Great atmosphere for sports! The service at the bar was attentive and our pizza came out real fast. The place was packed during NFL playoffs which made for a real fun environment. We ordered the Hot Honey Soppressata with whipped Ricotta. 10/10 would eat it again. Loved the thin crust and the hot honey was mellowed out by the creamy ricotta cheese. So good! Pickle pizza was unique and yummy. The tots were great and you get a HUGE portion. The patio looked fun but had a pretty long wait so we went inside. The speakers were absolutely blaring making it nearly impossible to have a conversation without yelling. I felt old complaining about the noise but that's just how bad it was. You can go there only if you are willing to wait for two hours. The hosts don't really care and don't try to accommodate the guests.

We came on a Tuesday night for trivia and reserved a few days ahead, noting that we wanted to play. The website listed trivia at 7:30, but when we arrived at 7:15 it had already started. No one let us know the time had changed, which was a disappointing start. The atmosphere was another issue, the bar was extremely loud. We had to yell across the table just to talk, which really killed the trivia vibe. The service, though, was the biggest letdown. Our waitress was one of the rudest I've ever had; condescending, annoyed when someone wasn't ready to order, and dismissive when we had trouble pulling up the menu with the QR code. Our whole group was taken aback. Strangely, halfway through the night, her personality flipped and she became very nice, which made the experience even more confusing. On the upside, the DWTS specials were great! $7 wine and BOGO pizza. The pizza was solid for bar food, and the cookie skillet dessert was honestly fantastic. Overall, the night felt off. The food here doesn't miss. This is the best pizza in the city, in my personal opinion. The staff is great and service has been always top notch! Great pizza spot to go to with a group or to watch sports. We had a group of 7 on a Monday night and were seated immediately. For apps we got the Greek Salad, Garlic Knots, and Jumbo Chicken Tenders. The Greek salad was really good and actually came with lettuce, too, not just chopped veggies. The garlic knots were solid and came with a few sauces. The chicken tenders were the black horse, and I'm not usually the biggest tender girl, but they were really good. For pizzas we got a Ranallis Special and a Hot Honey Soppressata. We were really happy that they were able to take mushrooms off of half the Ranallis Special pizza for us for our friend who doesn't like mushrooms. The Hot Honey Soppressata also wasn't too spicy and I loved the ricotta. I think the special was a little better, but both were really good! read more

Service was quick and there was no wait on a Saturday. I ordered the hot honey soppressata pizza, watermelon tomato salad, and a strawberry basil smash cocktail. While Chicago may be known for their deep dish pizzas, the tavern style pizza shouldn't be missed. Ranalli's has some awesome pizza options and is a fun spot to hangout. They have a super cool patio, that's pretty large and lined with umbrellas. And although it was absolutely my vibe, we had just spent a lot of time in the sun, so we opted to sit inside in the AC. We ordered cocktails, a caesar salad with grilled chicken (which was absolutely delicious), and the super popular hot honey soppressata pizza. We were torn because so many of the pizzas sounded good, but it seemed like most reviews mentioned this one, so we had to give it a try. All around everything was pretty solid. We didn't love our cocktails, but they were still good enough. Pizza was good and easily devoured by us. Service was super friendly, you could tell that the bar was slammed with drink orders, but the bartender made a point to acknowledge us and let us know our drinks were coming up, same with our server and our food. Fair prices and portions, as well as a variety to order from the menu - burgers, salads, appetizers, and of course their iconic pizzas. Ordered the largest size and had leftovers, even sharing with two other people. Highly recommend the Hot Honey Sopresseta pizza because it has the savory from the sopresseta but a light sweetness from the hot honey and the cheese. Avoid this place. I brought a group of friends visiting from out of town to Rinaldi's in Lincoln Park and it turned into one of the most uncomfortable and disappointing restaurant experiences I've had in Chicago. We waited over two hours for a table on a busy night. We understood it was crowded and were patient about it. While we were waiting, the staff told us to get drinks and appetizers at the bar while our table was being prepared, so we did exactly that. After spending hours there and already ordering food and drinks like they suggested, the staff suddenly decided one person in our group was "too drunk" and kicked our entire group out instead of seating us. She had one drink and had simply slipped slightly while walking. The way it was handled was incredibly rude and dismissive. There was no conversation or attempt to handle the situation professionally -- just an abrupt decision to remove us after we had already been there for hours. To make the situation even worse, during all of this my best friend realized she had lost her grandfather's ring, which has huge sentimental value. When we asked the staff if we could look around the bar area or if anyone could help us check for it, they were completely unhelpful and brushed us off while rushing us out. So after waiting two hours, spending money at the bar like they told us to, being spoken to disrespectfully, and losing something incredibly meaningful, we were essentially pushed out the door. It was honestly embarrassing to bring friends visiting from out of town somewhere that treated guests this way. There are plenty of restaurants in Lincoln Park that value their customers' time and treat people with basic respect. I would strongly recommend going somewhere else. Stopped by on a Saturday night and was immediately seated! Amazing! Extensive menu that ranges from pizza, to pasta, to American fare as well. I LOVED that they were already decorated for Christmas. What I enjoyed most is that this place felt authentic to ~itself~ and not trying to be pretentious. I appreciated the casual atmosphere. I ordered capellini with clam sauce. Though they informed me that they were out of clams in the shell, they compensated with lots of chopped clams. That was great. However, the white sauce was overpowered with oregano. I needed a lot of parm cheese to balance it out. Overall, the portion was large and I might try an allavodka sauce next time. We also had calamari which was PERFECT. Came here for lunch with a group of friends after hitting up the Lincoln Park farmer's market on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered 4 pizzas, 2 gluten free and 2 non-gluten free. The pizzas came out quick and were all amazing, and it was really nice to see that the gluten free pizzas came baked in their own individual metal pan to avoid cross contamination! Absolutely recommend this place! Only problem I have is deciding if this location is better than their West Loop location... both phenomenal and service was great. The bartender went out of his way to make sure we were hydrated & had plenty to drink. Really appreciate that! We order the Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza (of course!), wings, and cheese curds, this combination never seems to disappoint. I want to try something new on the menu, because everytime I try a different side it's delicious BUT I know I'll regret not getting the Hot Honey Soppressata Pepperoni haha tough decision. My go to pizza place when I come home after traveling. Delicious thin crust, fresh and creative toppings. I like their hot honey, my husband is the traditional sausage, mushroom and onion. My son likes their spicy meat pizza, my daughter likes their arugula pizza. All their servers that we encountered were friendly, and helpful. The place is basically a sports bar, loads of TVs and free shuttle service to the united center when there is a game. She was dressed in a "PARKE" sweatshirt, the one every single girl wears so it was impossible to spot her. Visited last weekend on a whim, picked a crazy busy Friday night, but it once again delivered. GREAT service, and I mean REALLY great, from our server at the bar, who turns out to be the daughter of a former co-worker from way back.
