Our family has been part of the Happy Days Cupertino community for over two years -- both of our kids attend -- and it's been one of the best decisions we've made as parents. The open layout lets children of different ages interact naturally, and watching our two spot each other across the yard is the best part of our day. The 1:4 teacher-to-infant ratio, daily written activity logs, and classroom cameras gave us real peace of mind. Watching our baby hit every milestone with teachers cheering them on made the hardest part of going back to work so much easier. It was so hard when my daughter and I got sick often in the first few months, but the teachers were incredibly helpful in navigating that season. + POTTY TRAINING SUPPORT: Our oldest started in the transition classroom before being potty trained. The teachers were patient, encouraging, and never made it stressful -- for our child or for us. We had a wonderful experience at Happy Days and highly, highly recommend it. We were part of the community from August 2021 to August 2025. Our youngest attended from six months old until smoothly transitioning to TK last month. We got to know every classroom and teacher, all of whom are professional, kind, experienced, and well-matched to the ages they care for. We really appreciate the attention to detail for kids' daily and developmental experience, and the level of coordination required to provide such a consistently high experience. Because we started daycare during COVID, we especially appreciated the cleanliness of the facility, having two doors/classroom, plenty of backup care options if a teacher was out, and the outdoor play spaces (including a covered play space so they can still run around when it's raining!) We love the sanity-saving healthy lunch/snack program, the flexible hours, the year-round holiday celebrations and fun themes, the consistent communication, and warm generosity of the staff - especially Ms. Stephanie, who worked with us on everything from bottle transitions and naps to talking back and art projects. I wish we'd known about Happy Days when my older child was in daycare. I highly recommend to any family - this place is so worth it, especially for dual-career couples who don't have endless work flexibility. I sent my child here for 1.5 years, from age 7 months to 2 years. I took her out to stay home, because we were able to do this. Happy days gave me the piece of mind that my daughter was being cared for my capable experienced people while I had to be at work. I don't think they hire beginners for the infant class, all of the teachers had many years of experience - some even had decades of experience. This really made me feel safe there. Keep in mind, daycare will almost never be as good as at home. It's a shared space, and kids are chaotic. They juggle the chaos well, they listen to your concerns and act on them right away. The infant room was the best I could find for my budget (and even better than some more expensive places IMO) - they don't have swings so they won't just stuff them in the swing all day, they have camera you can view (not of sleeping area though), they check the sleeping child every 15 mins and sign it off (i have observed this several times over the year I was in that class). As someone who was so paranoid about safe sleep, Happy Days checked all the boxes for me. We changed to the transitional toddler class when one teacher was in her last days and the new teacher started. There was a little bit of growing pains with this transition, but I was really impressed with this class. This class provides a really good foundation of classroom dynamics for the kids - they teach them to sit at the table together, to sit in their chairs and stay in the chairs at circle time. And of course they get lots of play time, it's not all academics! I think it was a good mix of structure and play. My daughter is very spirited and loud and doesn't always sleep, and they were so patient with her always. If I have to work again, I'd be happy to bring my daughter back here. read more

