My dog loves coming here! She gets so excited when we turn down the street. The staff are knowledgeable and are always friendly.

They were there when we needed them the most. We were apart of the Old Trail Fire level 3 evacuations. Paradise Pet Resort was extremely accommodating when we arrived without notice. They didn't have enough room for both of our dogs at the Spokane Valley location; but they were able to book us a reservation at their sister spot in CDA! They took our dogs in without question and when we picked them up they didn't even charge us with the State of Emergency going on. We spoke with Kayla who was so kind and empathetic towards our situation, she is definitely wonderful at her job! We 100% recommend this place in the future! Fake fake fake told me my puppy was too energetic foamy and humped other dogs asked for video proof because he's never humped ever and I have yet to receive still waiting for a "manager" to call me back. Terrible place to have your puppy or dog stay here unless you don't care about your dog or puppy. Owner didn't even listen to us and what we had to say. Even though we told him that our puppy, which is 6 month old, should play with the small dogs, ended up insisting that he is okay with the big dogs. Didn't even listen to us. This place is where they cram all the dogs and not enough help.... We left our puppy here for almost a week and we decided to come pick him up to walk him the night before we were suppose to finish with this place. When we picked him up, we noticed his right ear was sticky and funky looking. Upon closer inspection, we say that his ear was COVERED WITH DRY BLOOD! We took him back immediately and the owner and the workers were saying "oh it's just a little scratch from playing. It's totally normal." Bullsht that's normal! WTF! It was a large bite wound and I guarantee that no dogs "play bite" like that! We decided to take him home that day and what really ticked me off was the owner, Jason. After I told him that we will be taking him early, he exploded at me saying "ARE YOU SERIOUS?!? FOR A SMALL BITE?" Absolutely not Okay! Have some professionalism! You or your workers didn't even notice it and who knows when that happened! It could have been infected and killed my puppy! Good thing because I would have sued the living shit out of this place if it did... Not okay... My puppy was also not the same after. He picked up so many BAD HABITS from this place! He started biting and barking a lot more and more aggressively after this horrible stay... The bed we dropped off with him smelled like shit after.... We were visiting Spokane from Edmonds for a few days, and needed boarding for our pets, while we helped family move. I started searching boarding in the Spokane area and found Paradise Pet Resort, and couldn't be happier with the result. The communication was wonderful prior to coming over. They were so helpful, and it was easy to send my pups vaccine records to them. When we showed up the staff was so friendly and professional! They were thorough going over all the details for the stay. The facility was bright and clean. The pick up went very smooth, and the young man at the counter was so very pleasant. I have been taking my dogs here for 4 years. One is a 140lb rescue Rottweiler who needed socializing and had too much energy to be left at home alone without being destructive. They are responsible for giving him and us a happy socialized dog who us a joy to everyone he meets! We have also entrusted them with two of our puppies. One a rat terrier and the other a pomeranian. Daycare has made both of them so much happier and the socialization is invaluable! They treat our dogs like family and I am so thankful for every single staff member! Been bringing our dog here for about 6 to 8 months and she gets groomed here too. Was told today not to bring dog back as she is not trained to be around other dogs..I asked if they had a solution..maybe come more often..anything to help??? No way..the staff was rude and said I was a bad parent..We rescued our dog a few years ago and she has a great personality and is very high energy..to tell me I am not a good dog parent is unacceptable and stupid when you run a animal business..helping find a solution would have been helpful..beware of these people who say they love animals but don't want ones that are a little overexcited..shame on you..you advertise you love animals but only well trained quiet perfect ones.. read more

Oh my gosh I have so much good to say about this place!! First off the owner was there, I am awful with names, but he was out watering the beautiful landscape when me and my boy arrived. They just remodeled the front area and WOW it was stunning, such a welcoming feeling when you walk in. I just adopted my dog and this was his first grooming appointment so we were both a little nervous, the ladies working both reception and the amazing groomer herself acting like it was no big deal my 70lb mastiff has separation issues! It was so comforting and he honestly didn't even notice I left. They had so many options as far as packages, al a Carte, etc. so we were able to customize a VERY affordable package so my handsome man got every need catered to. When picking him up I got a report of him being a great boy and I was completely at ease. I would recommend the amazing staff at Paradise for your grooming or even day care needs! This was our first time leaving our anxious beagle Travis overnight. Travis stayed for 4 nights and he did amazing. I checked in 2 days into our trip and without even having to ask about his anxiety they let us know his anxiety has been great and he hasn't needed his anxiety supplement. Travis met a buddy named Bodie. I am so thankful for the wonderful care provided. My family use to own a couple dog daycare facilities for over 15 years in California so I am very particular about the care for our kids and am very protective over them. Our dog shook for 2 days after we brought him home. When we showed up a day early to pick him up, we asked them for the remainder of the food. There should have been 2 days worth left. They said there wasn't any. I said what were you planning to feed him tonight and tomorrow (the day we told them we would return) if you don't have any of his food left? Then they apologized profusely and told me to call the manager on Monday. This is the third time I sent him with way more food than he needed, and he came back empty handed each time. He's a very non-food-motivated dog. Each meal was in a baggie with the date and time of the meal on it. They really had no explanation for where all the food went and what they planned to feed him now that they say he has no food left. If they can't keep track of his food, I can't leave him there. I believe this is the best place I have ever brought my 9-year old smooth coat doxie mix. I simply love everything about the people, the prices, the services, and the genuine, heartfelt interactions I have had with the staff and even the other pet owners!!! I bring my dog and my neighbor's 3 dogs here about every 4-6 weeks for grooming, nails and anal glands, when necessary. I have absolutely loved how attentive, thorough, and overall excellent both the groomer and office staff are. The owners are almost always there and they take great pride in the level of service they provide. I have recommended them to anyone that needs grooming, day care, or boarding. read more

