found the rice crispies to be extremely stale. The ice cream was okay but just plain vanilla. Fortunately I got a s'mores skillet also for us to all share, this was really good!! Coulda used more cake in it and ice cream but I didn't want to ask our poor server for anything else.