My two kids were enrolled at Happy Days Cupertino from January 2022 - June 2025, starting with the infant room and moving up through the preschool program. We had an amazing time here! My kids were well-cared for, engaged, and learned so much every day. The director, Stephanie, is very responsive and easy to work with. The teachers that we had were all fantastic and most had been at Happy Days for many years. The class sizes are also on the smaller side, so I know that my kids received a lot of individual attention and help from their teachers. Happy Days Child Development Center in Santa Clara is a stellar early childhood education program. Their program is top notched in the Silicon Valley. My son was a student at Happy Days. In his first days going to school, we had some "separation anxiety". As parents, we were not ready to get him into a school environment and our son was not ready to get weaned off from "mommy daycare", but we had to go back to work. Dr. Marmen Mendoza and the team of teachers made it very easy for us to transition him to this new environment. They have set up a plan where we can drop him off without a hitch. Ms. Meena and the staff just know what to do and they do it best. We were impressed with their hands-on curriculum as it promotes learning using all sensory functions. He especially liked doing artwork to show it off to his family and friends. We were astonished to see all the creative work our son did as it was exhibited at the major events at school, to name a few: Diwali, Thanksgiving, Trick or Treat, the Holidays, Independence Day, St. Patrick's, President's Day, Spring Festival, and many more events in between led by Ms. Mila. Our son still talks about their field trip to the Planetarium, the Emma Prusch Farm, Animal Petting at the Zoo, etc. The campus is safe and secure. The complex is fully fenced up, the front door has a special closing & locking system, and everyone keeps a good eye on all the students. I always feel ease in leaving my precious son in their care. What can I say about the food the food they serve? I appreciate the fact that they pay great attention to proper nutrition and healthy eating habits. Up to this point, my son still remembers enjoying the hot meals, Lentil Soup, freshly cut fruits, etc. lovingly prepared by Ms. Freketa. Play time was special. I had fond memories of playing in the age-appropriate playgrounds supervised by Ms. Najibeh. It was always fun seeing my son having a great time playing, running, biking, and other outdoor activities with the other children. To say the least, my son had a wonderful experience at Happy Days. Because of this, his transition to first grade was easy. It is an understatement to say that we, as a family, had a wonderful time with lots of happy memories at Happy Days. From time to time, we still visit Happy Days to see the lifelong friends we made! Indeed, we had a lot of happy days at Happy Days! Was looking for summer day care for my 5yo. I have a 2 week gap due to previously planned vacation. They bill prorated based on a monthly fee however they do do charge a registration fee of $150. I get a detailed breakout of the cost which is very much appreciated then I see two registration fees solely because of a 2 week gap. WTF I also was quoted a drop in rate. i'm rating this place solely based on their nickel diming. Just because i'm out for 2 weeks you want to charge me a second registration fee for what? My family has been incredibly fortunate to receive care for our 3 kids over the last 8 years (now ages 12, 10 and 5). At Happy Days our kids have created some of their happiest childhood memories (the name is a great fit!), learned and prepared for their next step in school. One way as a parent to see that your kids love a care place is to see them at the end of the day that they want to stick around there and just play for just a few minutes more - that happened over and over again at Happy Days. I honestly don't how they do it but suspect the magic starts with the incredible dedication and love for children from the center's director Stephanie. The teachers are phenomenal, they genuinely love the kids, have tremendous patience with them and help them grow literally every step of the way. Over the course of 3 years, our two children attended Happy Days, mostly in the infant rooms. We made the difficult decision to withdraw and move them to a bilingual daycare to learn another language. My kids enjoyed their time here and felt comfortable, cared for and safe, which gave us peace of mind. Ms. Stephanie, the center director, is easy to talk to and work with. And the infant room teachers, Ms. Safija, Ms. Maryam and Ms. Fibi are fantastic. They are great with managing the littles and getting them on a consistent schedule. Ms. Rosy and Ms. Maria have also been there for a while and are awesome. Ms. Rosy was very helpful with drop off transitions, which my older, sensitive child had a difficult time with. Special shout out to Ms. Laura as well for cooking great meals and then helping out in the rooms! All of the staff always greet the children with smiles. Aside from the great staff, there is ample space and time for children and infants to run/crawl around outside and just be kids. Happy Days also offers video viewing of the rooms and play area, which is a nice way to check on your kids throughout the day. It's been a pleasure sending our kids here. read more

I really wanted to like this place but had a horrible experience. I'll share what I saw/heard, you make the conclusions. I specifically went to see 0-24 month groups. I saw two classrooms: in both, - babies were crying, looked like they were in a zoo or prison, saw only 2-3 teachers and they were totally checked out, We were visitors and they were not even trying to show us they care for the kids, they were just sitting on the floor while 2 of the kids were in opposite sides of the classroom crying :(( - another baby was trying to put himself to sleep while crying - awful odor and humid climate as soon as you walk in. Same in actual classrooms, babies and kids were eating all kinds of toys, nobody was rushing to clean them now I know why kids get sick, sharing uncleared toys they teeth on - the directors was so loud, she didn't have any self awareness of her loud voice nor if the dirty environment nor did she pause when we saw the two kids crying in each side of the classroom, she was just giving her "shpeel" - director giving us a tour commented on our baby being big we noted it's 9 months, she asked if he was mobile, we said not yet because he is a much bigger baby, the director said " oh my 2 kids were also very big but they walked by the time they were 8 months haha" no self awareness whatsoever - the floor mats were disguising they had stains and mud on them, I asked - how often do you clean them? She said "well, on a good sunny day once in a while we will clean them out there" I asked about a specific cleaning schedule, they didn't have one, I told her in California it's sunny every day and it's quite concerning you don't clean something so obviously dirty, she just smiled and tried not to respond back. Beyond the dirty environment, the sad children, and the lack of awareness of the person managing this place, I felt truly sorry for all the parents leaving their kids there. I felt sorry for the sad crying kids inside. The kids that were 4-5 years old seemed better but 18-24 months oh my, I haven't seen even a sadder zoo. I wish I could do something about this. Even if it cost 0$, even if they paid me $3000 to leave my child there, I would not do it. These short 15 minutes I spent visiting the facility and the 15 minutes I'm spending now to write a review I felt was important to share, are the last I'd leave there. read more

