I found Groomingdales using Yelp and it's two miles from my house. I was greeted by friendly staff who seemed to really care About me and my dog's health issues. The front of the shop is small but cute with toys and things for dogs and t- shirts for the dog lovers. I received a text when Stella was ready to be picked up less than three hours later. I figured out in time he was the vet. I had to bring up all the preventative things. His answers were short and impatient. Anyways we got shots. One thing I didn't like was him sticking a thing up my dogs butt without asking first. I get it. Things need to be done. But in talking with family I could have just collected a sample. Either way I think they should consent with the owner. The last straw was trying to get help with a simple issue. They did not resolve it for 17 days. Anyways yeah we have already switched vets

My older dog had her first seizure a week before we were set to leave on our two week honeymoon and I was so nervous to board her but Bobby reassured me she would be taken care of and that they would give her extra love and attention. I would recommend this place to everyone and am sad that we wont be able to use them anymore due to us moving out of state. My dogs were always excited when we pulled up and were clearly happy to see the staff.

He also smelled like urine and was extremely dirty. We dropped him off with about 11 to 12 days worth of food for a 10 day stay and he came back with half of his container full. I know the owner has had some medical conditions recently but it seems that the business is going down hill. If the owner is the only male staff member and you can't get the dog into the washing station. Maybe hire another male staff member to handle strong dogs that the female staff members can't. The staff tried to tell us that it was separation anxiety but he's known the staff and the facility since he was a puppy. I'll be finding a different boarder for the future.

I was sure a car ride would kill her. I called numerous vet clinics and the soonest anyone would come out was a month from now. This Veterinarian came right away and gave her an exam and treated her with meds. And the price was unbelievably low. Thank you!!!! Dr. Pete as well as his entire staff have cared for our beloved Maurice the Maltese for almost a…read moredecade. He kept him alive, enjoying quality of life for the last several years after he was diagnosed with both renal and heart issues. He always accommodated my work schedule in order to provide the care and did so with compassion and gentleness. A few days ago Maurice started having seizures and Dr. Pete tried every medication and treatment available in order to save him. He came to the phone and spoke to me personally multiple times over the course of the the 8 days leading up to his demise. When he suffered a stroke we knew that he was suffering and gasping for breath. Dr. Pete assisted our boy with a painless and peaceful escape to eternal rest. He was extremely caring and it was obvious that it was hard for him to see Maurice in such distress and was deeply moved himself as he fulfilled his patient's care for the last time. He also made all the arrangements for a private cremation so that we could keep him forever with our family in his beautiful tiny urn. I recommend Dr. Pete and his staff completely. We, as well as our Maurice trusted them 100%.
