My daughter came home for Thanksgiving break and we went to have reflexology at happy feet. It was our first time. We both felt that these massages were absolutely delicious, the best we have had in the Portland area. We highly recommend this clean and welcoming venue. You should note that there is parking behind the shop, although it's hard to see. We parked on Belmont and had a half a block walk to the location. I was pleased that there was still a dish of Halloween candy. Nothing like a white chocolate Kitcat after an amazing full body reflexology treatment. My therapist did not push my body too hard and as a result I am just humming along like a finely tuned violin. If you have not had a 60 minute Chinese foot reflexology treatment, you may need to know that it is a full body, clothes on massage. You pay a certain amount to the business, but the only money the therapist gets is from your Tips. You should really tip at least 20 bucks per massage. read more

I wish I could give a 5 star but way too many issues First let me say I have no issue with hole in the wall establishments as I could care less about the wall decor. This was far beyond a wall decor issue 1. I asked for the combo - reflexology and massage. A man came out and led me to a room. In the room was a bucket for my feet and he asked me to sit down . Now I thought I would have the reflexology first in one room and the massage in the other . I was wrong. He brought up the table and than began massaging my face with a cream that was very perfumed . It was very uncomfortable. After that he removed the water and did reflexology . When he was done he lowered the massage table but it wasn't a full table so my legs where on another part that was unattached The massage was at best mediocre . He never asked what my focus on and strangely I was full clothed . I've done hundreds of massages in my lifetime and the only time I've been fully clothed was during a Thai massage Towards the end he asked me to turn on my stomach . Between the perfumed cream, the awkward massage and table and the lack of understanding I thought it couldn't get worse When we were done I went to pay. They said on the phone only cash or venmo. I paid cash and reluctantly gave a tip. The therapist had the audacity to take the payment and than he said "let me count how much you gave me for a tip?" I was mortified and than he said "this tip is not enough - I expect 20 percent tip" - I said I am sorry that's all I have on hand. In my life I've never had anyone essentially demand 20 percent. My husband took me here for my birthday. Best one hour foot massage ever! Expecting just a basic foot massage but the staff goes way beyond that. They massage your head, neck, shoulders, legs and just when you think you're done they ask you to flip over and continue from legs to neck. It was such an incredible value. This place is solid. I have been here a handful of times for a 60 minute reflexology and have loved it every time! Each time I have come I have had the same man do my massage and he is great. Very respectful, quiet and makes me feel like a new person when I step out of there. They do require masks and only accept cash or Venmo. I typically do Venmo and it's super simple. One of the best things about this place is the price! It's 40 bucks and just amazing. A lot of other places are more expensive or if they are cheaper, it's not as good. The parking can be a little bit tricky but they do have a parking lot in the back where you come in where they have two designated spots and I've always seemed to get a spot. Looking at the reviews, i was excited to get an amazing massage. i have had terrible pain in my foot for about two weeks, so i requested an extra 10 minute focus on my feet, which the masseuse agreed to. we used a translator app to communicate so i saw my words of "can i have an extra 10 minutes of feet massage" that they agreed to. after a 100 minute massage, i was shocked when she asked if i was okay/if the massage was good, because my feet had not been touched other than lightly toward the beginning when she was stretching me out. i was still charged for the extra 10 minutes, and i let her know i had asked for an extra 10 minutes on my feet and she read my message and just went "ohh..." i understand language barriers exist! i am always accommodating to finding a way to communicate, and if they are using a specific device (the translator) i'd hope they would read the entire message so these mistakes don't happen. due to lack of understanding one another, and sadness in getting no relief in the one part of my body, i just paid the total and left upset. guess i'm posting this as a heads up to triple check with them if you have requests and special needs. i am also disabled so it was hard to communicate that part, so i'd definitely only recommend this place if you want a simple, deep tissue massage. :/ she did spend a good amount of the massage just applying pressure on parts she had already massaged as well, so i'd also suggest just doing a 60 minute or the combo option rather than the 90 min full massage read more

I have scratches on my upper back from the massage therapist's fingernails. Painful. Regarding your response. Clearly you spoke to the wrong employee about the wrong client because my therapist was a she. Perhaps you meant to write she. In that case, I was there for foot reflexology and therefore never removed my shirt. Nor did I lift my shirt. So it's impossible for anyone at your company establishment to comment that I already had the scratches because they never saw my back. read more