I am so glad that I found this wonderful school for my kids. My daughter started when she was 8 months old in room 2 with Ms Jenny and Ms Febe. She has transitioned through room 3 and is now in room 5 as a 3 year old. She is so fond of Ms Rosy and Ms Sarita. She loves it here and never wants to leave. Even on the weekend she asks if she can go to school. My son started in room 4 with Ms Tatiana and Ms Kim and went through room 7. Ms Stephanie (Director) has created such a great, fun and safe space for our kids. They always feel loved and have grown into confident independent individuals. The pre-k program in room 7 is incredible and my son is now breezing through Kindergarten. I like that this school is well rounded and play and creativity is just as important as academics. We opted for both kids to have school lunch. I like that the meals are prepared on site and the kids can eat as much as they want. They are well balanced and always a good variety. Finding a responsible, safe and loving place for our kids is such a weight of our shoulders. We know that our kids are in great hands and it is such a relief that we found Happy Days! read more

We love Happy Days. I'm so sad that we are leaving for Kindergarten. Each room has a head teacher with Co-teachers to make sure they keep ratio. The girls are lovely- in our almost 4 years with two boys here we have hit just about every classroom and we have only ever had an issue with 1 teacher and she was sent on her way fairly quickly. The staff is diverse in terms of ethnicity, and the only ones not represented in our time there have been male or black teachers, but I believe that's due to a lack of applicants rather than an intentional choice. No issues there. The student population is fairly ethnically diverse as well, as it serves the Apple Campus. That's not to say we are all Apple parents, but it does give you an idea of the population it serves. Academics are on point and age appropriate, I would be shocked if my boys are not able to keep up anywhere else. My boys are ACTIVE and drop off can be hard sometimes but the teachers are wonderful. They really get to know the kids are recognize how to interact with them to make them feel loved, safe, and happy. My youngest son is a bit headstrong and he has his issues but even with his misbehaving I come to pick him up he's in someone's lap getting some love at story time. I had my son at Happy Days from 4 months old until he was almost three years old. Ms Geni, Ms Fibi and Ms Andrea were really great with him. They were warm and friendly to us and our son. I loved to watch the video feed to watch them dance and hug the little ones. It made me feel good to see that they really care about the kids. It's been several months since we pulled him out to stay home with me, and he is still asking to go visit. If I go back to work, this is the first place I'm going to call for daycare. read more

ok so my 3 year old went here for the first time, and on his second day I dropped in at 1pm as I'd forgotten to bring a blanket for hime. Apparently, he was causing trouble by not napping with all the other kids (when he doesn't normally nap while at home), while sweeping up was going on around him and toys were available. So many distractions, so much excitement, and he was expected to sleep. Perhaps allowing him to play quietly in the corner might have been more productive. After this, the director decided that my child was "having trouble settling in", deciding he needed constant attention as he needed more than no-attention at lunchtime, and then having the audacity to try and upsell us to full time. We won't be going back. Also, I don't believe that the quotas advertised were maintained throughout the day. You can also see the staff hanging chatting around while children drag at each other if you watch the webcam in the afternoon. Look elsewhere. Also - don't pay for their webcam, you can view it for free if you have the right details (ask other parents). read more

I have a baby that has been in this daycare from 6 month to 12 month. We were with Ms Febi in classroom2. The infant care was standard, my baby was sick for the winter, and we decided to transfer him to a smaller daycare. Because he is sick again this month, I asked for money back without 30 day notice. This was unusual, but Ty Bash, the operation manager helped me with the process. He was very knowledgeable for how children's sickness spread and he gave me many good advice. I am impressed by his speedy and kind reply to my request. I am happy that this place operates under trusty and good management. read more

