Our go to grocery shop during the trip. Parking lot was scarce compared to the other grocery store parking lots nearby. Store has a large variety of stocked organic items and a small variety of non-organic items. Whether it be for beauty, health, or for food they have it all. Excellent selection of fresh and frozen organic produce. I noticed some prices here are better than the Aldi location down the street, specifically grapes. I'm in communication w/ corporate right now and I will see if they can tell me which organics are less contaminated w/ plastics than the others (everywhere it's likely that non-organic and organic produce has plastic contamination). They carry two brands of salt that are not contaminated with plastic: 1) Redmond Real Salt, and 2) Celtic grey salt (here they have light grey). I buy my non-PFAHs-contaminated floss here (brands Radius and Tom's). They have what appears to be a low-processed plant-based milk here, just two ingredients, filtered water and one of two types of nuts - Elmhurst Milked Cashew and Elmhurst Milked Almond. I am probably not the healthiest guy in the world... Do my best to stay in shape, stay active with the kids, get my steps in. My doctor says I drink too much coffee, and probably eat too much meat. Always trying to convince me I should eat more grains, even though that's decidedly not keto. Still, I can always find something to buy at A Health Foods store, or get down with a big vegan muffin... That such purchases generally coincide with being in the company of my better half to some health nut store... I mean health food store... probably the only reason that I stepped foot into this establishment on our summer road trip. So what if we had just stopped in the parking lot at a fast food place to load up on crap food for the kids? He say that like it's a bad thing! My wife, who doesn't care much for fast-food grade ground beef, Convinced me to duck into this supermarket with her to look around. Maybe I'm just a SoCal supermarket snob, but I was actually impressed with the store. Well-stocked and well appointed with all the usual stuff you would find in a place like this. Monk fruit sweetener? Get out of here! Pea milk and oat milk and hemp milk and antimatter milk? We'll they had most of those. My better half grabbed a few things, and we were on our way. Plenty of fresh produce, prepackaged items, and what looked like a pretty nice selection of health supplements. The usual natural items like shampoo and lotion that I imagine wasn't tested on animals. Which is cool. Carnivore Luddites like me can still enjoy a quinoa salad, a tofurkey sandwich on sprouted bread, or dipping organic pita chips into Not-cho cheese. Air popped things and ovolacto-vegetarian omelets from free range chickens. All good to me. If the previous paragraph describes a goodly portion of your lifestyle, you should give the store a look. read more

Similar to a whole foods, but pricier, with less options. I can never find the meat I want, and they often run out of lactose free products. Herbs such as mint or basil are grey-ish, clearly not that fresh. I recommend Prairie Roots instead. Vitamins and health sections are great though! Make sure you bring bags, often run out of boxes. read more

They have some good products (e.g. Liberty yogurt) but most not very qualitative products that are not even local. Prices vary and generally higher than you would expect to see in major cities. The offer paper boxes to pack things you purchased. The cashiers occasionally give you a little attitude and can be slow. Overall, I'd recommend only for the things you like and buy regularly. Otherwise, avoid. read more

A great and healthy addition to grocery land in Fargo-Moorhead! Natural Grocers stocks a wide array of organic and gluten free products. We have just had to switch over to gluten free and were happy with all of the choices they have. This is pretty much a full service grocery, with great produce, dry goods, refrigerated/frozen products, and household items. They also have a huge vitamin and supplement section on one side of the store and health/beauty section on the other. Check out their selection of nuts, dried fruit, spices, etc too and pick out some hard to find items. The only thing they don't have that I wish they did is a deli! I would LOVE to have fresh selections of organic or healthier options for lunch meat & cheese. They have those two things in packages, but I just can't buy lunch meat in a package...it might be good, but just looks gross (that's just me). The prices are pretty steep, but you're paying for quality and taste here so I can take it. If you haven't been there yet, check 'em out. If you have, keep on going! read more

Fargo finally has a great option for organic groceries!!! The produce here is great and prices are definitely cheaper than a Whole Foods / organic grocery sections in typical grocery stores.Great bulk section and baking section for those with allergies. Huge vitamin / beauty product section. Downsides: Smaller meat selection (I would opt for Costco for this) and I really wish it had a deli/salad bar. read more

They have a great selection of all organic produce and fruits. Their vitamins and supplements selection is unbeatable. Such great stuff. There is just about everything you need in a grocery store here, too. The staff are always friendly and helpful and you never need to wait to check out. Woo Hoo! A fabulous new natural food store in Fargo. I understand this store opened recently, and it is a gem. From the outside, it looks industrial and nondescript, and not particularly inviting. Do not be scared off! Inside, it is large, spacious, attractive and easy to navigate, even if you handicapped. The produce section contains a large selection of items, and everything looked fresh. Lots of great options on the shelves with a variety of products in all categories, including popular brands and items. Several different brand selections of kombucha. They have a large personal care section with natural brands of shampoos, soaps, etc. They do not have bulk bins, per se, where you can portion out the amount of product you want. Instead, bulk items are prepackaged in set amounts. I got a bag of their Super Nutty Granola, which did not taste good at all. Way too sweet, and seemed a bit stale. That said, I love this store. It really is perfect for Fargo, and I plan on visiting it a lot. Friendly and helpful staff as well. read more

Great for Fargo. Finally competition for Swanson. And it's a better store with a way bigger food selection. It has a bigger than necessary supplement section, as with a lot of natural grocery stores in the Midwest, so that cuts down on the grocery side but they have enough to keep me happy. They also put on seminars and have great discounts and a reward program. Overall, it's the best natural grocery store in a 150 mile radius, so I'll give it 5 stars instead of 4. read more

Amazing place!! Being a vegetarian this is my favorite grocery store in town. Huge selection and great quality for a fair price. I'm not gonna lie it's a bit spendy but that's how most natural food places are. Produce is great here, not a big selection but it has everything you need and great sales. Fyi for you carnivores out there, not a big meat aisle but has your staples so I think you should be good. read more
