Ok so things do go up....I then entered the spa and was greeted by a new person I had never seen. I asked for Tony who is my regular person and she said "tony no more". Told her I wanted a 1 hour foot massage to which she quickly said "it's $40 dollar and $30 tip" I said $30 tip??? She said yes! I turned around to walk out and then she said "ok $20 dollar tip". I said that's better and then unbelievably she said "but $30 dollar better". I turned back around and walked out. They have fairly decent prices for all their services. My boyfriend and I both got the 1 hour foot massage which is about $30 dollars. They're very calming inside and you could just fall asleep. They have instrumental piano music playing in the background. As said by other reviewers, they do not speak fluent English and so communication was difficult. Don't bother buying the groupon anymore bc you can just walk in and tell them you saw a $25 deal online and they will honor it and only charge you 25$. The massage rooms are clean and simple. I almost passed out if it weren't for the guy pressing my pressure point ... That I couldn't concentrate on passing out. The guy never stopped once, and really worked hard on my back. This massage place is great. While they don't speak English...they know how to give an incredible massage. I went two days in a row .because I had very severe kinks in my neck and shoulder. My masseuse was a man, not sure his name who asked if I had pain anywhere. I said I wanted deep tissue massage for my back. It was more like i had to point. Well he worked and he worked and he kneeded those areas. It was like he intuitive knew the severe pain I had been in. First the deep tissue, then hot oil and then hot stones. It was honestly probably the best massage of my life. Sure there wasn't spa music playing and scented candles all over. I'm highly disappointed with this place. Came here with my girlfriend for the 90 minutes promo they had thinking it was going to be $40 line all their flyers and the sign on their front desk said. The massage itself was mediocre at best and the lady had my boxers pulled halfway down my butt and the door open, terribly unprofessional. When we to pay we give them $50 each. $40 for the massage and $10 for tip. The man tells me that the $40 is for something else as each massage was $50. So I give him an additional $20 for our tip, and at that point he turns around a sign that said a minimum tip would be $30. They were accommodating and flexible; they fit us in same day plus I changed our massage time 3x that Wednesday afternoon & they were fine with it. My deep tissue full body massage was alright. The music playing overhead repeated fur elise on the piano which got annoying to hear for 90 minutes straight. Halfway through the massage the masseuse left me in the room with the door open to talk to someone which I also found annoying. In the final 5 minutes, my face was worked on which felt like it was being stretched into funny faces. I've never had this done in a deep tissue massage before. When it came time to pay, my boyfriend and I gave $40 plus a $10 tip each. As we turned to leave, the masseuse asked us for tip money and said that we only paid the amount for the massage. We pointed to the $40 promotional offer and stated that we did in fact tip. We were told that the promo somehow didn't apply for us; his reason was lost in his broken English. He flipped the promotional sign which on the back had Chinese words and "30 - $5, 60 - $10" & then stated that for 90 minutes we should pay $15 each. For a long time me and a few coworkers have been saying that at the end of the school year we would treat ourselves to a relaxing day at the spa. After searching websites like groupon, living social, lifebooker, and the spa week website (because it was spa week duh ), we gave up and turned to good ole yelp for help. The reviews were limited and not quite recent but after several phone calls (and also noticing that this spa was on groupon) we decided to give it a shot. Fast forward to the big day of our appointment and skipping all the details of the phone conversations...this place is wayyyy in college point. Its actually located in a new hotel in college point, but there is a shuttle bus offered by the hotel that takes you to and from mainstreet. We didnt know about this until we took the q25 and noticed it in the parking lot area of the hotel. Ok, so we were directed to make an appointment in advance for our large group to ensure that there would be enough staff available the day of the appointment. Now I didnt know what to expect at all as I entered but was really surprised. Very very very clean, dim lighting, clean, smelled great, clean, great decor, clean, friendly staff, great service, nice bathroom, oh and clean! I guarantee that you will feel like a brand new person after you leave this place. I felt like puddy....mushy gooey puddy. I was on a different kinda high (no drug needed). I decided to go with the deep tissue massage (even though the hot stone was included we ran out of time... *insert sad face*) but she got every kink and knot out of me. Ahhhhhh ( what a long review). To sum it all up you better head here for a great, reasonably priced massage. I got a hour full-body massage for the amazing price of $38 - that is truly great. It was close to home and easy parking, and I had a strong and very skilled female massage therapist. The cons are quite a few...but would not keep me from coming back. They don't speak a lick of English so I couldn't communicate at all -- thus, I can't tell you the therapist's name. The shower doesn't seem to be open to the public (despite what the website says) since it had a stringly ol mop in it and some nasty old sponges. I was counting on using it because my block's water is off due to street construction - oh well. The other thing is, I got hit HARD In the head and that really hurt. The massage therapist used heated stainless steel balls to work out some terrible knots on my back, but one went flying out of her hand and hit me in the side of the head. Made me cry out in pain. So, that's my story. Overall, there is nowhere I've ever heard of in Queens to get a good massage for such a great price. Even to go to the back of my generic nail salon, costs $65. read more