I visited probably over 25 schools trying to find the right one for our little one. Found places that were gross, with teachers that didn't seem interested, some even smelled, or some were bilingual in languages we don't speak. On Thursday before having to put him in preschool before starting work on Monday my husband told me about Happy Days close to his job. I went to check it out the same day, yes they gave me an appointment the same day, and right then and there registered him. He's been there for over a month now and I couldn't be happier. The place is so clean, you can never smell a dirty diaper, the teachers are super nice, and my little one hugs them every day when he comes in. They have a webcam which allows me to watch him during the day when I miss him. They also do a lot of activities where parents can participate. The student to ratio is small, the smallest I found in all schools I visited. And they have an indoor playground which allows the kids to play outside when it's raining, really wonderful during winter time. Could it be cheaper? Yes it could, but is it possible to run a place like this in conditions for cheaper? probably not. We go to the one in Cupertino and I would recommend anyone looking for a school in that area to check them out! read more

The director, Stephanie, has been with the school for many years as well as many of the teachers. We love Happy Days in Cupertino and had great experiences with both of our girls in the infant classroom. We had each of them attend the infant classroom from around 3-4 months old and we adored the teachers. They were so sweet and loving and very good at communicating about their day and giving advice when needed. We also appreciated the access to a live video feed, in case we missed seeing them during the day. Our girls were always happy at drop-off and pick-up and thrived during their time at Happy Days. Our family is so thankful to have found this gem of a school. This school has so much to offer! Both my kids attended this center and we loved everything about it. My girls started at 11 months and stayed until 4.5 and 3 yrs. the teachers are awesome, the Director Ms. Stephanie is very hands on and my girls truly learned a lot. Some good teachers, but I'm not happy with the management attitude lately. Granted running a preschool may be taxing, but attitude, quality teacher retention, facility maintenance and hiring decisions must weigh in. Initially I'd have given 5 stars due to the quality of teachers in the infant room but after a year of observation of how the facility is run my opinion has changed. After a number of incidents in which unqualified staff was hired and issues went unnoticed until brought to attention, I'd drop the rating down to 2 stars. What can I say, for $1460 a month my expectations are high. The viewing camera that I pay for should work and staff should be well vetted. There are a lot of other good options in Cupertino emerging. This is the best place for your child. Our daughter went here from 8 months till 2.5 years old. All teachers are really great!!! She will never have any concerns of going to the daycare - she loved the place. It would be difficult to get her back home. We originally started to have an internet feed for the room but later we found that the place and people are so great that you really do not need it. The rooms are really clean and airy everything is well organized. Our daughter learnt colors, reading, etc all at Happy Days. There are lot of toys and a lot of open places for kids to run around. The team is really awesome!! If we had no need to move our home we would have continued our daughter here. We still have our two daughters at Happy Days during COVID. The older one started when she was one year old and our youngest started over a year ago. We have always been impressed with how much our daughters enjoy their friends and teachers at Happy Days. My daughter started Kindergarten this year in the COVID environment and thankfully Happy Days has been able to accommodate virtual learning amongst the kindergarteners. They attend their virtual classes with the assistance of the Happy Days teachers and also get to spend time playing with their Happy Days classmates. It has provided a sense of normalcy for our kindergartener. We are thankful that Ms. Stephanie, Ms Zahra, Ms. Rosie, Ms. Luz, Ms. Laura, Ms. Andrea, Ms. Sereima, and all the teachers at Happy Days have created such a safe, nurturing, and educational program for our daughters. We are so happy with the care that we get at Happy Days! My eldest started around 16 months and my youngest started at 4 months and both love their teachers and environment. Ms. Safija, Ms. Tias, Ms. Maryam, Ms. Andrea, and Ms. Jasmin are all so warm and loving and good at giving updates about their days. My eldest does lots of arts and crafts, loves running around in their outdoor play area, and is learning a lot from the teachers. My youngest loves all the attention he gets from the staff and crawling around outside in the large outdoor area for the younger ones. Providing an update as I now have my 2 year old attending Happy Days CDC (Off Saich Way in Cupertino). As soon as our little one arrived, I knew we would have him at Happy Days for daycare/preschool. Our past experience here made it a very easy decision even though I did revisit other facilities to see if i could stretch our finances. Everything was the same when I paid them a first visit with our little guy. He was so excited to see so many kids enjoying themselves - riding trikes, playing with big lego blocks, running around the small play-sets, reading books, playing with the train set, etc. It's a very stimulating environment and I knew it would be great for him. Classrooms were the same as before - daily schedules were the same as I remember and it actually brought comfort to me as I knew the classroom routines really worked well with most toddler's schedule. It was also very nice to see so many familiar teachers/aides as from when my oldest went there. Turnover of staff is very low and it did bring comfort to me as I gave them updates on how my oldest is now in 3rd grade. My toddler has been there for about 8 months now and all that matters to me is that when I pick him up - he's one of the happiest kids who's been running around. read more

