We needed help quickly, so we drove here hoping they could help ASAP, not knowing what else to do. Everyone here was TOP NOTCH. From the receptionist, vet tech, AND veterinarian. In a crazy turn of events, of course, her foot was not bleeding when we got there. In an abundance of caution, we agreed to wrap her foot to make sure it doesn't start bleeding again, even though there was "nothing to see here". Everything about the experience was absolute five star service and I would highly recommend this practice to anyone needing care for their animals!

I have had several issues, all about how pushy they are with appointments and constantly finding every possible way to charge you, but it never related to my dogs health. This time, they did 5 teeth extractions on my little 9 pound dog. When I called to say she wasn't eating and one side looked swollen, they informed me they couldn't see her and advised we take her to the emergency vet. THEY DO NOT CARE. I have never had a vet in my 50 years of owning pets not want to see the patient that is in their care. I don't blame the vet directly, she probably doesn't even know. It's just the way this horrible business had chosen to conduct themselves. Don't waste your time or money.

Hello, I wanted to…read moreshare my experience with Dog-n-It. Through unforeseen circumstances I had to find daycare for my 10 year old pit bull. She has never been alone nor boarded nor day care. When I spoke with Logan & explained my need and concerns he was attentive and caring. A year and a half ago Lilli and I were attacked by a vicious dog. She has not been the same sense. She is very nervous around other dogs. She stands between me and them barking & refuses to give up until I remove her. Logan was very compassionate & confident in her safety & assured me with his knowledge of dog behavior and breed specific, he can help her to regain the calm, loving girl she had always had been. After speaking with him & visiting the facility I knew this is the best place for her. I had asked for her to be separated in her own kennel. Their personal kennels are superior to other facilities I visited. They are 3 sided cement block with 1 wall being fully chain link. This allows the dogs to see out and be fully protected at the same time. This gave me peace of mind, She would not be locked up in a four sided box hearing extremely loud barking from dozens of dogs, not knowing how close they were or if she would be attacked by them. Which could be very frightening to her. When I took Lilli by the facility the night before her first day at day care, Logan invited us in & allowed her to walk around and go out into the yard. His interaction with her was perfect, inviting her to get to know him at her own pace. He was not pushy nor demanding. I have complete confidence in his ability to care for her. The kennels are kept clean and all 17 dogs seem content. Very little anxiousness or uncontrollable barking. Its more like a home environment. With couches and t.v. Not at all like the dog shelter environment. I feel very fortunate to have found them & impressed by Logan's canine experience, knowledge and confident demeaner. From what I have seen so far, I would highly recommend them! Rebecca

It seems like they are mostly left in crates, which defeats the purpose of daycare. My dog didn't ever want to go back to play after our third visit, which was a HUGE flag for me. We met up with John & Molly to check out the facility and knew immediately that our dogs would be just fine. They took the time to get to know them, their needs and their routine. The dogs stability and safety are their priority, they maintain very clean kennels with happy dogs who are taken out for play multiple times a day. They maintain a regular schedule with the dogs they care for which is important for several reasons. They stayed with them for a week and came home excited but not nervous or upset at all. It's a family kennel, not a commercial operation. We have used them a couple times since and will continue to. We feel confident leaving our dogs with them each time without any hesitation and would highly recommend them.

So torn on how to rate Prairie. They have always done such a fantastic job with our cat, Ruthie and…read moreour dog, Sadie. We have been so happy with them. This last weekend, I was very disappointed that I could not reach them when it mattered most. My sweet Sadie was diagnosed last Monday, a week ago today, with lymphoma. She was put on prednisone, which needs to be given with food. Friday, we went to the vet to get anti-nausea meds because she was having a hard time eating. By Saturday we could not get her to eat and she was miserable. We ended up in the ER vet because Prairie does not have an on-call person we could even just talk to. So, there we were in an unfamiliar place with a Dr unfamiliar to Sadie and us, having to make the most difficult decision without even the opportunity to speak with our vet. I understand vets can't be open all days, but I do believe someone should be reachable for these horrible situations that don't always occur during business hours. You either care about our fur babies or you don't. That care shouldn't stop on the weekends or only be shown when it's convenient. I'm talking about a phone call here....not an office visit. Nothing is convenient about end-of-life circumstances. So, I guess I'll settle on a "3" for the rating. Day-to-day, fantastic...weekends totally out of reach. Unacceptable in my opinion and they totally failed Sadie when she needed them most.

WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS…read more I was told by their non-anesthesia vet dentist that my dog needs tons of dental work, including 1-3 extractions, and when I got second opinions from 2 extremely reputable veterinarians, NONE of that was true! I almost got scammed into getting paying THOUSANDS of dollars for needless dental work for my dog! Despicable! I will be reporting this to the American Veterinarian Medical Association! I will never go to this clinic ever again! IMPORTANT SIDE NOTE: I had to learn this the hard way, but NO accredited Veterinary association recommends non-anesthesia dental cleanings. Only an anesthesia cleaning can thoroughly clean a pet's mouth and detect all potential issues before they become big issues. Beware of any veterinarian who offers non-anesthesia cleanings!!