I had no idea this place even existed until I recently came by to eat at The Buffet up on the third floor of this new building. It just so happened I also got a postcard in the mail saying they were having a grand opening sale on 1 hour back or foot massages so I figured why not give it a shot. If you've passed by the building and seen the Kung Fu Tea and other small food places from 20th ave, the spa is actually on the same floor but inside and behind Kung Fu Tea. The easiest way to get in is to park in the lot by the Kam Man grocery store and enter through the center of the building where the elevators are. From there you'll find the spa on the basement level C. I called during the day and asked if I needed an appointment but they said I could just come by. They saw my postcard with the discounted rates and prepared me for a 60 minute foot massage. A 1 hour body massage was normally $50 discounted to $40 and 1 hour foot massage was normally $40 but discounted to $30 for their grand opening special. The place was modern and clean. There were about 10 large comfy chairs for foot massages and some private rooms in the back for body work. It started with a hot water soak with something added to make the water a light green color. After my feet were warmed up, a guy came over and got to work on preparing my feet with lotion. I opted not to watch tv when offered and it was a bit eerie being the only one in a big room getting a massage but the mood lightened up a little when I started chatting with the massage therapist. As a note, the receptionist spoke English and Mandarin but the guy massaging my feet didn't really speak any English at all so our conversations were interesting since my Chinese is pretty bad. While you don't really need to converse with the therapist, it would help if you had someone that speaks Chinese as they can pinpoint where your feet hurt and how to help treat symptoms you may be having with reflexology. In the end my feet felt relaxed and a lot lighter. There was a little pain from the pressure during the massage but he was sure to keep asking for feedback as not to go overboard while helping to relax my feet. I paid for the massage and tipped the guy on the way out. If you're only planning to get a foot massage, I'd recommend wearing loose fitting jeans or pants so that you can roll the legs up since they lotion and massage your calves during the session. It wasn't very busy and I wonder how many people even know about the spa since I didn't see any signs out front but I plan to come back and try it again. read more

Finding this place was a nightmare. The parking lot is strange. The elevator doesn't take you to all the floors and you're circling around like an idiot. No one speaks English here so asking someone was no help. When I found the place, I was annoyingly greeted by the girl at the desk. She looked as if she just woke up and was not happy to have clients. Like us showing up for our appointments was a nuisance to her. Before telling us about her services or anything about the "spa", (and I use that word sarcastically- this place is just a foot rub place) she made us pay the taxes for our massages and demanded a $10 tip minimum per person! I explained to her that tips were earned, not given and I would tip as necessary AFTER our services were rendered. Really? The audacity of some people! This turned my stomach already and I didn't want to bother with the massage. My husband insisted we go through with them since we already drove all the way there. Although we requested a couples massage, they were unable to accommodate and placed us in separate rooms. (Although on the phone she said she was able to accommodate) I received a man and my husband a woman. I was told to undress and lay on the table. As I was laying there covered by nothing but a small towel, he AND the receptionist burst into the room yelling at each other in Chinese/ Mandarin? and looking for a previous clients sunglasses! When they couldn't find it, the receptionist left the room and the man came over and started rubbing my back with the towel still on me?! He didn't speak a word of English and didn't say anything to me. This confused me as to how this place was a spa. 5 mins in and this was the weirdest and worst massage I had ever gotten. I had to take the towel off and point to the oil before he realized what I was trying to tell him. Another 5 mins in and his cell phone rings- he went ahead mid massage and picked it up! He was on his phone, speaking to someone in Chinese/ Mandarin? the rest of the massage!!! When his timer went off, he left the room..didn't even tell me the massage was over and that I should get dressed. My fully clothed husband had to come into the room and get me. He had an "ok" massage and went ahead and tipped both masseuses since the receptionist instructed him too. It was only after I told him my horror story that he realized he shouldn't have tipped at all. I went to the counter to argue with the lady. Instead of refunding us, she tried to take the tips back from the masseuses. Smh! Such poor business policies here. After scolding her more, she didn't apologize or even try to rectify the situation. She just kept repeating "we have lot of happy client". Yes, I'm sure the sick old men going into the back rooms with the younger girls are your "happy clients". Massage could be good but the girl left the room 5 times. Once to see a friend, two times to answer the phone and two more to answer the door. I believe she did not even start the timer for full 60 minutes. So I end up having 25-30 minutes of massage instead of 60. I went here over the summer for a massage with my friend.....the technician not only answered a call while she was working on me...she stayed on the phone for 15 minutes!!!! no lie!!! I thought I'm just going to wait a minute and she will get off...no sense in aggravating myself and wasting a massage, then when she didn't get off, I said to myself ..ok maybe its family related..have a heart right? she finally got off after 15 mins and said my daughter. .and that's it. she never gave me back the lost time and I left there feeling like a complete idiot. Massages are decent-enough pressure if you ask them for it. Cupping therapy proves to be the best thing here for me, traditional Chinese medicine, alleviates my kinks and tension and muscle spams in my neck and upper back. My wife loved their hour long foot massage so much so that she fell asleep during it, decently priced as well. Language barrier is a huge problem, difficult to conduct business with them, speak to them about what service you want or make an appointment or discuss a groupon/yelp deal, they once used an app to translate Chinese/mandarin to English text to convey a message to me. They demand a tip, $5 for half hour service and mandatory $10 tip for hour service, I am all for tipping and do so very generously, but based on service not on demand-that's a wrong business model to have in my opinion. Parking lot is pretty big, easy to find, is in the basement of a huge building, my wife was a little creeped out walking in alone. May or may not return. read more

They are disgustingly rude , barely speak English and don't even try to understand what your saying they just brush you off .
