Junkyard added this West Fargo taproom (originally brewery is in Moorhead) when they renovated a former bank building - which they did a great transformation. This location has tons of both indoor and outdoor seating and has multiple levels of both. The large street level patio has more shade and the large rooftop patio has more sun. On this last visit, we sat on the rooftop patio, in a nice alcove area that probably seats about 10+ people between the wicker chairs and the high top. This would make a good hang out spot if you are coming with a group. The beers are always good, with a wide variety of options. For this visit, even though I was tempted to get the PB&J Sour (which actually tastes just like a PB&J), I ultimately had (two of) the Mango Orange Lime slushy drink. It was so good, and the staff commented as well on how it's a favorite of theirs. And speaking of staff, they are always very friendly and attentive, which serving you at the bar or stopping by your table to see if you need anything. Junkyard always has popcorn on hand, and while they have tasty pizzas as well, we just stuck with the popcorn and drinks on this visit. They actually had free Sandy's Donuts as well, and I don't know if that is a normal Sunday thing or something special - but we didn't take any anyhow. They now have more wines and beers to chose from; and they have a great selection of hard alcohol too. The thing I like the best about them is their beer selection. They have a wonderful microbrew section and it's continually changing throughout the year. Lots of brews here that you won't find anywhere else! The staff is super nice and always able to answer questions about what things taste like, pairing your tastes to what they have, and even taking ideas of things to order. What a wonderful example of the specialized Martini trend made famous through the 90s and early 2000s. We also sampled a Swedish and Danish delicacy known as aquavit. If you are a fan of licorice or ouzo, give this delightfully pungent and aromatic beverage a try. We sampled it straight up, they may have it as a mix in for a drink but I'm not sure. Overall this place is a great experience and really knows their stuff. It was a joy to visit here and I think about it frequently when I remember my trip to Fargo.

The orange cream cocktail was super refreshing on a hot day and I'd try any of their creations next time. Finished up with a sake where the full proceeded to the staff as a tip.
