I love me some beer, beer, and more beer. This place has a huge variety of any type of alcohol you can think of. I was able to make my own 6 pack for a reasonable price. Sadly this section isnt cooled, so you will have to keep it in the fridge for a bit before exploring and experimenting with your beers. There is only an aisle to pick from, but it was honestly hard for me to pick which beers I wanted because I love adding to my Untappd and I love tasting new ways beer is made by these brewing companies. I was even surprised to see soju there! Its a great Korean beer that i discovered and loved back home. Although they dont have my favorite yogurt flavor, they surprisingly have flavors i have never seen back home such as grapefruit and plum. I even discovered a brand of rum that i really want to try. There is this rum called Kasama and knowing the language and meaning of it, i picked it up out of curiosity. My suspicions were correct. A rum made from the Philippines! Sadly we didnt bring a suitcase to fit under the plane, so I will have to do some research when I head back home. My only downside was it seemed a bit awkward for me to be there. The cashiers/employees kind of eyed me a bit as I walked around the store. I turn a corner, feel eyes on me, look, they turn away. Felt more comfortable to be around customers because the customers wouldnt stare at me and the service wouldnt dare look when more people were around me. read more

This is the stop if you want to grab liquor in Fargo, open early and open late until midnight most days, you can pick up pretty much any kind of liquor you can think of here. I saw some great Japanese whiskey as well as plenty of mixers and all kinds of different beers, although some of the more esoteric things that you see on the East Coast microbrewery list don't make it out here. There's a fair amount of international major brands and domestic styles. You can also grab a free bag of ice at the front with any purchase. I don't write reviews for stores at ALL. This is my first. But my experience in this store boiled me so much I must write about it. I liked the aesthetics and vibe of the store, but what made me put ONE star for this place was the checkout. The checkout clerk wouldn't let us buy the products because one of our members didn't bring his ID. Yet, me and my brother-in-law, who happens to be a cop, had valid ID's to buy. Yet he was specifically targeting our friend. This guy can clearly see that we have ID's, licenses, etc to show we are the legal age to buy. But he refused. Even refused when our friend had a picture of his ID on his phone. Why? Most likely because we're minorities. Two Mexican-Americans and an African American. If the race was the other way around, most likely he would have let us leave with no problem. But clearly this guy didn't want us to happily buy their products due to clear discrimination. There's no sense to refuse when we have clear evidence that we are beyond the legal age to buy. How many IDs do you need to show that we LEGAL AGE? 10,000? The whole family tree? Ridiculous! This man and the store ruined our evening. If you're a person of color you're better off getting alcohol somewhere else. This clerk and the store should be ashamed. Please regroup and change this petty rule and the person's discrimination. read more

It's decor is fitting for the area but very upscale. Fits the theme for all HH Stores in ND. The staff is well trained and very motivated, in fact every customer order is personally carried out by one of their very capable staff, even if it's one bottle. The have very competitive pricing throughout all departments, it's your one stop shopping for all party needs. I had the best experience thanks to Nate Honrath. My Mom loves Crane Lake Sweet Red wine and we recently found out that it has been discontinued. We live in Minnesota and I have contacted many different places to try to locate this specific wine and it's nowhere to be found. I remembered Happy Harry's Bottle Shop in Fargo, Nate was happy to tell me that they did currently have this wine in stock. I told him that we would take all that he had, so he gathered all of the bottles from the three locations in Fargo and we walked away with almost 4 cases of Crane Lake Sweet Red wine, thanks Nate! read more