Amazing boarding facility. Very transparent about pricing and they don't tack on extra fees for things that should already be done. One dog we leave here has a specialized diet due to age, and they have no problems feeding him, which includes making pureed food for him twice a day. Both dogs are always excited to go there, and are always well prepared. We especially like seeing their daily Facebook photos to see how the animals are all doing. It's clear that the owners and staff love and respect the animals and people who come here. We have toured other facilities, but continue to use boarding here several times a year because they are there best. read more

BE VERY CAREFUL! At dropoff, I was very specific with this place to NOT cut my dogs hair when a bath was requested before pickup. He usually comes back home incredibly dirty and filthy. Speaks to the quality of cleanliness back there. But you are not allowed to see where they take your pet when you drop off. Strange. I picked up my dog and, when returning home, noticed uneven hair in his forehead, along with the rear. I called it in and was told a refund would be issued and that the owner would call me. When she called, she was rude on the phone and defended her groomer, even though she said they dont have a groomer there, and even after admitting she performed a sanitary grooming I did not request or approve, told me she just had to point out that I was upset and that her receptionist was hard broken after hearing the "tone voice" over the phone. That I had to be told that I was rude. How dare I be upset after you cut my Purebred dogs hair without permission? This is unbelievable. Skip this place if you want your dog unharmed. read more

Never again! My dog was traumatized for two weeks after spending two days there. He had bloody cracked paws from the bleach they used to clean the floors because they didn't the pets from the area while cleaning. I seen this with my own eyes when picking him up. I asked for a tour and seen them mopping without removing them first. He smelled disgusting, a stench I had never smelled before. Please find a better option for your babies. read more

This was our first time boarding any of our dogs and it was such a good experience! Their prices are so affordable considering the amount of out-of-kennel time the dogs get, and even though they have a ton of dogs, you get the feeling your dog is getting individual attention. They keep Facebook updated with photos and videos (although we only got video of the big dogs while our guy was there, so you have to look close to catch a glimpse of your pooch. The little dogs and cats got individual photos uploaded every couple days, which would have been nice.) Our dog crashed hard when he got home so I'm glad he was well worn out. He did have a big scratch on his nose, which seems on par with a bunch of big dogs playing all day. I only mention that because other reviewers have commented their dogs had gouges on their snouts and we had the same experience. But again, that happens with rough and tumble play. read more

I brought my dog to stay here, and at first everything seemed fine. My husband and I were sent photos and video of our fur baby...until one day they said she was tired and was resting in a kennel. We naturally just believed them...Until we went to pick her up. They rushed our pup to the car, and said they were closing early. When we got home, we found a MASSIVE wound on her face, and that she was bleeding everywhere. The owner screamed at me when I approached him about what had happened to my baby. Her health has never been the same since whatever they did to my pup. I highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs, in my opinion. read more

I was not pleased that when i picked up my dog he was full of poop on his coat, he is potty trained..... Also the toys i gave with him they were full of poop too. My wife and I decided to take our pups (lab and golden) on a 10-day working road trip. We take them both to our doggie daycare on the West side but were planning on being in Spokane for 5 nights. We needed a place for the pups while we worked during the day. My sister, who lives in Spokane and brings her puppy (Louis) recommended them. The day we showed up, we were greeted with the most friendly staff who took the care of verifying that our pups were up-to-date on their vaccinations. When we picked them up, they filled us in on their day and all of the new friends that they had met. We ended up bringing them to Paradise 3 of the 5 days and can't recommend them enough. This place is amazing! The team at PPR shows such committment towards dogs. They all have great energy and you can tell the dogs love them as much as they love the pups. My pup can't wait to get there and is so tired when we get him home. They even have an animal behaviorist on site, Matt who is very knowledgeable with the dogs. He's unbelieveable with our pup! Our pup is very energetic, smart and is young, so he's still learning, but they are so patient with him and Matt is working with him as well in training classes. The owners and their daughter are so sweet! I used to worry or have concerns in the back of my mind when leaving Andy for the day, but not with these guys; not a worry in my mind. They know the animals well. Great place! They are transparent with their contract, great communication with you regarding your fur baby and no hidden agendas. I have nothing but positive things to say about this pet resort! My husband and I have been leaving our goldendoodle Milo here about once a week for daycare. When we bring him home at the end of the day, he is able to sleep soundly after hours and hours of playing with the other dogs (which is nice for us, he has a TON of puppy energy!) Since the very first time we walked in, we have felt so comfortable leaving him there for the day and we always know that he is in good hands! I can't say enough about this place! My baby Akira loves to go here and is completely wiped out after. Sleeps the whole next day. While she was there I was able to have her nails and grooming done. I took my Shima here to be groomed today and I am so glad I did. The staff were wonderful and did an amazing job on his haircut. Previous places have had issues trimming my dogs nails, but they were able to do them without any issues. Two thumbs up just for that!! They did say that he was a squirrelly little guy, but I do appreciate their honest feedback and the fact that they didn't seem at all frustrated with him. We went here today to check it out & were totally disgusted! There were 8-10 cats in a room full of cages with their doors open. There were 2 smaller litter boxes on the floor that were overflowing with poop. In fact, they were so full the cats were pooping on the floor next to the litter boxes. One of the cat "trees" had dried poop on one of the perch levels - how long had that been there? The checklist on the door was last initialed on March 2nd for the cleaning having been done.