Our daughter went to Happy Days at Cupertino for 5 years. It was not an easy task to find a daycare we felt comfortable with. After seeing several places we decided on Happy Days. We loved the internal open space where kids from different ages could interact. As the bay area is a beautiful mix of people coming from all over the world, we were happy about the daycare openness to share the variety of cultures through celebrations. I must admit my wife and I learned from these experiences too. We also felt that the daycare leadership and teachers took a positive approach whenever our child needed help. The combination of it all gave us confidence and peace of mind. We know our daughter loved the place. We kept on visiting the daycare and kept catching up with the teachers even after our daughter went to 1st grade. She carries great memories and friendships from Happy Days till this day. I am a very happy parent of a Happy Days Cupertino graduate and I will be bringing my infant there in the summer. This school has been wonderful with my family. We have always felt comfortable with the staff as well as the management and loved the diversity in the school which I'm sure helped my child be more accepting of new faces, cultures, and languages. She had plenty of time to explore and play but learned to follow a structured classroom schedule. This school doesn't seem to be big from outside but it is pretty decent size and clean place. My kid Riya is 4 went to room 7, which is usually for older kids and I am very happy with my choice. Ms. Janet from Rm-7 is extremely good ,trained with years of experience which makes a big difference. She trained my daughter with discipline and academics by being kind- and I see a big improvement. i was very much a parent at happy days and my experiences are true and were horrible to go through. Also, my friend who had a son the same age as my son noticed the teachers would do the same to another boy in the class who was having difficulty potty training. they would rush to change his clothes upon noticing that the parent was coming. read more

Happy days has good infant rooms but poor learning environment for toddlers and older. We our kids at Happy Days for 4 years. It was a very positive place until 2010 when management fell apart. The school administrators treat the teachers very poorly. The teachers had no control over their schedule. The teachers would be told where to go or even not bother to come to work with just 1 day notice, depending on the number of kids in the school. As the result, the teacher turn over is very high. It is not unusual to have new teachers in a room every few days or weeks. The oral and written language skill of many of the teachers is marginal. The biggest problem with this school is management. Because they treat the teachers so poorly, they are not able to recruit and retain good teachers. read more

My son went there at 3, he had an accident around the eye area and I didn't even get an accident report. Later on, he really hated going to school, and he started getting scared of other kids easily. For example, when he was playing on a slide in a park and saw another kids coming, he would rush down the slide, and got away quickly. We left happy days soon after and he is still kind of scared of other kids after 2 months. read more

Happy Days has a staff that genuinely cares about children and their development. The facility is very clean, has multiple layers of doors for security and an efficient Internet classroom viewing option. My son has attended since he was 8 months old an the infant rooms and teachers are great. He is now 2 years old and he is experiencing a very well rounded curriculum and play time. The director and staff are always visible and friendly. Even teachers of (much) older children know my son and welcome him by name. They have a convenient schedule from 7:00am to 6:00pm. Happy Days embraces all cultures and celebrates all religious holidays while educating the kids about them. The parent community is friendly and caring. My kid joined Happy Days since this January. He is a slow-warming-up person. At first two weeks, he felt frustrated because of the unfamiliar environment. The teachers are patient and nice, the materials are fun and interesting. Gradually, I saw him changing. By now he is very happy going to the class and enjoys the learning and activities. He is very comfortable with teachers, students in his room, he also greets with every teacher. Happy kids also encourages diversity and create unique ways to celebrate holidays of various cultures. As parents, I am very grateful to the teachers and the healthy, cooperative environment in Happy kids. I highly recommend Happy kinds. read more
