You're missing out on expanding your business opportunities to your North Bronx neighbors. With that said, I wish there was a Happy Feet in the Bronx, not those cute little animated penguins dancing around, but the actual Spa. If there were a Happy Feet Spa in the North Bronx area I wouldn't have to cross the Whitestone or Throgs Neck Bridges to get that wonderful feeling of relaxation. But for now, I'll cross either bridge because it is well worth it. While you're reclined in your spa chair you will get your hands, arms, shoulders, legs and feet rubbed in a dimly lit communal room, with drawn curtains allowing just enough privacy, while being soothed into a cat nap like slumber whilst listening to piped in music of the sounds of nature, during a solid 60 mins for only $28.00...oh so relaxing and so worth it. Until I find something better I'll continue to come here. After all it is Queens and I'm certain the competition is somewhere out there in the surrounding borough. Walk-ins are accepted, but it's also a good idea to call ahead to make an appointment. Aside from the fairly low price, another good way to keep the customers coming back is to present them with a frequent visit rewards card. Upon checkout, get your card stamped; for every ten visits you receive a free spa service. We went for the acne facial and 60 minute body work and 30 minute reflexology. The facial was ok. But the massage was horrible. It was mostly rubbing up and down no real massage. Then the foot massage was even worst. He literally stayed in one spot (inner ankle) and rubbed in a circle. He was falling asleep as he was basically scratching my inner ankle. Now he's the kicker! He farted! Yes passed gas at the end of my massage. When it was time to pay we were leaving a tip but it wasn't a huge tip because the massage was wack. They demanded a ten dollar per hour tip. My BF and I went here last night for foot massages and it was an excellent experience! We went pretty late, so it was just us and one other person. It was very peaceful and relaxing and they play soothing music while you get your massage. My BF has never received any type of massage and he was pretty apprehensive about the whole, but he LOVED the experience. They soak your feet first and while you're soaking, they give you a brief arm, shoulder, and hand massage. Then they apply a foot scrub with another brief leg/foot massage. Once the scrub is washed off, they begin the actual foot work and my goodness...it was just what I've been needing for such a long time! I had someone name Kenny working on my feet and I could tell he has been doing this for awhile and knows what he's doing. He mixes the reflexology technique within the overall foot massage. He applied the perfect pressure and I will stick with him for whenever I go in for foot work. I almost fell asleep but I didn't want to miss a moment...my body was in such a state of deep relaxation. I am going to start coming here on a regular basis because I tend to work long hours and my legs start to get tense and swollen. Today, I feel great and full of energy and my legs feel wonderful. I'll be checking out the body massage in one of my future visits. They have great people working here and you can't beat the prices, especially for what you receive in return. As a teacher and camp counselor I am on my feet all day - I have found my cure! No, this is not my first attempt at massages, but I had always found them either good but too expensive or cheap and terrible. NOT SO AT HAPPY FEET! This is an excellent place to go for a true...feel good...foot massage experience. It is clean and professional. The staff is pleasant and aren't just there to make a buck. I booked an appointment rather easily. I believe the woman who was my masseuse went by the name Aida. The place is small but quaint. Nice music playing to relax you. The room I was shown to was small but it wasn't too small. I told Aida what spots I needed to be focused on & she went to town on them. She mainly focused on my back since that's where I am having issues. She also did a quick once over on my arms & legs. I had a little difficultly communicating with her but I didn't take any points off for that. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because of 3 things. 1. Aida had a wet cough & during the session she proceeded to cough without covering her mouth. She didn't attempt to stifle or turn her head away when she coughed. She just blasted her cough right on my back. I felt so uncomfortable about it I had to shower when I got home. I didn't say anything to her about it but I may write them a note about it. 2. The room started out warm, but it seemed that they had other customers who came & went & the opening of the front door made it cold. Aida did not add any covers to me when I mentioned that I was cold. But maybe that was a communication issue. So by my estimate of the time, about half way through, my hands were cold and I was shivering. She did not provide adequate blankets/towels to keep me warm. 3. A client came in and was yap yap yapping on her phone while getting her services. The walls are quite literally paper thin & do not reach the ceiling so you hear a pin drop in that place. And no one told her to get off the phone. It ruined the mood. Overall I will go back in a couple of weeks but make sure I mention the blankets & see how it goes. It was very quiet and soothing. The host was courteous and very accommodating to our needs. He took our jackets and even offered us green tea. The massage itself was amazing. Tina said that he worked all day without stop and he could have been little weak but I frequently receive foot massage in Flushing and it was little disappointing. Which I liked: Soothing atmosphere, individual curtained massage areas, warm blanket to cover your body, friendly staff, foot scrub (like the one you receive for pedicure) before the massage. Which I didn't like: Man rubbing/touching my entire arms and hands in the beginning, and short shoulder massage at the end. Both were not that great and I wish I received more foot work instead for those 15 minutes. To me this felt like a pedicure/foot massage combined. It was relaxing but not a hardcore /professional foot reflexology that I expected. read more

I agree there is no way you can find a good massage place in NYC for $40 an hour but I have been to better places for only $15 extra, so I'm thorn because after a really rough day I rather receive the type of massage that sends me to bed fully relaxed. This place receives 3 stars because the technique wasn't all that great, was good, but not excellent. Masseuse only did back of my body, forgot the front, didn't even touch the feet nor my head.. I definetely had better experiences, my expectation on full body massage is FULL body: back and front, legs, face, head, neck, hands and feet; and to make matters worse my payment got messed up and bc the person who took my card didn't know how to "reverse" the payment, I got my money "back" in cash. Just had an hour back massage. It was technically a full body but I told them I wanted to focus on my back because I have been in pain for about a week. I was lucky to have Kevin work on my back and neck. I love hard massages that are for most people considered painful. I consider it heavenly. The price is as good as it gets.