THE BEST REFLEXOLOGY IVE EVER HAD! My fiancé and I were visiting from SF and we wanted to treat ourselves to the combo massage (foot/back) while we were here. We regularly get these type of massages in San Francisco and this place was BY FAR the best we've ever had. The back massage portion is a proper back massage with oils and everything! Grace and Kelly were our masseuses and I cannot reccomend them highly enough. They worked out every knot we had in our tight backs. The foot massage was the perfect pressure, and they even calmed us in the beginning with a face massage! 10/10 - if we lived here, this would be our spot. My friend and her visiting mother first tried this local spot out and could not have been happier (and they are people with higher standards). I was very surprised to hear that they only charge $30 AN HOUR for a reflexology session and that they actually enjoyed it! My experience in the past at other places (like resorts) have been lackluster (to say the least) AND very expensive. The even better thing is is that they take walk-ins and short-notice appts. I was able to call and get in the same weekday within a few hours -- which was amazing. I usually decide on the spot I need a massage, haircut, etc., and just want to go in ASAP. I was really looking for a detox and pamper time after a hard week. I could literally walk there from my place now which is oh-so-lucky-for-me, but they do have parking behind their building where their entrance actually is. They accept cash, Venmo and Paypal, I believe -- no credit cards. Works for me! I was taken in right away, and I was able to lie down and relax on a nice, wide massage table in a clean, quiet room. The door was left open, and you keep your clothes on. At first, your feet hang off the table as you lie on your back. They bring out a big tub of hot water and put your feet in it as you get massaged from top to bottom (you flip over to your belly at some point after being on your back). Even though it's a reflexology "foot" massage, you really do get a full-body experience from head to toe -- literally. The experience was excellent, and I definitely drifted into a semi-dream state. The deep pressure was what I was looking for, but it was not painful. It was just right. The hour session was a true hour as well. I LOVE this place and am so happy it exists! Happy Feet is fine. We did a couples massage based on a Groupon and there was a little confusion around this. They only take cash and that's not a problem. The massage was a typical reflexology setting and a little rough. My partner was very uncomfortable and mine was fine though not relaxing. They did a fine job. I just want to say this is by far one of the best massages and reflexology done on me ever! It was deep tissue massage by far, very releasing and cathartic for sure. First visit today, very pleasant. First, they wore masks and took my temperature before discussing anything. The space was very clean and the rooms had higher ceilings which made them feel more spacious. (I've been going to another Reflexology place for years, but last time I walked in they weren't wearing masks so I can't return.) I got just what I wanted: a firm pressure massage without being crushed and it was an excellent experience. This will probably be my new spot. $30 for 60 min, $50 for 90. I did an hour of reflexology. A word on tipping: yes, it would probably be better if reflexology places in general charged $40/hour so a 20% tip is fine, but they don't. I always tip $20. For $50 you're getting a much better deal than regular massage places that now charge about $85 + tip per hour. If they work for an owner they're not taking that whole $30 home, plus I found a few years ago with regular $20 tips it seemed like my massages got even better and they're always happy to see me. I really value the work they do, I need regular maintenance. They other thing I love about reflexology places that outside of busy times like weekends I can call and they can usually get me in within an hour. read more

We went here based on good reviews for a couples massage but those reviews are wrong, we should have left the moment we walked in. There was no ability to communicate with the employees and both of them acted confused the entire time as if they had no idea in how to do there job. Both masseuses constantly left the room leaving the door open, we had other people walk into the room while laying there, when we turned over they never left the room, they just lifted the towels right off of us and had us turn over, the water they had to drink was actually hot including they gave us after the massage, there was no way to communicate with them to try and tell them that it hurt and it did hurt, my wife and I could not relax the entire time because everything was so confusing and this was not our first asian massage and all we could think about was getting the hell out of there in a hurry and now that we've woken up our backs are killing us. Happy feet does not equal happy massage especially the bucket of hot water they put your feet in at the beginning and I tried telling them no because my feet didn't fit in it and it was painful to do but they had no idea what I was talking about and wouldn't move the bucket so I was just stuck with it. I used to get massages from Charlie who was great. Yesterday I was told that he left but that a very good woman masseuse was available. The body massage was way too aggressive especially on my back. She raked over my ribs over and over. I asked her to be softer but she didn't speak English and didn't understand. I hurt when I left and even more so today.
