This was one of the most uncomfortable Airbnb experiences I have ever had…read more Late at night, around 10 PM, I received multiple calls and voicemails from phone numbers I did not recognize regarding a parking issue. I have screenshots and call records showing the timeline. The first voicemail/call came before the Airbnb app message, even though it was later represented to me as if the app message came first. The host's own Airbnb message stated that their property manager tried to call me, which confirmed that my personal phone number was used to contact me directly outside the Airbnb app. As a guest, this made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe, especially at that hour. The host also stated that they saw my car on camera. Combined with the late-night calls from unknown numbers, this made the situation feel even more unsettling. I moved my car, so the parking issue itself was resolved. My issue is not the parking. My issue is the way the situation was handled, the direct late-night phone contact, and how uncomfortable I felt afterward. Aside from that, the stay itself was disappointing. The sofa bed was not comfortable, the cell service was poor, and the internet was unreliable. For the same price, I would have felt much safer and more comfortable staying at a hotel. I would not stay here again.

Beatriz's upbeat energy, expertise, strong work ethic, and systematic process allowed us to tackle one room at a time, starting with clearing boxes and other items on the floor to reduce the risk of falling. As we sorted, Beatriz labeled containers to store similar items and collected items that could be donated or discarded. Once the floors were free from clutter, she then decluttered, sorted and organized all closets and cabinets, creating more efficient use of existing space. When I struggled at times to make decisions on items that brought up both happy and sad emotions, Beatriz's patience and understanding kept my spirits up and inspired me to keep going. We put in six-hour days, and Beatriz kindly stayed longer to clear the garage and get the job done. I could not have done this without her and highly recommend Beatriz and Me In Order services to anyone overwhelmed with clutter and chaos at home. Knowing that my mother's home is safer and more accessible gives me peace and hope that she can continue to stay in her home (aging in place), and live independently longer.
